  1. The Profagonists.
  2.
  3. Ivan Nickonovitch- Peasant-with-a-grimoire. Due to a head injury he gained the ability to hear spirits, which was the beginning of his fall into villainy. At the prompting of the spirits he has studied necromantic magic, and killed twice.
  4.
  5. He is somewhat cowardly, passive, but has a realistic outlook.
  6.
  7. Ivan’s family has owned the grimoire for centuries, the last relic of a forgotten bloodline of a powerful mage family. Ivan is the first member of his family to become literate in a long time, due to the teachings of a passing bard. He left his family, taking the grimoire with him, to learn more about the strange book. It was during this journey that he was hit on the head, selectively forgetting a whole lot of stuff in that convenient way people in fantasy do.

  25. Bones- Bones was originally a gestalt of bored spirits, dedicated to harassing Ivan. They/he was bound to a skeleton at the end of thread one. Bones isn’t an individual consciousness as much as a weird undead hivemind deal, with the voting players representing spirits that make up the Bones gestalt.
  26.
  27. Bones is an asshole, amoral, impetuous, and quick thinking. He loves limericks.
  28.
  29. Bones doesn’t really have a history, being a weird mash up of a bunch of ghosts bound into a skeleton. He seems to be on a quest to either become the baddest skeleton around or acquire a working penis.

  51. Honorable, Brave, old fashioned, classy. Will not let Bones ride on his back.
