The white spikes lined up on it must have been teeth. The face opened its mouth wide, throwing the worshipers inside. The sound of crunching from within caused a number of the children to collapse. It was hard to imagine any of them staying sane after seeing such a spectacle.

As it devoured the adults, the darkness grew steadily larger.
