Dad will be okay

Alexithymiaa: -Brad was completely pooped from filming all weekend with Anna, happy to finally be back home and in his pajamas for the evening because it had been three very long days for him. He'd been on set at five this morning so he'd be able to get back to Portland at a reasonable hour, but the few days before that, they'd been on set for about sixteen hours a day. He was sitting on the floor with his back propped against the pillow behind him, struggling to keep his eyes open.-
Covet: Kelsey had gotten Connor to bed fairly early on into the night and had been preparing Brad a bedtime snack because she knew he'd had a long weekend, and this was partially for herself as well. But mostly for him. She was walking down the hall still in her apron and sparkly festive bra and panty set, but over the top with hat and heels of course too. On a plate in one hand was some warm fresh sugar free ginger bread with cream cheese icing and in the other a frosty glass of milk, because of course this broad is going over the top. She got to the door and gave it a bit of a kick with her foot. "Knock knock." She called out as well.
Alexithymiaa: -He snapped to attention after his head had been dipping a dosing off, not paying any mind to the fact that he'd turned the tv on and didnt even know what was playing at this point. When he finally realized Kelsey had been knocking, he cleared his throat. "Yeah?"-
Covet: "Can you come get the door for me, please. My hands are a little full." She said biting her lip as she stood there, excited to surprise him.
Alexithymiaa: -He grumbled as he stood up, not excited to actually have to get up, but he wasnt about to complain to her about that because it was such a petty thing and he knew she'd be annoyed with him for being so lazy. Dragging himself across the room, he pulled the door open for her, looking down at her hands. "You brought me cookies?" He asked with a cheerful grin.-
Covet: "No, I brought you soft gingerbread, Like pumpkin bread but no pumpkin and with ginger." She said as if it needed that level of explaining. "Thank you for getting the door, That's all I intend to ask of you, you can relax again." She said making her way into the room to show off her sparkly ass and legs for days.
Alexithymiaa: "Does it matter what it is?" He asked as he took the plate and the milk from her, turning to walk back to his spot on the floor with the pillow and start digging in. "I'm just going to hope I don't fall asleep in this." He said before checking her out. "Did you bake in that?"-
Covet: "No, I only iced in this." Kelsey said with a laugh. She set his glass of milk close enough to him. " Well... if it's going to be that much of a struggle I can always help keep you awake until it's all finished."
Alexithymiaa: "And how exactly do you intend to do that?" He asked her, picking up some of the gingerbread to take a bite.-
Covet: She looked at him then went to sit down with him on the giant pillow straddling his lap. "Oh I'm sure I can figure out something. And just think, you don't even have to do anything but lay there." Kelsey said. "How was work this weekend?"
Alexithymiaa: "My favorite kind of activity." He said with a grin, taking another bite of his gingerbread and setting the plate down on the floor. "It was crazy. I think we got good stuff though."-
Covet: Kelsey rolled her eyes a little at him. "Well You've earned it tonight." She told him, "Plus, I got some good news over the weekend, that's going to fit in well with the plans coming up." Kelsey said with a grin and a bit of a bounce.

Alexithymiaa: "Oh yeah? What kind of good news?" He asked her, his face lighting up as he watched her boobs.-

Covet: Well, you know how last year I really wanted to sing at time square for New Year's?" She asked him.
Alexithymiaa: -He raised his brows at her, his brain taking a few seconds longer to catch up because he was tired. "Did they....." He trailed off, anticipating her little announcement.-
Covet: "They totally did!" She said with a grin bouncing even more. "And of course I said yes, But... I figured we could all go, Mom and Dad and Haven too. Then when you all go home, I'll stay back and do my thing, and I can be back before the next semester starts."
Alexithymiaa: -He wrapped his arms around her back, giving her a tight squeeze. "I'm so proud of you. I knew they were going to ask you, it was just a matter of time when that invite rolled in. What are you going to sing?"-
Covet: "Something Holidayesque, probably and then something off the new album." Kelsey told him, giving him a squeeze back. "Thank you. It feels awesome."
Alexithymiaa: "What kind of holiday song though? Something classic or something new?" He asked, starting to get excited with her.-
Covet: "Hmm, I don't know. My heat says Classic, but there's so much newer stuff out there too." Kelsey said.
Alexithymiaa: "You could always go classic and make your own different style arrangement. We can do it together." He said with a smile, leaning in to kiss her cheek.-
Covet: "We could, unless you think that violates the work/ relationship agreement." Kelsey said leaning into his kiss.
Alexithymiaa: "I don't know, that was your agreement, not mine. Besides, wouldn't it be fun?"-
Covet: "Yeah, it would be. And it's not like it's a major project like a whole video or anything." Kelsey said with a shrug.
Alexithymiaa: "Exactly. It'll be fine." He said with a nod, trying to sort of justify this like it wasnt a rule they set anyways. "So you just tell me which song you want to do, and we'll get to work on it."-
Covet: "Okay I'll think about it." Kelsey said then looked down at him, then gave a bit of a sigh. "Mom called today."
Alexithymiaa: -He watched her face change, waiting a beat before asking. "What did she say?"-
Covet: "The medication Dad's on has been making him pretty sick. She was pretty sad about it. I told her that he was strong and he'd hold in there." Kelsey said taking a deep breath.
Alexithymiaa: "That's normal though, right? The doctors say that it's a common side effect? I know it's tough to go through, but that just means his body is reacting to it, right?" He knew so little about medical things so he was sort of just praying in his head that's what everything means.-
Covet: "Yeah, it is. It's just strange to think about because I can't remember my Dad ever being sick." Kelsey said.
Alexithymiaa: "Well yeah, it's not exactly a natural kind of sick. It has nothing to do with his immune system." He said gently, rubbing his hand over her arm.-
Covet: "Not yet anways" Kelsey said. "Hopefully this doesn't keep him too weak for too long. He's got this." She said taking a deep breath and forced a smile on her lips. "Positive thinking right?"
Alexithymiaa: "Right. He's got this. All positive thinking. He's a good healthy person and he's not old and he's too stubborn to let something like this beat him. If anyone can make it through this, he can." He said with a forced smile on his faace because he didnt fully have confidence in his own words.-
Covet: "Right. If you're done with your bedtime snack... I think.. some distraction before bed would be nice." She told him taking his plate from him anyways before getting all up in his business with the taking over of the sex things because he was tired.
