Prime Cards

Prime cards
Rules of Prime cards:
- Prime cards are placed in the extra deck.
- Prime cards are activated or summoned by discarding a compatible spell or trap, and tributing the required material monsters from your side of the field.
- Activating Prime spells, or setting Prime traps means that the cards are "Primed".
- If a Prime card is destroyed after it has been successfully activated or summoned, it returns to the extra deck face-up.
- Prime cards that are face-up in the extra deck can be Primed by skipping your normal summon/set for this turn. Some Prime cards may have other requirements in addition.
- You can only Prime 1 Prime card each turn by skipping your normal summon/set.
- Face-up Prime monsters in your extra deck cannot be pendulum summoned.
- If a Prime card is destroyed or leaves the field after it has been successfully activated or summoned, it returns to the extra deck face-up.
- Prime monsters are Prime summoned to an extra monster zone on your side of the field.
- Prime spells cannot be set, and activate the moment they are Primed in the spell/trap zone or field zone.
    - Prime spells can be normal, continuous, equip or field spells.
- Prime traps cannot be activated the turn they are Primed, and are set face-down in your spell/trap zone.
    - Prime traps can be normal, counter or continuous traps.

EXAMPLE CARDS.

Prime Draw
Prime normal spell
1 spell card + 1 normal monster.
Pay 1000 LP, then draw 1 card.

Solemn Ruination
Prime counter trap
1 "Solemn" trap card + 1 Fairy monster
If your opponent would activate a card effect that destroys a card(s): you can pay 2000 LP; negate the activation of that card, and if you do, banish that card.

Gaia Prime, the Legendary Dragon Rider
Level 7
EARTH Warrior/Prime/Effect
2300 ATK 2100 ATK
1 equip spell + 2 normal and/or level 5 or higher monsters.
When this card is Prime summoned: you can target 1 card in the field, then apply the appropriate effect depending on what type of card it was
* Monster: destroy that monster, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's level x300.
*Monster summoned from the extra deck: Banish that monster, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's ATK.
* Spell/trap: shuffle that card into the deck.
You can only activate 1 of these effects of "Gaia Prime, the Legendary Dragon Rider" each turn, and only once that turn. If this card attacks a defense position monster: it gains 700 ATK and also inflicts piercing battle damage.
