45. A mismatched team of British Special Services agents led by an American must infiltrate, in disguise, a female-run Enigma factory in Berlin and bring back the decoding device that will end the war.
 46. Late in World War II, the Brits still want their hands on a German Enigma, the typewriter-like machine that constructs and sends coded messages. Parachuting behind enemy lines - with two days to find the factory where Enigmas are made, grab one, and get out - are an unlikely quartet: a queen, a pencil pusher, a bookworm, and an almost secret agent. Plus they are all dressed as women, with only a crash course from the queen. They reach their destination, rendezvous with their German contact, a lovely librarian, and start their search. They seemed doomed to fail; is this a fool's errand?
 47. This film is worth seeing for some very simple reasons.

In this WWII movie Germans speak German throughout the movie. They only speak English when they capture English people. ...Which doesn't happen very often.

All the people in the movie who speak German do so very well, good casting of Germans to play Germans and English speaking for English speaking roles.

All German sequences are not translated into English using part of the screen.

Despite all the flak (pun intended) Matt LeBlanc does play well throughout the movie, and the bunch of people in their silly roles makes sense in the last 10 minutes of the movie, but it is rather comical until then. Enjoy it.

Despite many details about life in Berlin at the end of WWII the movie has a major drawback, the reason for the silly outfit only becomes apparent at the end and if you leave before the end you will not think of it as such a great movie. I find it difficult to change the plot to suit people who would leave their seat midway, but after 25 minutes you really should stay. For the WWII film buffs out there are most likely a few oversights, but on the whole I enjoyed the movie on its own set of details.

I expected a movie like this with LeBlanc to be a comedy, with a few minor plot changes and LeBlanc and his supports replaced with female ditto it would have earned a 9. I gave it 8 because it is a comedy which has all the details to pull off a straight drama but fails to deliver 100% on that account.
 48. Despite being technically proficient and featuring some good performances (notably from comic actor Eddie Izzard) this film is a dud. Why? Because the writer and director couldn't decide whether they were making a comedy or a drama.

The amusingly contrived tank chase at the beginning of the film should have set the scene for a moderately black comedy, but somewhere along the way someone decided that the reality of war should be portrayed. With Matt LeBlanc playing THE MOST UNCONVINCING CROSS DRESSER IN THE HISTORY OF CINEMA? What were they thinking?

You can hear the gears clashing as scene-by-scene, we are jolted from half-baked comedy to unconvincing sentimentality. The final unconvincing, violent and desperate scenes where the team of crack drag commandos hijack a plane to get out of Germany set the seal on this straight-to-video nasty.
 49. It's not surprising to learn that the story -- which the press notes assert is loosely based on fact -- has been kicking around Hollywood for 15 years. It's that bad.
