  1. Welcome to SOMALIA's team compilation. Here you can find teams to help you start your dpp adventure. Be sure to start building your teams once you get a hang of the dpp ou metagame, these teams are just to help one get started.
  2.
  3. [TEAM 1]
  4.
  5. This team is responsible for the new-found rise of Choice Band Infernape which seen a decline after 2010. One thing to understand is priorities of the team, once you make your own teams you will be able to create those for yourself and play accordingly. However I see that when alot of new players take good teams for known players, they lack the intrict details to play it with success.
  6.
  7. For instance, I always ALWAYS hydro lead Zapdos and Machamp as they are huge annoyances to the team. You got banded ape SOMALIA, why all the fuss when it can just demolish them with blitz? Well, hiding your key team members especially your sweepers for as long as possible allows you to put more pressure on the opponent, they will be on the back foot guessing and conserving appropriate answers to the potential "late game sweeper" depending on their interpretation of your team.

  456.
  457. This team is a stall team which revolves around the solid core of Celebi / Gyarados / Heatran. The team was made over a year ago however works well to this day by tweaking a few sets. Hippowdon while lacking a phasing attack wards of the popular mixed Dragonite and handles Gengar to a certain degree. It can live 2 Fire Blasts from scarf heatran which helps in the long run. Combine this with Rotom-W as a spinblocker to prevent losing precious hazards + acting as a revenge killer + stall crippler with trick, it is very hard to break this team especially when played more offensively. Ensure that stealth rocks are got up as soon as possible, bait out any trappers the opponent may have in the early stages of game, as this makes playing around them later alot easier. Never ever bring rotom-w into the first rapid spin attempt* (assuming starmie comes in on hippowdon as it gets rocks, don't go to rotom, instead go to celebi). Lategame sweepers include Lucario, Metagross, Empoleon, Zapdos, Infernape, Flygon, Dragonite and Tyranitar to name a few thus keeping Hippowdon and Gyarados in good shape is vital. The most expendable member of the team is Celebi especially once the opposing water-type is gone. Heatran helps scout choiced users which avoid having to predict and making a messy situation. Forretress should be played not as conservative as Hippowdon; it is important to know when to play offensively and force hazards down to force the opponent to switch-in their own spinner. Doing so not only weakens it due to sandstorm + hazard damage but eventaully your opponent wil most likely just end up spinning in exchange for you killing with celebi or another Pokemon (very common for them to spin on Hippo and me ending them with an eq, this not only makes it easier for me now as I can move Gyarados and Hippowdon more freely, but I currently brought out the Pokemon which can get rocks up again thus forcing them to bring a Grass type or a Ghost-type, allowing Heatran to come in and take advantage. All the Pokemon in the team lure something that benefits other members so it is crucial to take advantage of this). Rotom-W is to be played with care, avoid bringing it on life orb starmie predicting a spin if you only have stealth rock or one layer of spikes down as it isnt worth it.
