It from Bit is the latest rage in physics and quantum information theory. Space and Time are supposedly, in the end, made of bit of "information." Yet physicists have yet to make the final step. (Or maybe they're too afraid to say it aloud lest aging department heads snuff their careers.)

You see, if everything is just information, there must be Something to be informed. And that Something is the only thing, since the information itself exists only as what is known by the Something.
