Koopa Starship

Our team would like to introduce Koopa Starship, the new, mythical, fantastical, and out-of this world K-Pop girl group! Not all of them are women, and they are invented by Japanese people, who have historically not been on very good terms with Koreans, but that is alright, because gender and race are irrelevant in the world these Koopalings come from. Much like certain other girl groups, Koopa Starship are involved in acting out a unique story within their promo and music videos: this time around, the concept for our girl group is Snow White and the Seven Dwarves in SPACE. More fairy tale adaptions are to come in future eras, but for now, here are the origins and member profiles of each of Koopa Starship's eight members! Read on to know more!

Koopa White

Title: The Royal Captain
Theme Color: White (It's a color!)
Theme Weapon: The Koopa Starship
Theme Instrument: Whistles
Theme Character: Snow White

The beautiful princess of Koopa Starship is the youngest, but also one of the most talented! A child of now deceased royals from a distant galaxy, Koopa White heeds the warnings of a huntsman and escapes from an evil queen planning to cause destruction and woe acrods the universe by stealing the Koopa Starship and searching for seven little Koopalings to help her fight back against her wicked aunt. Just like how she leads the Koopalings in-universe, Koopa White is the big singer of Koopa Starship. Her vocals are among the most prominent in the group. Her songs are also known for their themes of female empowerment, which is in contrast with the original Snow White's role! She always begins each song with a whistle.

Larry

Title: The Musical Wizard
Theme Color: Blue
Theme Weapon: The Musical Spectre
Theme Instruments: Cellos
Theme Character: Dopey

Larry is the first group member revealed alongside Koopa White, and he's also the first ally she picks up in-universe, much to her chagrin. Larry comes from a planet full of wizardry and witchcraft. He carries a special spectre that's capable of producing magical songs, which is how Koopa White gets the idea to defeat her evil aunt through the power of music. Though he's a bit too lazy and inattentive to unlock the brunt of his full magical powers and use the spectre wisely, the other Koopalings soon warn up to him because of his sincerity and heart. The songs he leads often have a string motif.

Iggy

Title: The Guardian Shield

Theme Weapon: The Forrest Spectre

Theme Character: Bashful

Iggy comes from a green, lush planet that is overrun by the woods. His hair is just as green as his old job, and with the help of the Forrest Spectre, he protects all of his friends! However, when the Evil Queen almost destroys his home, Iggy decides to join forces with Koopa White in the fight against her. Despite all this, Iggy is calm and cool in the face of danger, and his deep timbre jever fails to disappoint.

Lemmy:

Title: The Joyous Commander

Theme Character: Happy

Lemmy, who hails from a planet that's basically just a big fucking circus where animals are tortured all the time (hell yeah!) is the most optimistic and hopeful member of Koopa Starship. In spite of his traumatic past, which involved being forced to jump into a Pinhara Plant's mouth too many times, he believes in true love and the chance at a better future, and he never fails to sing about the possibilities he sees for him in the days to come. Koopa White adores him for keeping the gang's spirits up in the fight against evil. He's a bit of a rockstar, because the songs he's most prominent in are all  pop rock! The Koopaling that's fun to be around.

Ludwig:

Title: The Fiery Mage

Ludwig is the brains of Kobra Starship. He comes from an educated planet of fire users, and he's not afraid to show it thanks to his funky flame-producing weapon he uses against various enemies. Though he was originally part of an enemy organization involved with the evil queen, he voluntarily joins Kobra Starship after decephering their movements. He's also skilled at playing the piano, and it shows in his songs!

Morton:

Title: The Cranky Assistant
Theme Color: Grey
Theme Weapon: The Giant Hammer

Theme Character: Grumpy

Morton is a Koopaling that the Koopa Starship picked up from a world where Koopas did nothing but labour all day to make precious metals and gold. As a result, Morton is very cranky that he is in the hands of desperate decisions yet again when he joins the war against the Evil Queen, and he only finds sollace in the fact that he's a very good performer, to everyone's surprise. He warms up to the rest of Koopa Starship after he understands that they're all fighting for justice! He never fails at percussion.

Wendy:

Title: The Timeless Sweetheart
Theme Color: Pink
Theme Weapon: The Rings of Destruction
Theme Instruments: Flutes
Theme Character: Sneezy

Wendy is in a unique position in Koopa Starship, because instead of coming from another planet, she comes from an unknown past! Picked up when Koopa White travels from the present into another more peaceful time, she ignores her personal safety in order to help Koopa Starship work for her nation, which gets taken over by the evil queen in Koopa White's future. She might act like a drama queen sometimes, but don't be fooled; she acts suprisingly intelligent! She's the only other girl in the group, and Koopa White has a small crush on her. Her songs use a lot of funky wind instruments.

Roy:

Title: The Laidback Deputy
Theme Color: Red
Theme Weapon: The Cannon of Dreams

Theme Character: Sleepy

Roy's legacy on his planet was known all over his old planet as the star-studded deputy who would wrangle any outlaw who would get in the way of justice! Now that he's aboard the starship, his days are a lot more quiet and has since deserved his rightful resting post. Hiding behind his iconic sunglasses, nobody really knows when he's awake or just day dreaming. He's always down for whatever adventures the gang is destined to go towards but he acts like a voice of reason whenever the situations arise. His songs have a more prominent bass sound to them, whether they're relaxing beats or loud jams!
