"Geez. You sure do jump to worst case scenarios fast. Let's just get this over with."

Ismark:
The wide doors open to reveal a 10 foot wide, 20 foot long hall leading to a brightly lit chapel. The hall is unlit and utterly reeks of mildew.

Ismark:
Four doors, two on each side, lead to adjacent chambers as you can see.

Tarron:
"Z-zombie?? Do not make jest of such things! The dead should remain dead!"

Alise:
"It's sort of hard to help when all of our experiences here have been death house..."

Ismark:
Anyway, you can see that the chapel is strewn with debris, and from up ahead, you hear a soft voice from within reciting a prayer.....

Tarron:
"Unless they are brought back to life in which case that no longer holds! Erm...but zombies do not count!"

Ismark:
But suddenly, the prayer is blotted out by an utterly inhuman "KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" that rises up from beneath the wooden floor.

Donavich:
Of course, this doesn't really deter the man from continuing to recite his prayers.

Gillian:
"You're right on that mu- whaaat was that?"

Alise:
"W-...what was that?!"

Tarron:

Gillian:
Gillian draws his lance and runs into the chapel

Alise scampers in after Gillian.

"Hey, buddy! What's going on in here?"

Donavich:
The Chapel you run to is a shambles, with overturned and broken pews littering the dusty floor. Dozens of candles and candelabras light every dusty corner in a feverent attempt to rid the chapel of shadows. Next to the kneeling priest in soiled vestments hangs a long, thick rope that stretches into the bell tower.

Donavich:
The man tries to continue his prayer before the sharp scream rises up again. "KRAAAAAAAAAAUGH! FATHER! I'M STARVING!" The voice of a young man yells in desperation.

Alise:
Alise scoots closer to Gillian, "W-...what's going on here...?"

Donavich:
Of course, this still doesn't break the deeply concentrated priest from focusing on his prayers.

Ismark:
"I...I'd try to stay back if I were to be safe. It seems the guy hasn't even noticed our presence..."

Gillian:
Gillian roughly shakes Donavich's shoulder. "Hey, are you deaf or something?! What are you doing?"

Gillian:

Tarron:
Tarron warily inches forward, "E-erm...I am in the agreeance with Ismark! Oh, it pains me to see such a holy place so distraught.."

Alise:
"Master...maybe you should..."

Donavich:
Donavich's frustration gets the better of him, and he furiously turns back and yells "WHAT!?" It's now obvious he was simply trying to ignore your presence instead of being simply ignorant of it. "What the hell do you want from me?"

Donavich:
"Ah, ah, no...I slipped up..." Donavich does a 3 point prayer to himself for the outburst.

Tarron:
"How...unpriestly! But finally, a sign of life... Other than the...screaming..."

Gillian:
"Oh, good, you're NOT under some evil spell. Guess that's two silver wasted." Gillian looks around the room, then back to the party. "Well, we CAME here to help bury a body, but then... this. All of this. Are you keeping someone here?!"

Donavich:
"...." Donavich looks visibly frustrated. "Is this some kind of joke? Of course I'm keeping someone here. If you're to excuse me, if you don't have any services to ask of, please leave me back to my prayers."

"Grrrr...don't get wise with me. If you have a body that needs burying uh....just leave it in the hall. I'll get to it in a moment."

Gillian:
"You're going to sit there and pray instead of feeding your kid?!"

Tarron:
"Ah...Gillian..."

"Father is what preachers are known as..."

Tarron:
"I would be a sister!"

Gillian:
"Oh. Right. Doesn't change much!"

Donavich:
"Feeding my so-" Donavich chuckles to himself, but more of the morbid "how do I even respond to this" kind of chuckle. "Do you even know- Of course I'm not gonna feed my son! I'm not gonna sacrifice somebody's life for that!"
