- Input: Steam, 1,312,000 mB/t
- Output: Water, 1,312,000 mB/t
- Generates: 30,000,000+ RF/t
- Notes:
- - Evap towers don't need sunlight or solar panels,
- use resistive heaters instead, set to 500 RF/tick.
- Input heat through a valve block
- - Neutron Activator needs direct sky, can be through glass
- - Laser Initiator should be charged when needed, then
- turned off. It is a big power drain.
- - Fusion Reactor is set to 36 mB/t injection rate
- - Mekanism Pipe Throughput depends on the number of segments,
- Ultimate pipes are 64,000 mB/t/pipe. It takes 21 pipes
- to achieve 1,312,000 mB/t. This is needed for both steam and
- return water.
- - Turbine construction:
- Base: 7x7 Casing
- All edges: Casing
- Sides: 8x5 Structural glass, except for 2 valves,
- Above that, 3x5 Vents
- Top: 5x5 Vents
- Interior:
- Layers 1-8: 8 Turbine Rotor, stack in center
- 16 Turbine Blades, right click on rotor
- Layer 9: 1 Rotational Matrix, in center
- 24 Pressure Dispersers
- Layer 10: 9 Electromagnetic coils, 3x3 in center
- 16 Saturating Condenser, in ring around coils
- Layer 11: 25 Saturating Condenser
- - System Limiting factor is number of saturating condensers,
- controlling the return water flow rate, but it is pretty close to the
- limit of the turbine vents, and about 90% of the limit of the
- brine/lithium production.
- - The neutron activator only works during the day, but am
- ultimate gas tank easily buffers through the night, and the
- activator can catch up pretty quickly. It may be possible
- to run out if there is a long enough sequence of rain/night
- that prevents the activator from running.
- - Use Advanced pipe instead of Ultimate for filling the steam loop,
- and set the pipes to pull from the pumps actively. This prevents
- an annoying flicker.
- - The entire balance-of-plant power usage comes to 6,800 RF/t, plus
- 160kRF/t for charging the lasers. Basic universal cable is enough
- to handle this.
- - Extracting 30MRF/t requires 235 Ultimate cables, or a direct
- connection to Draconic or Flux Network (Draconic must be a single
- hop, or an energy pylon directly attached to the turbine)
- - Beware that lasers may come pre-charged, and can immediately start
- destroying blocks and/or damaging the player when they are placed.
