- For whoever comes after:
- We've long held taboos in writing down things. Anything that couldn't be passed on by word of mouth wasn't meant to be passed on at all - that's what father said. Then his mother, and his mother's father, and so on. Storytelling became something of a tradition for us this way. I loved the stories. I hated not knowing the truth. Traditions, just like laws and rules, should be broken if they no longer serve us.
- And so I'm writing this.
