- Batman vs. Batman who Laughs
- Batman wins. It’s extremely questionable to me if Batman who Laughs offense can hurt Batman in this setting. If BWL has a speed advantage, it isn’t one so notable that Batman can’t keep up or won’t land hits, and Batman seems to be spoiled for ways to OHKO/ kill BWL, as well as having several clear advantages (skill, the knowledge of a weakness of BWL’s, etc) to ensure this victory.
- Shang Chi vs. Mysterio
- Shang Chi wins. It became clear pretty early in the match that only Mysterio’s electric attacks would be able to meaningfully incap Shang Chi, and that Shang would overwhelm Mysterio quickly in H2H. Ame pretty succinctly proved to me that Mysterio opening with electricity is not an in character action. Overall, i think Shang pretty much hard counters Mysterio’s gimmicks, and the speed advantage+ physicals advantage he has makes him too hard an obstacle for Mysterio to beat.
- Azrael vs. Nightwing
- Az wins. Embrace opened up with a pretty hyper specific set of win cons for Nightwing, which Ame turned around pretty easily by pointing out that even if NW opens with ranged attacks, he doesn’t have unlimited ammo and will inevitably have to give Az time to draw his sword. This was compounded by a pretty nice slew of scans of Az just being directly superior to Nightwing and consistently beating him in fights. Embrace tried to shift the attention away from this to a lack of objective feats on Az’s part, but it overwhelmingly just seems to be a canonical fact that Nightwing loses to Azrael.
