  1. Pokemon Let's Go Eevee Any% (2 Controllers) FAQ
  2.
  3. Q: What are you trying to do?
  4. A: Beat Pokemon Let's Go with 2 controllers as quickly as possible
  5.
  6. Q: What are you playing on?
  7. A: My Nintendo Switch
  8.
  9. Q: Why are you using 2 controllers?
  10. A: It gives a stupid amount of benefits to use 2 controllers. Not only can you bully trainers with 2 vs. 1 fights, but you also get an insane amount of extra Exp from catching Pokemon with 2 controllers; making this very different from using 1 controller.
  11.
  12. Q: Why do you have a Pokedex counter at the bottom of your screen?
  13. A: One of the requirements for a gym is to catch 50 individual Pokemon. I use this to keep track of how close I am.
  14.
  15. Q: So who are the main Pokemon you use?
  16. A: As of right now, Eevee and Bellsprout make for a great early game combination. Eventually Bellsprout will be switched out for a Rhyhorn that we ride on, then we rush to catch a Starmie and revive Aerodactyl to fill in our party for the late game sections.
  17.
  18. Q: I've heard about the Fossil Pokemon Kabutops being used for the speedrun, but why do you use Starmie and Aerodactyl instead?
  19. A: I believe them to be faster. Not only does Starmie have amazing Special attack and speed, but it also has amazing coverage and you can easily get it at level 43. It also turns out that the things Starmie can't deal with Aerodactyl can deal with ease.
  20.
  21. Q: Wait...you're doing Blaine as your 3rd gym leader...? How is that even possible?!
  22. A: One of the amazing features of this game is the order in which you can fight gyms. Gym's 3-7 can be fought in any order you want since "HM's" can be used and received without gym requirements.
  23.
  24. Q: Why do you do Blaine 3rd and delay the rest of the gym leaders?
  25. A: Because it's just faster. Eevee can handle some of these fights on it's own (like Surge and Erika) but this requires some extra setup. Since we can get Starmie so Early
  26.
  27. Q: Which version is faster?
  28. A: Let's Go Eevee is looking much faster, as Eevee handles fights on it's own with ease with it's insane movepool of special moves. Pikachu struggles a lot and needs heavy support from a secondary Pokemon to excel in many fights.
  29.
  30. Q: Who has World Record?
  31. A: The current World Record for Any% 2 controllers is 3:37:50 by me
