Taishan, the flagship of the Beiyang Fleet, armed with three 42cm quadruple shock mounts as its main battery and sporting the revolutionary Ragna Engine, it was widely deemed to be the most powerful battleship that has ever been laid down to date.

“When the Denisov Research Institute received orders to build a new battleship for the late Yu Dynasty, Taishan was conceived mainly as a test model to replicate the power of the Valkof. Yamato can be said to be the ‘complete’ version, the first true super-battleship.”
