Reporter: So, what made you take on this role in the war?

Nichols:  Well let me start by saying that we didn't choose this war, this war chose us.

Reporter: Are you telling me that you had no part in this massacre?

Nichols: Absolutely not. The only mistake we made was not hitting them harder, sooner.

Reporter: And can you tell me what the casualties are like?

Nichols: Well unfortunately there are always casualties in war.  Shrapnel, burns, just trauma in general.  It's not pretty.

Reporter: How about the mental state of the soldiers?

Nichols: And what are those interests?

Nichols: I'm not at liberty to say.

Reporter:  How do you intend on ending this fight?

Nichols: With steel [dramatic pause] and lead.
