personality → hwayeon is a quiet girl who prefers to be alone and think about everything. she tends to overthink things for so long that they become a big issue for her. she almost never smiles and if she does, then she tends to hide her face. however, she also doesn't cry, as sad as she may look. she learned to hide her emotions. she also doesn't have much empathy; she says whatever she thinks without caring about the consequences. she's also the type to not actively participate in group activities, she rather just watches the others.
background → hwayeon has been bullied during middle school. that was also the time when her mother passed away, causing her to lose everything important - her mother was everything for her. since then, she grew up with her aunt with whom she didn't get alone very well. when she got in high school, she didn't get bullied anymore but she already changed and stopped to open up to people; she never had a boyfriend because she knows relationships can hurt in the end - she rather stays alone the rest of her life than risking being hurt due to losing someone again. this is why seeing one of her friends dying is a terrible feeling for her; she just never wanted to lose someone else after her mother.

trivia → hwayeon owns a necklace with a photo of her mother, she's still not over losing her. she often watches the stars at night because she suffers from insomnia from time to time - there are so many toughts in her head causing her to stay awake. hwayeon studies korean at the university at the moment, she wants to become a teacher. at first, she considered becoming a doctor but then she realized that being a doctor means to eventually lose patients which she wouldn't be able to handle in the long run. she loves poetry and literature, causing her to read a lot. her favorite book is goethe's 'faust', a german drama and she even writes her own poems.

her feelings towards the dying friend → the two went to one middle school where the dying friend was the only friend hwayeon had, thus their friendship is very precious to hwayeon. the dying friend also introduced her to the other people in their group, she was actually the one that brought her back into the social world, even if she doesn't open up that much. she loves the dying friend like a sister and always watches over her from a distance. when she found out she'll die, she locked herself in her room and cried for four hours straight, eventually she accepted she'll lose her friend. she still can't handle it very well, because losing people is her biggest fear. every moment with the dying friend hurts her because she keeps getting reminded of the near death.
her feelings towards l/i → hwayeon doesn't talk much to namjoon; she actually hardly talks to anyone except the death friend. she, however, sometimes watches him and can't help but find his clumsy behavior cute. she would of course never admit that. she isn't interested in having him as a boyfriend because she's afraid he'll break her heart (like he breaks everything else he touches). when he talks to her, she would answer in short sentences in order to make him stop talking to her. she admires namjoon's songwriting qualities since she loves poetry and thinks he would make a good poet.

will she willingly take place in the ideas on the bucket list → she hates that the fact the group is trying to forget that the dying friend will eventually die and thinks the situation is way too serious to do things like those on the bucket list. she however takes place in it in order to try to give back the dying friend what she gave her when she was her friend back when she was bullied.
comments/how they feel about the list → what should i say? of course i don't like the idea of this... bucket list. it's childish to think it would make anything better; the situation is serious and everyone seems to forget about what will eventually happen. but yeah, i'll give it a try, for her. she deserves to be happy, and if this childish and inappropriate behaviour makes her happy, then i'm willing to do it.

ideas for scenes/interactions with everyone → go camping, sitting around a campfire and just talk about the past, watching the stars, go on a trip to the beach, singing karaoke, dancing in the rain (if it's summer ofc because summer rain !!)
