Im Raijin, a 19 soon to be 20 (3-4months whatever you consider, soon right?) years old interested and eager to learn more (video!?) editor. I started back in 2014 with editing memes within the friend group I was in back then. just to you know... mess around, it was new to me and I had nothing better to do so why not right? I looked up some youtube videos to see what software would be a good base to start with. After effects, it was. so yes, time passed by and it was 2k15 still editing memes and videos of friends being weird for no reason. I just happened to be making it a bit funnier than it was. very depressing tbh, looking back at it now. I wasted alot of time when i could have used it to actually get more into it. but the thing was that I wasn’t really interested in video editing itself that time. Kind of faded out and not conscious. nothing in life was interesting to me, i was just simply looking at the ceiling the whole time waiting for time to pass by and live in a vague/false reality. anyways, towards the end of 2k15 entering 2k16, I decided to take editing more serious and started messing around in the community I am in now. call it whatever you want, I don’t have a name for it. before i took editing serious i did some console edits, i met great people throughout it and decided to step the game a bit more up. one suggested me the pc community and i gave it a try. I slowly but surely learned the ways of editing pc since i had trouble with motivation. Since it was different from what i was used to. I released my first pc edit in 2k17, yes actually crazy it took me so long to start doing. but like i said, i was drooling around. for anyone wondering. or curious. this is my first official pc edit i did in 2-3 days’ time. since my console ones don’t matter. I mean at least to the team I am apping...

I happened to be becoming very interested in dynamic arts since a lot i met thru the pc community said DA had very extreme rules to join, which I disagreed with. nowadays i feel like a lot of team’s lack dedication and interest towards the team. its very important to have a good communication with the team you’re in and branch it out more. being in 3 or 4 teams doesn’t show your dedication towards one when there’s 3 other intros in the same edit. which is the reason I like DA.
I am interested in any kinds of style and I appreciate everything. I always dig into the meaning of a certain picture that’s been made or video. yes, also within game editing. I consider myself not here most of the time.
