Raine and Deidre (Student Lounge Dec 20th)

Alivi: Raine is working on homework in the student lounge.
[11:44pm] Alivi: He sighs frustrated with the assignment. He rubs his eyes a bit and leans back placing the paper down.
[11:45pm] Mactoffice: something feels.....wrong
[11:45pm] Mactoffice: the hairs on the back of his neck are standing on end
[11:45pm] Alivi: He would have to figure this out eventually. he pauses as the strange sensation fills the air.
[11:46pm] Mactoffice: if he looks around, he'll see other students look somewhat uneasy
[11:49pm] Alivi: Raine looks up and frowns, "…huh…" He looks around. Does he see anything off?
[11:53pm] Alivi: Raine sighs and lowers the temperature of the room, it makes him feel a bit better. However he still has a bad feeling of sorts.
[11:54pm] Mactoffice: nothing is immediately "off"
[11:54pm] Mactoffice: but thre's that creeping sense of unease in the air
[11:54pm] Alivi: He begins to relax.
[11:56pm] Mactoffice: ...are his hands withering?
[11:57pm] Alivi: Raine looks at his hands, what do you mean by withering.
[11:58pm] Mactoffice: the skin looks oddly taut and sickly
[11:59pm] Mactoffice: ....no, it doesn't anymore
[12:00am] Alivi: Raine takes a breath.

[12:02am] Mactoffice: okay.
[12:02am] Mactoffice: the atmosphere is still dense and unnerving
[12:02am] Mactoffice: but he can manage
[12:03am] Mactoffice: "Hey!"
[12:03am] Alivi: Raine takes a steading breath. He turns towards the voice.
[12:11am] Mactoffice: Oh, it's Deidre
[12:12am] Alivi: Raine relaxes, "Oh hey… you alright?"
[12:15am] Mactoffice: "Yeah. you?"
[12:16am] Alivi: "Um sorta, something just felt off..."
[12:16am] Alivi: He leans back again.
[12:17am] Mactoffice: She ignores that
[12:17am] Mactoffice: "wha are yo doing?"
[12:18am] Alivi: "I was doing homework," The room slowly begins to return to normal temperature, the cold lifting.
[12:21am] Mactoffice: "Oh. homework."
[12:21am] Alivi: "Yea..."
[12:23am] Mactoffice: "Booooooring"
[12:23am] Alivi: "Yea."
[12:31am] Mactoffice: "Wha's it for?"
[12:31am] Alivi: "It's for English… not my best subject..."
[12:33am] Mactoffice: "Old King's English?"
[12:33am] Alivi: "What?"
[12:36am] Mactoffice: "Is it Ye Olde englishe?"
[12:36am] Alivi: Raine stares at her very confused, "It is regular English….. what does 'Ye' mean?"
[12:41am] Mactoffice: "the"
[12:41am] Mactoffice: "what, you've never seen medieval stuyff?"
[12:43am] Alivi: "A…bit…but no…this is regular English…"
[12:48am] Mactoffice: "Just joking" she giggles, which sounds like a raspy, guttural laugh
[12:48am] Alivi: "A-ah…" Raine isn't smiling or laughing. He is frowning.
[12:49am] Mactoffice: "anyways, here's your sketch, plus a couple moreI did between yesterda and today"
[12:49am] Mactoffice: She slides a handful of pages towards him
[12:49am] Mactoffice: "Hope you like them."
[12:50am] Alivi: Raine looks at them, he still seems a bit upset, maybe embarassed? "A….Ah…thanks…"  He takes the pages and flips through them.
[12:52am] Mactoffice: there's the sketc of him, one of some trees (which makes them look quite gnarly and sharp)
[12:52am] Mactoffice: one of the school, which looks eerie and forebonding. and older than it actualy looks
[12:53am] Alivi: Raine looks at them.
[12:53am] Alivi: "These are good."
[12:53am] Mactoffice: and one of people walking, in which they look ghostly and eerie
[12:53am] Mactoffice: "thanks."
[12:54am] Alivi: Raine nods. "You are welcome."
[01:03am] You left the chat by being disconnected from the server.
[01:09am] You reconnected to the server.
[01:09am] You rejoined the room.
[01:16am] Alivi: He picks up the homework sheet and lays it on top of the sketches and places it in a folder.
[01:23am] Mactoffice: "I'm glad you liked them"
[01:25am] Alivi: "Yea I did… thank you again."
[01:26am] Mactoffice: "You're too fomal"
[01:27am] Mactoffice: She gives a teasing smile
[01:30am] Alivi: "Too…formal?"
[01:30am] Mactoffice: "Yep."
[01:30am] Alivi: He doesn't seem to get she is teasing, is she? He has no idea. "I…um…sorry…" He clears his throat nervously.
[01:30am] Mactoffice: "You're all like..." she stands up, rigid
[01:31am] Mactoffice: "you need to loosen up"
[01:32am] Alivi: "Loosen….up?"
[01:32am] Mactoffice: "Yeah! Just relax"
[01:34am] Alivi: "Relax……" He sighs, and rubs the back of his neck. "I understand I think,"
[01:35am] Alivi: The air around them gets noticeably cooler.
[01:35am] Mactoffice: "Yeah. Like this..."
[01:35am] Mactoffice: she steps up behind him and stats rubbing his shoulders, trying to get them to loose up
[01:37am] Alivi: Raine tenses up at first not really expecting this, however the more she does this, the more he finds himself relaxing a bit.
[01:43am] Alivi: Raine closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. He just finds himself imagining winter, the thing that always calms him the most, the air is chilly. Overall he just feels comfortable almost like he isn't even at this place anymore, that home is closer than it seems now.
[01:44am] Mactoffice: He can visualize a lonely, silent taiga
[01:44am] Mactoffice: the wind barely making a sound as it rustles the leaves on the trees
[01:44am] Mactoffice: shadows...among the trees...
[01:44am] Mactoffice: and th snow forms irrgeular patterns
[01:44am] Mactoffice: some look like skulls buried under the thick layer of snow
[01:45am] Alivi: Raine frowns a bit. He tries to see clearer what they are.
[01:46am] Mactoffice: not skulls
[01:46am] Mactoffice: skeletons
[01:46am] Mactoffice: buried under the snow
[01:46am] Mactoffice: and he sees eyes in the shadows
[01:47am] Alivi: Raine looks at the shadows. How realistic are these thoughs?
[01:47am] Mactoffice: vague
[01:47am] Mactoffice: just vague outlins
[01:47am] Mactoffice: but he can /feel/ it
[01:48am] Mactoffice: being watched
[01:53am] Mactoffice: somthing...looming...over him
[01:55am] Alivi: Raine begins to feel the tension return. He tries to hold onto what he had before but it is soon lost, gone, his awareness is highetened. Waiting for whatever it is to strike.
[01:56am] Mactoffice: "Hey" she lightly smacks his head
[01:57am] Mactoffice: "don't fall asleep on me!" she lets out a raspy giggle.
[02:14am] Alivi: The temperature practically plunges gradually easing back up as he backs away from her seeing that he has no reason to be afraid.
[02:21am] Mactoffice: "And try to cut down in the air conditioner, too"
[02:24am] Mactoffice: *on
