Thom - Mazino Alliance

[15:19:40] The being known as Mazino was out on quite a long journey, as expected of someone with eternal life; now he was finding his way back to Loranthis.

As he walked through the Wychwood forest he left a trail of corpses behind him; yokai and human alike, anything unfortunate enough to cross paths with the vampire soon met its demise.

Eventually Mazino arrived to Loranthis where he laid his malevolent, sanguine eyes upon a yokai and another stranger whom he still did not meet.
He cracked his neckbones lightly as he looked around thoroughly; wondering where's Conquest.

Mazino would be floating merely a few inches above the surface, for some reason he would be walking around shirtless, showing off his flawless body, although it's not his intention, there's a good reason behind Mazino's lack of clothing.

He eventually dissipated the levitation magic and came crashing down onto the concrete with a loud thud. He then fixed his gaze onto Kallistos; "You don't happen to know where Conquest is; do you?" - he would ask nonchalantly whilst resting his dominant hand over Mammon's hilt.

[15:20:32] Kallistos Vortigern: I do, but you will not like the answer.
[15:20:32] Mazino: Talk, do not waste my time.
[15:20:32] Kallistos Vortigern: She has been slain by Thom, who has taken the mantle of the Golden King.

[15:28:12] Conquest? Slain? By Thom at that?

A burst of depravity was suddenly emitted from Mazino's very core; he no longer was suppressing it. It surged throughout his body violently and eventually it began to ooze out. His depravity would be so intense to the point where it literally distorted the atmosphere around him. Any vegetation around began to wither and eventually completely faded due to the intensity of Mazino's depraved energies.

A single phrase escaped Mazino's mouth as his eyes widened; "WHAT?!"

It was simply outrageous. For Conquest to die and by Thom's hands at that?
He gritted his teeth as he stomped onto the concrete out of frustration, and with sheer strength he made the whole surrounding area quake.

Shortly after doing so, he followed up with yet another demonstration of his brutal strength which made the whole place quake yet again; he drew his sword and simply smashed it onto the concrete. Needless to say, the concrete was reduced to nothing but dust.

"Where's Thom?" - he would ask in a rather sinister tone.

"BRING HIM TO ME!"

[15:30:46] Ignoring the intruging Yokai for now, he'd shift his body to look at Mazino fully. A vampire enraged was certainly nothing to scoff at and he didn't like the thought of letting this hang. Choosing his words carefully, he'd speak.

"He's not here. He hasn't been here for awhile, and I have no idea where he is." he'd say with a muted frown, "He's probably in Sunflower with his Silver Queen. Apparently we are allied now and they intend to attempt to restore it."

He'd keep his one eyed stare focused on Mazino, wondering if hewas going to do what Conquest could not.

"He's not hiding, though. If you stay here, he will come."

[15:33:20] He looks at the strange ritual of the two and happen and felt like he should attack the creature. He dash toward it and punch the yokai an make a quick get away.

[15:38:27] The substance shifted. Misty apparition surveying the new arrival. A breathy noise escaping the misshapen strands that comprised its being. The mist shifted upwards. Noting how the environs was decimated by a show of strength. Hunger and greed glinted within the wispy yokai's gaze.

The entity peered upon them both, before the cloudy darkness floated near the conversing duo. Voice issuing forth, a faint trace of innate depravity wafting from the occultic mass that was the yokai's state of being at present. "Are strog.. Arise..tael..se..r..ve..st..re..n..gth.. if..wa..nt.."

"..De..v..our..ene..mie..s.." The yokai stated after a brief mental pause. Offer of servitude extended, if only to devour those that the stronger being defeated. To absorb all mana, from the Vampire's defeated foes. Solely for it's own selfish benefit.

The punch from Nosuki, would be ignored. THe attack did nothing, though the arm sunk into his misty form. It was like being dunked in ice cold water. However brief the sensation.

[15:47:50] The kid felt alive after punching the creature but wanted to kill it, he then charge up lightning and was getting itchy to strike it with his unmastered element.

[15:53:48] Depravity. It could likely be felt in the air as the red haired man stepped out of the white tower. Hellstorm as always shrouded him as the red haired man streached slightly, glancing around the area. A look of calmness was on his face, before seeing the form of someone he had been expecting; Seeing the form of the vampire Mazino.

Based on how the vegetation around him was withering Thom could say the vampire was.. Quite pissed. Thom could only imagine and hypothize why. Reguardless the singular arm raised into the air, giving the vampire a wave.

"Mazino. Greetings."

[15:57:13] Mazino furrowed his brow as a grunt was emitted from the depths of his throat.
This sure is an unexpected turn of events; Mazino did not see that coming.

He needed to act fast; knowing Conquest and her regenerative abilities Mazino might just be able to reverse the outcome if he acts quickly.
He needed to find her body.

Sunflower you say? I'll fuckin' overrun their sorry arses. Damn fools, HOW DARE THEY?!" - he would announce out loud, his foot rapidly stomping onto the ground and the surrounding area keeps on shaking continuously.

There's only one way to anger someone as composed as Mazino; and that is hurting his kin. Literally the only beings he still cares for in the world. The only ones whom he'll stick his neck out for.

"I'll butcher those lowlifes, this is the end for them." - he would add ontop of his previous statement as he lowered his stance, essentially gathering quite a bit of strength within his legs with the intent of launching himself into the air and quickly leaving for Sunflower.

However, Thom made his appearance and Mazino quickly redirected his attention to him.
A flash; is all that could've been seen. Mazino seemingly vanished out of existence just to re-appear right infront of Thom. Mazino would be literally stuck up Thom's face; his own forehead would bump into Thom's and it also would pack quite a bit of force at that, mayhaps leaving a mark.

"What've you done?" - he would ask, expecting a damn good explanation.

[16:03:12] Put two and two together and what do you get?

"I take it that you found out about Conquest then. We had a bit of a falling out." The man would say, seeing Mazino's anger yet remaining completely calm. "She killed someone I was going to get information out of. I was not pleased. If it were the first incident of disaproval I would have let it go, but this was the fifth.

So I spoke to her about reimbersement. If she took something from me, something that can not be gained from anything else in the world should I not be entitled to something in return? That is the way that I view it. But she said no.

I insisted. Perhaps said some things I shouldn't have, brung up her lover and how it felt to lose him in comparision. She drew her sword and demanded I back down or face it. I do not run, Mazino."

A second for the tale the sink in.

"She still lives if you are curious. Despite our disagreement I am still fond of her. Do you have questions?"

[16:09:10] Mazino took a step backwards; his gaze fixed onto Thom.
"Thought so. killing her wouldn't be that easy. Where's her body?
And that aside, you should be ashamed. You quite literally bit the hand that fed you. Over what? We both know that had she won it wouldn't have ended in such a way, worst case scenario you would've gotten a slap on your back.

However, YOU chose to go this far and with such a foolish reasoning at that-... I'm simply disappointed Thom, I really am." - he would explain whilst shaking his head in disappointment.

This was simply outrageous. Mazino assumed something serious happened between the two, however something of that caliber caused this? How foolish can one be?!

"That aside; The Golden King, Thom? Really?" - he would ask nonchalantly whilst waving his hand in a dismissive manner. That was rather uncreative.

[16:17:42] "Killing a vampire requires a stab through the forehead. I was informed of this and as such avoided killing her on purpose.

That being said, it was a moment of anger Mazino. As I said, both of the times I intended to interogate people she killed them before I had a chance. She offered no reimbursement. In addition I am told she attempted to have one of mine murdered. I offered my aid for infromation that she didn't have and didn't inform me she didn't have in the first place..

But if you think she would have held back against me, given me some sort of slap on the wrist, it was not like that at all Mazino. She summoned all her ghouls, and raised Durendal towards me, the intent for her to kill in the air. I will not say what I did is right, or that it was something one should not be disapointed in me for. But it was indeed a life or death situation."

So much talking. Explaining himself. It was odd from Thom perhaps. The red haired man was a bit more for action ussually.

"Well, I have more gold then any other color. Could have gone for red but thats more of Conquest's color." The man said, his glowing golden hues looking ahead.

[16:28:48] If anyone else had done such a thing he would already be choking on his own blood by now. However, Thom wasn't someone whom Mazino could take down easily. He witnessed his strength first-hand, although Mazino was holding back quite a bit by not using everything he has got, even when using everything it wouldn't be easy taking on Thom.
And if Maizno rushly takes on Thom, he just might end up like Conquest.

Mazino needs to play it smart, he needs to be sly about it and he knows it. He might be angry, however he is by no means a dimwit.

"Very well, Thom. Save whatever is left of your dignity by accepting the following bet; You and I shall fight. If I come out as the winner you'll tell me where is Conquest's body, and in return, for being cooperative I'll ensure your safety and even after she comes back to life she won't end your life, I'll make sure of that.
Shall I lose, I'll respect your decision and I'll get off your case. How about that?"
This was quite a sly move coming from Mazino, he's trying to keep the risks to a minimum while fighting Thom, he wouldn't want to end up like Conquest after all.
However, it's quite a fair deal to the both of them. It's a win-win for Thom no matter the outcome.

However little did Thom know that Mazino doesn't really have the intention of suppressing Conquest if she wakes up, and she's very likely to go for the kill. Which would be understandable.

Would he accept the challenge, I wonder?

[16:33:04] A grin spreads across the Golden King's face, an offer that is very interesting. Loyalty if Thom should win a duel and the revival of Conquest should he not. Chances were he would not survive another encounter with the female vampire, she would want to drink his blood, end his life.. Yet given current situations and his own chaotic nature?

"Sounds like fun. I accept your bet Mazino." The red haired man stated simply walking a bit towards the pavement nearby as he would have appeared to think. "Do you desire to do it right here outside of the white tower? Or would you prefer that we take on this battle elsewhere? I do not mind either option in the slightest."

The move was sly perhaps but.. Thom had no intention of being fearful. Whatever should be the outcome of what he did would be the outcome.

[16:40:44] Magnificent.
Thom fell for Mazino's plan magnificently.
Everything was happening just the way Mazino wanted it to.

"Very well, follow me. The city is already in ruins, if we fight here we'll demolish it completely. We don't want that to happen, do we?" - he'd say whilst gesturing Thom to move along.

He would then kick his feet into motion and make his way towards the Sarab Desert, the place where they fought each other for the first time.
Mazino's feet stomped onto the ground rapidly, and due to his sheer physical strength, his surroundings quaked violently. Thom was well aware of Mazino's physical prowess, and Mazino pretty much engaged in psychological warfare by demonstrating that power over and over again, right before their bout.

[16:45:00] Mazino v Thom, fight number two.

As far as the red haired king saw this was merely a chance to draw Mazino's loyalty. The Golden King, while perhaps thinking he might be in danger if Conquest did come back, also accepted it. Thom was never afraid of death after all, such would be clear based on how he very quickly took on bets from vampires and other such fearsome things.

"Indra."

The lighting elemental would very quickly be brought into the land of the living. It gazed around and cackled as the red haired man's singular hand moved to his back, drawing off the depraved blade that he wielded. Certainly an upgrade from what he used to possess.

"Lets see how this bet turns out Mazino. No matter what it will be exicting."

[16:45:52] The kid traveled with the strange people an hopes that something interesting would happen, he was fasinated on stealing from them. He then hopes that he can learn a thing or two about these people and what kinda a magical power they possess. Glaring at them he watch as the battle unfold.

[16:52:41] Mazino bursted out into a hysterical laughter.
This is their second bout, hopefully it doesn't end like the last one.

After a few minutes of continuous laughter Mazino finally fixed his gaze onto Thom whilst cracking his neckbones lightly.
He gripped onto the hilt of Mammon, his newly acquired sword and unsheathed it in one fell swoop.

Mazino took on a rather peculiar stance, which was long lost within the history. A rather potent bladestyle it is, which Mazino did not use in their last bout.
Now, Mazino also wields a new sword, he traded Ahura out for Mammon, since Ahura was way too heavy to properly use in combat.

"Mammon." - he called out its name and the sword began to vibrate violently while glowing red.

It was time to settle the score.

[16:53:32] {combat} Mazino has been defeated by Thom M. Takashi! They're unable to continue fighting.
[16:57:48] Now that was a blade that Thom didn't want to get hit by.

The Golden King managed to win the first round of this bet but the hellstorm magi quickly was finding out what he was up against. Mazino was truely still a fearsome foe, and without his arm.. Thom was nearly matched. He really had to get that thing replaced.

Still he fended himself well enough. The field of ice appeared around, wanting to slow his movements but he seemed to have adjusted to it. How could he not, having fought an ice magi during the prison raid that had occured?

The weapon was also new and Mazino used some sort of new style.. A new style that brought him up to a level that made Thom sweat. Honestly the battle was only barely one and he suspected that this might be a bet that he might lose..

"Can't hold back Indra. Move faster." The man demanded, prepping his blade as he waited for Mazino to get to his feet agian.

[17:01:13] That was a rather familar feeling. In their last bout it didn't end quite differently.
Thom simply kept on backing off while shooting magic blasts towards Mazino, maintaining his distance is a smart thing to do indeed. Even receiving one blow from Mazino can be proved fatal.
Mazino needed to push harder, he needs to close the distance between himself and Thom as fast as possible, otherwise this will end with Thom emerging victorious, again.

Mazino was fended off, while not at ease it didn't seem to be too hard on Thom either.
He shook his head briefly as he took on a fighting stance yet again.

Mazino knew that there was no space for mistakes here, Thom is a formidable and experienced opponent and he'll surely make use of any openings.
He now sees why Conquest lost to Thom, he's simply the worst enemy a vampire could face; his attacking range is simply too wide which disallows vampire to close onto him.

Mazino cracked his neckbones lightly as he got ready to dash in yet again, he was enraged. He wanted to get back at Thom for what he did. Will he be able to?

[17:02:04] The kid watch as they start the match and happens to see plenty of magic and happens to like what the person with red hair ws using. Seeing the monster appear our of the shadow an seems to be suffering, it was just muscles with blade in it.

He fold his arm then rub his chin. "What the hell how did he create that shit.... Seems like i need him to teach me that art of summoning strange monster which seems to be suffering with nice muscular built." He mumbles.

Seeing how the vampire looking smile as the battle started was strange because he stood and take the strikes of lightning then vanish like a ninja. Man that shit was awesome. He got Thom the red hair person running like a chicken but it seems he was more of a mage then a close combat person.

The match up was not good but the better fighter could overcome any obstacles, they say. He then saw some fire waves and more lightning but what was interesting to him was the fact that Mazino the vampire could fly that was crazy. How could he have master such art or magic.

[17:08:03] Fearsome to say the least.

No matter what Mazino was truely a powerful foe. Yet despite that.. Thom was faster. The vampire attempted to hit him with his blade but Thom recalled the thing that Syx told him long ago 'mid range'. Mazino was a fighter who needed to stick close to their mark. Thom on the other hand?

Thom could go anywhere.

Hellstorm slowed down the vampire further and trails of lighting would cause the vampire to stop, the buzzing drawin away his attention enable to gain a hand up. And then the final blow would come, once more an arrow of flame knocking down Mazino.

"I believe that I win our bet."

The Golden King stated, making sure his attacks had not done enough to brutally injure the other man. "Reguardless, when we get back to Loranthis there is something that I want to talk to you about. Whenever you're ready." A nod the Golden King turning slightly, glancing at the.. crowd that had accumulated.

"... Hm."

[17:12:19] Mazino was defeated by Thom, yet again.
This was enraging, however Mazino is a man of his word.
He won't go against Thom directly, as he promised.
The others however? The new wielder of Durendal? Oh he's going to get devoured straight up.

The seemingly self-proclaimed "Silver Queen"? She's going to choke on her own blood. Mazino will be getting everyone who co-operated with Thom all by himself, one by one, all or together. It didn't matter. Thom was the only person in Valmasia who could outrun him like that. If Mazino faces against anyone else, he'll surely emerge victorious.

"Very well. Let us go." - he would reply nonchalantly, appearing to be rather composed. Although in reality wrath surged throughout his body violently.

Thom didn't know.. that Mazino is going to annihilate everything and everyone he ever cared for.

The vampire simply moved along.

[17:19:08] Back to Loranthis!

After the fight in the Sarab desert the Golden King led Mazino back to the White Tower to talk. They stood on the outside, the golden eyed man the turning around and facing the vampire. Obviously there was no idea of what went through his head but Thom had some ideas of his own..

"You want Conquest back. And I want her back as well. I have very few desires even now, and as such.. I want your assistance completing them." Thom explained, crossing the singular arm of his over his chest.

"It will be one that I assure you will not be opposed to. Burning Cinderfall. I intend to stay around for that and after? I care not. As such when the city is burned Conquest will be released once more. Of that you have my assurance.

Will you assist me with this goal? You are strong and I would very much like your help."

[17:23:24] Mazino shrugged; to think that after everything Thom had pulled off he would ask for Mazino's help....

Anyhow, helping him out and hence reviving Conquest would be much easier than actually going against him and annihilating everyone he cared for.
While it wasn't Mazino's style to do as others tell him, it was the best course of action with the highest chance of actually reviving Conquest.

"Very well.. Although I do not think it'll be that easy to achieve, especially without Conquest." - he would reply shortly afterwards.

"While at it, I've been just wondering.. Where's Conquest's body? Or would you rather that I wouldn't know of its current whereabouts?"

[17:27:40] "Indeed, it will not be. Chances are that I will revive her before the actual burning of the city in fact. I just want to see the place destoyed with my own hands before she attempts to murder me again." The red haired man simply stated hand moving into his jacket pockets.

"As for Conquest's body.." The red haired man seemed to think for a second, considering everything.. The golden gaze then moved, looking behind him. Was it towards the doorway into the White Tower? Or somewhere else?..

Conquest's body was no where in sight after all. "She's.. Closer then one likely thinks. But at the moment I do not wish to give information on her whereabouts. I must ask for patence, just a little." a nod before looking towards Mazino again.

"Thank you for your continued assitance."

[17:32:48] He quirked an eyebrow as soon as Thom seemingly gestured onto the White Tower.
Mayhaps Conquest's body is really there? He'll have to check that out later.

"Let me make something clear, Thom." - he would announce out loud whilst wearing an emotionless facial expression.

"I'll help you out here-.. however do not think for a moment that I'm doing it willingly. I'm simply a man of a word and I do not break my promises. Nonetheless, I never made any promises about refraining from hurting your loved ones, did I?
How would you react when I deliver their decapitated heads over to you?"- he would ask as a sinister smile spread across his face. He was really enjoying it.
And he wasn't lying either; as mentioned beforehand, he's a man of his word, he'll do it.

He'll butcher every single soul Thom had ever known and will have their heads delivered directly to him afterwards.

[17:39:37] The sinister smile.. The threats. Perhaps Thom should have been bothered by them, but no the Golden King merely smiled. "Crystal clear Mazino."

"Unfortuantely.. There is not a grave many loved ones that I have. I used to have many, but they reside in Cinderfall. You know what I'm going to do there?" Thom inquired, a sinister look now sitting upon the king's own face.

"I will behead the foundation that betrayed me. I will set fires to the dream they stole. I will utterly anhiilate anything that is in my way, anything that reminds me of how they used me and discared me. You want to hurt my loved ones? Help me burn the city they lived in.

It is not a matter of emotion. Even the Silver Queen doesn't want the city burned, she wants to use it. But no. I will see that destoyed. It is a matter of my pride and a matter of honor." Thom said, not breaking eye contact with Mazino as he spoke.

"I live in Loranthis. I live to burn a city. If you bring me the decapitated heads of my former friends? If you tell me in a report that they are devoured and split apart by yokai?

Good."

[17:41:20] Mazino: Did the "Silver Queen" aid you in any-way against Conquest, or afterwards?
[17:42:11] Thom M. Takashi: No. It was a matter between myself and Conquest. we fought one on one. Vivian can confirm that.
[17:43:02] Mazino: <*Mazino would scoff*>
[17:43:02] Mazino: When do we start?
[17:43:02] Thom M. Takashi: The 'silver queen' only came by once to my knowlege after I fought Conquest. That was to look for soilders for her city.
[17:43:02] Thom M. Takashi: Soon.
[17:43:53] Mazino: Be quick about it, I might lose my patience.
[17:43:53] Thom M. Takashi: Of course.
[17:43:53] Mazino: Anything else?
[17:44:44] Thom M. Takashi: Not at the moment. Any concerns on your part?
