Entrance to the putrefied glen.
The shadows violently writhe and twist along the ground here, indicating a war shrine of Nocht nearby. It is warm and quite pleasant. A stone bridge to the southeast provides entry into this dark area of the forest. A dark mist pervades the air, brushing close between the plants and swirling past anything that disturbs the stillness. What look like willow trees at first glance are actually dead trunks and branches, draped with hanging vines. Water drips from these tendrils, and slime coats their surface. The trees themselves are black, although they bear no sign of having been burnt. A sense of disquiet pervades the air - perhaps the smell of rot, the damp air or just the uneasy stillness of this dank glade. Glaring about the area suspiciously, Brultk Thornblood paces back and forth here. Split down the middle, a ravenwood sapling has been crushed here. A mature hemlock tree stands proudly here. A golden stocking has been hung here. Casting darkness all around, a shadow totem thrusts up from the ground, chilling the air. Kalaneya Shee-Slaugh, Ma'lanas Runia is here. She wields spectral psiblade claws in each hand.
You see exits leading north, northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest.

Kalaneya tells you, "Did you get an embroiderer?"

You display a short white apron for all in the room to see.
You beam broadly at Kalaneya.

LOOK APRON
Made to be tied around the waist, this apron is shaped like a
half-circle which, when worn, reaches mid-thigh at its apex. It is made
of crisp, white linen and bears no markings or decoration of any kind,
though it has a large pocket in the middle for holding small items. The
inspiration for this design was obviously functionality, rather than
fashion.
Embroidered on it are the words:

Faintly buzzing, you ask Kalaneya, "Oh - who handles the funds for the prizes?"

The perception of time momentarily slows to a fraction as Lachesis studies the Tapestry of Fate, carefully measuring each strand before making notations in a great tome. Time rushes forward as the memory fades, yet the feeling remains that your history in Lusternia is recorded in the great annals of fate, for better or for worse.

Faintly buzzing, you say, "Oh! O-K! Here goes!"

The Stables of the Wyrden Thorn.
The shadows violently writhe and twist along the ground here, indicating a war shrine of Nocht nearby. The shadowy outline of a twisted forest casts a dark gloom here. Dense white clouds have spread completely across the sky. Wyrden trees hunch over each other here, forming a canopy overhead. The twisted branches from each tree clash together, writhing about each other and blurring together in an unending battle of foliage. Beneath the twisted canopy, a sturdy stables has been erected, crafted from the wood from several ravenwood trees. Viciously thorny vines spread out across the ground, wrapping around the stables and spreading outwards. Midnight black roses grow in patches amongst the abundant plant life, their heavy blooms threatening to snap the stems they grow upon. Filib Shee-Slaugh hovers in the air here with a pair of daggers in his hands, wings beating rapidly. A golden stocking has been hung here. A sign suggests you can use STABLE commands here.
You see a single exit leading northeast.
Filib Shee-Slaugh turns in the air to glance at you before going back to his chores.

Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Kalaneya Shee-Slaugh, Ma'lanas Runia, "Are ready to open doors? Or do need a few minutes??"

Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Spinner Afollia, the Grand Diviner, "Are ready to begin festival? Or do need a few minutes??"

Afollia tells you, "We are okay, I believe Esei may be tending something momentarily."

Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Spinner Afollia, the Grand Diviner, "Am waiting to hear from Kalaneya."

Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Lady Haruspex Rancoura So'hthae, Ole'noc Caihel, "Are O-K if we begin bazaar??"

Afollia tells you, "Okay, no response from Esei but everyone else is good to go."

Rancoura tells you, "Of course, Exemplar."

Rancoura tells you, "Hallowed's blessings."

Afollia tells you, "Okay confirmation from Esei, they are good."

You shout, "Many greetings, friends, allies, and non-enemies of the Glomdoring! Our Forest's festivities will be beginning shortly! Join us for our bazaar, followed by an opening ceremony, and then fun designing contests! Teleport to myself, Kalaneya, or Afollia for quick arrival! Hope to see all there!"

You sweat profusely as you wring your hands nervously.

You feel a slight tug within your chest and the air around you sparkles with motes of bright light.
You sense Kistan pulling on the strands of aether surrounding you.

Kistan pops into existence, stumbling a bit as reality warps briefly into chaotic rainbow hues.

You chirp happily at Kistan.

You give a ravenwood picnic basket to Kistan Rithel.

Kistan greets you with a sincere smile.

Faintly buzzing, you exclaim to Kistan, "Many thank yous for coming!"

Faintly buzzing, you exclaim to Kistan, "Welcome to Glomdoring!"

Kistan Rithel says, "Where else would one be for festivities!"

Faintly buzzing, you exclaim to Kistan, "And Happy Solstice! Please accept this foods gift basket for the occasion. Be sure to visit Miss Kalaneya northeast of me! And Miss Afollia and her family inside the Master Ravenwood just south of there!"

Faintly buzzing, you ask, "Or, north? Which is it?"

You ponder Xenthos thoughtfully, looking him up and down.

Kistan drifts northeastward, trailed by the hauntingly beautiful notes that dance upon the air.

Jolanthe tells you, "I forgot all about that. Is there still a bit of time?"

Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Jolanthe Myeras, "Oh yes. Bazaar will last half, maybe full day, then opening ceremony."

Faintly buzzing, you exclaim to Nepenthe, "Here! Check it out!"

Kind Nepenthe laughingly says, "Am I early?"

Nepenthe calls out "Thank you."

Jolanthe tells you, "Ah, I haven't had an opportunity to prepare anything. I've been sleeping most of the months and too sluggish to get much accomplished."

Faintly buzzing, you say to Nepenthe, "Front page is what are selling - back is what animals are offering to newcomers!"

Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Jolanthe Myeras, "Am sorry to hear ... well, will save a gift basket for you anyway."

Nepenthe looks over the pamphlet with wide-eyed wonder, flipping it over several times such that it's quite clear he's not reading anything.

Chromatic rays sear the air as Ankaa strides in from the northeast.

Faintly buzzing, you say to Nepenthe, "Is all O-K. Undeerstand."

You chirp happily at Nepenthe.

Kyalrhin tilts her head curiously.

Reassuringly, you say to Nepenthe, "Bring them something."

Nepenthe wags his tail happily.

Faintly buzzing, you exclaim to Alary, "Hello!"

Faintly buzzing, you exclaim, "Am selling foods here!"

You give a ravenwood picnic basket to Blade Betwixt Ebon Veils, Alary al-Saaoud, the Arch of Mages.

Jolanthe tells you, "Very well, I think I've got a decent pile of pie now."

Faintly buzzing, you say to Alary, "Happy Solstice."

Alary chuckles long and heartily.

You feel a slight tug within your chest and the air around you sparkles with motes of bright light.
You sense Nao pulling on the strands of aether surrounding you.

Blade Betwixt Ebon Veils, Alary al-Saaoud, the Arch of Mages says to you, "Same to you!"

You beam broadly.

Inky calligraphy blooms in midair, rapidly growing into the figure of Nao.

Jolanthe tells you, "It's fine to drop in now?"

Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Jolanthe Myeras, "Of course!"

Long neck cocked to the side and cold eyes spinning wildly, Ankaa leans towards Nao and opens his beak, an outpouring of ancient tongues replacing speech briefly, until he takes notice and straightens his head, nodding at Nao as if nothing had occured.

You give a ravenwood picnic basket to Nao D'Varden, Lost in Flame.

Alary thanks you profusely.

You feel a slight tug within your chest and the air around you sparkles with motes of bright light.
You sense Jolanthe pulling on the strands of aether surrounding you.

Alary smiles softly.

Nao lowers themselves into a small bow.

Among the sparkling motes of light, a translucent figure appears in the air and then quickly solidifies as Jolanthe comes into view.

Faintly buzzing, you say, "Am selling foods here! Miss Kalaneya is northeast of here, and Miss Afollia and family are inside the Master Ravenwood!"

Jolanthe pats a heart-shaped peppermint whoopie pie in a friendly manner.

Blade Betwixt Ebon Veils, Alary al-Saaoud, the Arch of Mages says, "I should assume an appropriate form, yes."

You give a simple, charcoal-hued vellum pamphlet to Kyalrhin Ysav'rai.

Jolanthe gives 24 heart-shaped peppermint whoopie pies to you.

Nao squeals with excitement at a ravenwood picnic basket.

Gazing into the basket, Jolanthe Myeras says, "Oh, how interesting. I wouldn't have expected to see my tea cup in here."

You hear a rustling and turn to see Feoragan emerging from the undergrowth.

A low, contented growl arises within Nepenthe's chest.

Feoragan romps playfully in circles around Nepenthe.

Feoragan sidles up next to Nepenthe and starts grooming him with his tongue.

You feel a slight tug within your chest and the air around you sparkles with motes of bright light.
You sense Tridemon pulling on the strands of aether surrounding you.

Nepenthe peers at Feoragan unscrupulously.

Among the sparkling motes of light, a translucent figure appears in the air and then quickly solidifies as Tridemon comes into view.

Kind Nepenthe says to Feoragan, "I don't think you can do that."

You wipe the back of your hand across your head in relief as you mutter, "Whew."

Squeaking ominously, Nascent Feoragan, Attendant to the Wyrd asks, "What do you mean?"

Jolanthe Myeras says, "I was a little surprised by the choice as well, but perhaps it is best to ensure all the beasties get to enjoy the festivities too."

Faintly buzzing, you say, "O-K, golly , sorry." <--finally done LOL

Feoragan hums a happy tune.

You have emoted: Gurashi lets out a little cicada wheeze.

Tridemon reaches over and ruffles a rainbow-furred seal with slippery flippers's hair fondly.
