Donny's first lesson in getting stronger

[12:53] Zexelis nodded as Donny spoke of being bored, he was a bit bored himself, waiting for his plants to grow and watering them. The only things he had to do at the moment were tend to his shops and train other than that, and training was no fun alone. Just then, Donny spoke of the training Zex said he would do with him, to which Zexelis nodded.

"Sure, I just have to run a few errands, because I'm actually getting some things together for the youth of the tribe like you. Would you like to come with?"

[13:22] Zexelis gladly takes the metals Donny gave, and this time he actually had thirty pieces of steel, so Zex got paid back for the gauntlets after all, and then some!

Zexelis brews a few strength boosters, giving them to Donny. "Drink these up, they make you a bit stronger, forever! They have stuff in them that will make your muscles react and become more solid, like a rock!" He tapped on the boy's bicep with his finger for emphasis while he spoke, for emphasis of course.

[13:29] He would watch closely as he threw a bunch of things into a cauldron- a plant, a shiny rock, and some dingy rocks, Donny didn't know what any of them were, but if they made him stronger? Hell he'd drink whatever.

He'd furrow his brows as he looked at the bottles, he could become as hard as a rock? He could be stronger? That's all he needed to knock back the vials without hesitation, it tasted like dirt with a twang.

However, he could feel it, even with the handful of vials he drank, there was a rush as he felt his muscles swell, an ache settling in them as if he had just finished working out- however he was too energized to let that stop him.

He'd go to slam the vial on the floor, letting it shatter- but he would stop himself, instead handing it back to Zexelis, he didn't want to make a mess- plus he also wasn't wearing shoes.

"GIMME MORE, I NEED TA BE DE STRONGEST, RAAAAHH" He'd throw his head back as he'd roar out, fully pumped up and itching for a fight- or training.

[13:36] Zexelis smiled as Donny downed the boosters, and even stopped himself from getting overexcited. Zexelis took the bottles and put them away for now, probably for future use. "We'll make you ones to make you faster later, too. I still have some of those to give your brother as well."

Zexelis seemed to make sure everything was closed and locked tight, ward runes glowing on almost every container in the house, and even the house itself. "Alright, since you're so pumped, what do you say we go for a training session or two in the field for a bit?"

[13:36] Donny Brooks says, "HELL YAH"
[13:36] Zexelis exclaims, "Let's go then!"
[13:44] Zexelis led the way to the fields, locking his house up behind them as they hurried off. Soon enough, Zexelis and Donny were running alongside one another to the field, Zexelis finding himself a bit pumped to train as well. Once they arrived, Zexelis spaced himself a bit from the boy and began to remove most of his armor.

Removing his gauntlets as well, Zexelis set his things off to the side so he and the boy were on "equal terms". It turned out, under all that armor, Zexelis was wearing a Gi just like the one he gave Donny! "I suggest you wear that gi I gave you like I am. My punches are gonna hurt, a lot. Let's have a short spar or two, just to see how you fight now."

Zexelis didn't activate any aura, but he assumed the ifrit stance as his poise seemed near unbreakable. "You may make the first move."

[13:53] The shorter boy was practically running to the sparring fields, his feet digging into the ground as he came to a skidding stop as he stood opposite of his teacher.

He looked physically confused at the mention of the gi- however, Zexelis was wearing one already! He'd begin to untie his "headband" and unroll it as he looked at the fabric- was such a thing really that strong? A piece of cloth on his torso? Donny didn't believe it, but he would put it on regardless.

If Donny was going to get the first move, he was going to make sure he made it count. He'd begin stretching and flexing, punching rocks was a great warm up, fire would actually begin sparking from him as he jumped straight up in the air, going as straight as rod before sinking into the ground until there was nothing sticking out but his afro.

After a moment a molten hand would rise from the ground, followed by another, as the boy climbed out of the ground clad in molten rock as he took an aggressive stance. He was ready, and with that, he'd rush forward in a very broadcasted style that anyone could see coming.

[14:26] Zexelis raised a brow as the boy seemed to get himself more pumped up, soon encasing himself in an aura of magma. That was something quite interesting, Zexelis actually wondered how effective that was. Soon enough, Donny came rushing at him with a very reckless style, that of inexperience.

Zexelis would full-on take the blows that Donny would first dish out, promptly returning his own powerful blows. Zexelis didn't exactly apply all of his skills to this spar, but what kind of teacher would he be to reveal all of his tricks on their first spar? Still, he scaled Donny's strength as they exchanged blows and seemed to slightly escalate the intensity of his power.

Being hit by blows and waves of magma, Zexelis would mysteriously seem to repel magma from sticking to him. It would likely be noticed as Zexelis battled, he had a strange heat coming from him, probably readable as the fact he was a fire magus. However, Zexelis seemed to smile for near the entire fight, already having some pride in his student.

Once it came to the end though, Donny was sent to the ground with a strong flurry of multiple attacks. Zexelis gave him some space to get up, giving a nod in his direction. "You're the first kid to give me that much trouble in a spar with your bare hands. I'll keep training you, and you can bring your brother if you want, I wouldn't mind training him too. You did a pretty good job as far as power goes, but you need some work in the department of techniques."

Zexelis didn't bother offering him a hand, he figured it a disrespect to think a warrior couldn't get to his own feet.

[14:46] He was savage and inexperienced, clearly the way he fought was more like two brothers would when they were aggravated with one another and wanted to kill the other.

He swung wildly, leaving himself open, but he was always quick enough to trade a shot, recoiling with every blow the much more experienced warrior threw at him, but he never stood down.

Donny used everything in his arsenal, wild punches, crazy kicks that uprooted the field and left it charred with magma, even at certain points if he could get his hands on Zexelis, he'd try to grapple and bite him.

The afro savage was too in the zone trying to pummel his teacher to note his use of magics to keep himself from having the magma stick to him- all he cared about was punching him hard enough he fell over.

However, feeling a punch to the knee, another in his shoulder, and finally one across the jaw, Donny would go spiraling to the ground, dirt and magma flying off him as he was left in his gi and shorts.

Sitting up, he'd wipe some blood from his lip with a big grin, defeated so easily was frustrating, however, Zexelis was still willing to teach him, even acknowledging the strength in the young ruffian. "A'll get ya one of these days, Boss, but till I get big and bulgin'? I tank ye for de lessons. I promise and and Brudda Boulder won't disappoint!" And then he'd stand, cracking his neck and knuckles a few times.
