- Dereliction HH Builds
- -------------
- For raw damage
- --------------
- But this is a strong contender for best raw set (excluding stuff that are hard may be too hard to use like Dereliction + bloodlust).
- Full Archfiend armor, swap out waist for Rathalos/Utsushi/Channeler,
- https://mhrise.wiki-db.com/sim/?hl=en <-- use this to figure out the best build with the charms you have, remember to add slots from weapons.
- Add
- - Weakness exploit 3
- - Attack boost 7
- - Chain Crit 1
- - Horn Maestro 1
- - Dereliction3 + Resentment 5
- - Flinch free 1 for multiplayer
- Anja horn build:
- - Add Handicraft 2
- If you want more damage, invest the rest of the space into Crit boost then crit eye.
- Otherwise, comfort skills like Wirebug whisperer, evade extender, redirection, more handicraft, speed sharpening, etc.
- Other Heal Options:
- Kamura horn: You will not need handicraft 2 with it, it is potentially better for performance mode since the heal is on green. Less raw
- Teo/Bazel: The other two weaker (damage) heal options. If you need the fashion.
- Other Non-Heal Options:
- Pyre Rakna horn: Similar damage to Anja, except on bloom/es where it's less damage. More sharpness.
- Final Boss horn: Very comfy sharpness, similar damage to Anja (very slightly lower), less slots.
- Tigrex: It's like anja without ele, 1 less slot, but has sonic waves.
- Ibushi: Can hit harder if you use bead for Attack up, but that's opportunity lost for Bloom/ES.
- -------------
- For Elemental
- -------------
- Elemental builds will outperform raw by a large amount for most of their corresponding match ups.
- For Dereliction, generally most match ups still prefers the blue scroll over red. But don't worry too much about swapping back and forth the damage lost is very minimal.
- For rampage decoration, use Anti-species decoration.
- Keep Silkbind shockwave buff uptime high, it is mandatory for elemental sets.
- Can use bead for attack up if horn lacks it, may not be worth it in solo play. Bead duration is 1min. Song can last for 1min after bead expires.
- ES/Bloom can still be strong in elemental because we are building for Raw + Ele.
- Slide beat is still good, but it may be challenging to use both this and shockwave.
- Horns:
- Thunder: Narwa - Generally best, and good healing
- Furious Rajang - Damage lower than Narwa-with-bead but makes up for it with no bead maintenance. Easier to build, good buffs, no heal
- Zinogre - Similar Damage to Furious Rajang. Harder to build and songs are not as good, but fashion I guess.
- Astalos - Harder to built, similar damage to Narwa with cb3, no heal.
- Ice : Aurora Somnacanth
- Kush/Luna/Barioth(heal song) - All these 3 horns are around 5% behind Aurora, but may have your preferred song set.
- Water : Mizutsune for heal song
- Ludroth has very slightly higher damage
- The only water attack up option (frog) is not really worth using because it'll do less damage than the other horns before they use bead. And it'll require lots of skill investment into sharpness.
- Dragon : Vicello Kvar Black for heal song
- Shagaru for top damage but no healing.
- Malzeno for multiplayer sharpness buffs. similar damage to Vicello
- Valstrax similar damage to Vicello with bead. This horn is weaker than Shagaru having similar damage to when shaggy has no bead up, but can be easier to use and build for also kind of makes up for it in higher uptime from sharpness/no bead maintenance.
- Final boss horn, alternative to valstrax, can also be very easy to build for. Their damage is lower than generally lower than Valstrax outside of ES/Bloom.
- Fire : Anja Horn for heal song
- Doomed Bell does much more damage but has no heal (Similar damage to Anja before bead)
- Set building,
- https://mhrise.wiki-db.com/sim/?hl=en <-- use this to figure out the best build with the charms you have, remember to add slots from weapons.
- Add
- - Elemental attack 5
- - Weakness exploit 3
- - Attack boost 4
- - Chain Crit 1
- - Horn maestro 1
- - Flinch free1 for multiplayer
- - Dereliction3 + Resentment 5
- Dereliction is "free" on heal horns. But the drain can be tough on other horns, you can aid this by using gourmet fish, healing pets, or eating for dango shifter.
- - Get a protective polish or bunch of purple (at least 30 purple is generally a good point between investment and use)
- For Vicello, Ludroth and Aurora Somnacanth, you can skip this step for comfy big white bar. Since the amount of investment needed for purple is really high.
- On Vicello, you'll loose some damage (staying white). For Aurora Somnacanth and Ludroth, if your charm isn't amazing, it'll likely be around the same damage or better damage staying white.
- For the above three horns, if you went for white, I'd recommend to get at least attack boost 7 before going for comfort skills.
- If you want comfort skills like extra handicraft, redirection, evade extender, speed sharpening for protective polish, etc, add it in here.
- (Not recommended for casual play) If you really like damage and want to be really un-comfy, you can add coalescence 2 and bloodlust 1 to the set searcher so it'll use Storge Helm. The life drain from frenzy virus and dereliction will stack so do careful. Eating gourmet fish when you see the monster to will help to slow the drain and heal up the red health.
- Note, this will not fit on all horns, it depends on the amount of handicraft it needs and the charms you have. If you're doing this on Vicello or Anja horn, do consider the higher damage alternative horns without heal instead they'll still do more without bloodlust.
- If you've extra points, get to attack boost 7
- For Doomed Bell, Valstrax, Barioth, Shagaru, Astalos, Furious Rajang, prioritize Crit boost 3 over attack boost 7. Since it has a hefty amount of affinity.
- And if you still have more slots, throw the rest into Crit boost/Crit eye/Agitator/Max Might.
