  10. Character Info:
  11. Mirage is a Faerie Dragon, a rare species of dragons that live in hidden areas among the world, lying in places untouched by other races where nature is strong, deep in forests, hidden oasis', and the like. Their reclusiveness and location away from civilized areas leads them to be seen as myth or fairy tales among the ponies and other races of the world. Their close ties to nature gives them strong magic over it, manifesting in strong nature magics rivaling the best of druids, or coming in the form of shaping the world itself to fit their desires.
  12. Mirage himself is an impish dragon with a carefree attitude, his relatively young age for his species leaving him with little to no responsibilities. Mirage tends to venture far out from his home in the grotto, traveling to the thinner areas of the woods where the ponies and other beings of the world tread. These odd looking creatures drew much of his focus, in curiosity and amusement. He would play with the creatures from afar, using his talent in mimicry to imitate sounds, either of other beings he heard before or of dangerous animals to give them a spook. Over time, more and more came to the forest to hear this ghost voice, unaware that it was a dragon fooling around with them. The new flood of ponies drew in Mirage more, never knowing all the variety of creatures that lived out there.
  13. Mirage spent most most of his time playing with the visitors, never being seen but still having fun all the same. When he would return home he would tell all the other dragon's about the four legged creatures and all the different kinds there are. With his enthusiasm about the outside world, the elder dragon's told him he should go out and explore, his ease in gaining the favor of those travels could aid him well in venture outside of the safety of the forest. With the elder's blessing, and a crystal of amber drawn from the tree he called home to keep his connection to nature, he ventured out of the forest for the first time, the wide open plains filling him with awe and excitement of what this outside world will provide.
