A Crack in the Facade, An Overwhelming Presence

Looking over his children, Kirai dusts himself off and proceeds to bow to the three. "You all did very well, I'm impressed... Now, I really do need to go chop some woo-" And then, his thought was interrupted by Julius asking for a fight as well.

Kirai's gaze sliding over to stare at the boy, he frowns. Rather than actually answer the so-called bandit king, he simply flexes and in doing so seems to send out a ripple of power from him, imposing his will on the world around him. The air would seem thicker... heavier... Hard to breath through.

Everyone around him might find themselves suddenly feeling a sense of suffocation, as if they were deep under water, being crushed by the pressure of the ocean all around them and every gulp for air only leaving them more breathless.

That feeling would fade after but a moment, but in that moment it was likely that those near Kirai would be driven to their knees. "No, I don't think I'll behumoring you today little Bandit King. But do feel free to come to the tournament at the end of the year if you truly wish to learn the art of Kageken."

[21:16] Julius asks, "...So the tournament is what I gotta win to get taught by you?"
[21:16] Julius says, "Consider it over."
[21:19] Holly Hargrave says, "<<Well. I suppose I need to tend to things for my business.>>"
[21:22] Would kneel to the ground feeling her lungs getting a lack of air while her body felt crushed under some sort of pressure. Albeit, she knew this was her Uncle's power and would only glance at the individual who caused his action.

But as it went away, she'd take a large inhale and get up. "I'm going to take a bit of a rest after that and probably go out to practice on a few trees."

The eerily long pause of silence after Julius's bold proclamation of 'consider it over' caused a tension only further heightened by Kirai's outflux of power. At first it might have seemed as though Julius had given a bold; commanding response that broke through the magical influence Kirai output.

Something that the elder knew better than to believe in at heart, surely.

From the moment this had started; Julius hadn't breathed a single breath. The silence that permeated the dojo. The lack of motion. The deadness. He was giving face to a crowd that could see right through it - and the moment the pressure in his lungs is too much it becomes obvious that it was all for show.

Julius slowly tilts backwards right on his heel, and falls straight back and slams onto the dojo's floor with his arms still crossed, his eyes still open and his lips still smirking. Like a statue toppled over in one piece.

[21:24] Yami has awakened, he was knocked out wondering what was going on. Seems his father was up to something else and Kieran was knocked out cold. He looks to his brother and asks some simple questions.

"What did I miss, and what are we about to do?"

He asked calmly still yawning and stretching out.

The young boy looks to the left and to the right and then wonders.. did anyone need healing from their father beating them up or were they all alright? He asked momentarily, if they didn't need any help, he'd just throw his hands up and yawn.

"Anyone need to be healed?"

[21:26] After she mustered up her strength feeling better again. She saw that Father was about to go and choke some wood till Julius asked for a spar but...it was very clear that Kirai was in no mood to for another battle he just wanted to gather up some wood for the clan.

"O-oh no.." That feeling once again...she could feel it. The air growing in size filling the airs with heavy thick coated amounts of energy that felt like waters pouring into you're lungs. It was immensely hard to breath just standing around him making that other fight seem like he was holding back.

"P-powerful..." holding onto her neck tightly still admiring Kirai the beast of the flowing waters stand his ground. "I-illusion…"

She backed up a few steps over reaction without even thinking. Looking over at Himari watching her kneel but quickly picked herself back up.

Her gaze shifted over to see that the bandit king froze up from his presence and fell over onto the dojo's floors.

"Y-yea lets just cut wood or something.."

[21:27] That suffocating presence, Hebi knew that, maybe only once had he seen that in the past. Julius had disrespected Kirai, that was unavoidable, especially as he had caused trouble a short time ago.

Hebi's expression turns serious, it's hard to keep air in his lungs, but he holds on tight enough, in a blink he dashes toward Julius like a snake crawling in the shadows and uses the full length of his arm to push Julius out of the dojo by strenght.

Since he was on his knees due to Kirai's pressure this should be easier than usual.

"YoU... CoMe wItH Me." The snake said in his strange trembling voice.

[21:30] Sighing, he nods to Aki. "Yes, we need to get wood to build the family home. The Dojo is large, but not suited for us to live in and I'm sure you girls would like to have some privacy. You are getting to be that age, afterall." He'd say, before simply walking over towards the door.

It was time to execute trees, with prejudice.

[21:30] Sometime after hitting the floor, Julius gasps forth another breath- shaking himself back to normalcy! "Guah!" He... didn't really understand what had happened; nor did he really want to try to explain it to any of the people in his 'hundred man army'.

"W- Hey wait a second!"

He's dragged out of the dojo by Hebi, and he doesn't exactly make a fighting show of resistance in the moment. The mans strange mannerisms and the fact that he was leading him AWAY from Kirai made him a little agreeable right now.

[21:30] Recka snaps back into it refocusing in on Julius as he said:

[21:32] Kageken..? Tournament? Right, that stuff did exist. Akira hadn't even gotten a good grip on the basics, the idea of people fighting to learn his families technique was odd. He hadn't quite realized it yet. What he was apart of, where he was from. It was still foreign, he was trapped in a kids place and it was best things stayed this way. For him at least.

The tone of the situation took a very dark turn with the clash between Julius and Kirai. Although there wasn't much physical damage clearly something had occurred. The Kurokaiyo could feel just how odd tings have gotten.

He noticed Hebi moving in on Julius, being who he is he rushed behind the two...

For both of their sakes...

Julius is a mad man, and also a friend. If anything crazy were to happen Akira would end up double sad as it would've involved his own blood and someone he likes! Crazy. "W- Wait up!"

[21:34] Vytal stretches, he looks to where the master was previously and his eyes were already narrow enough so he didn't narrow them any further. He started to feel that exertion of power upon him and he attempted to fight it's influence but that really only worsened his own ego before he attempts to hold his breath instead for the remaining portion of it or something.... He couldn't really fight it so, he had to attempt to withstand it.

He knows this kind of effect, he's felt it before... He just wanted to try fighting it once but it would be a damn long way before he could just withstand that. He flinched around the end of it before he took a step back to back down from it all.

"S-shit." He coughs for a second.

He looked to the others, and looked at Julius... It was weird how he just feel out like that, Vytal didn't exactly have the best moment at first but it was an interesting response nonetheless.

"I need to catchmy breath, guys... That sucked."

[21:41] Hebi drags Julius out of the dojo with his arm around the neck using the strenght and extension of his arm, a more efficient technique for manipulating an opponent the snake was training.

Julius is then thrown into the grass near the lakeside and then crosses his arms, staring at him with an angry face.

"DiSrESpEcTfUl, NeVer dO tHaT AGaiN." He said, struggling to speak.

It was night and the shadows covered the place, with only a few light sources around the dojo.

[21:44] "D-Disrespectful?!" Julius sputters, rolling in the grass and sitting upright to face the strange snake. He was a bit exhausted, and didn't seem to be rearing to fight. But he was also baffled at the concept that anything he had done was wrong.

"I was bein' honest with him, as can be! He wants people that have talent, I got talent. You just don't like the fact that I don't have shoes like you."
