itching, typing, arms and legs
what a glorious set of stairs we make
climbing, growling, bend and break
what more from this realm could we all take
the burning blazing bracken hue
to know what could never be renewed
and broken along the bow we can't
hold up all these arrowheads
in the mud and forest rains
we held our skulls inside our brains
and from the harvest things we stole
were not going to be held anew
