Dee and the Medical Professor's Lesson

[15:10] Regalus exclaims, "Jericho!"
[15:10] Roland asks, "Is... Is anyone here uh... A medic?"
[15:10] Jericho says, "Oh uh, yes."
[15:10] Jericho asks, "What is up?"
[15:11] Regalus says, "Jericho there is our medical professor, you should tell him your situation."
[15:11] Roland showed a dark sigil on the back of his neck, and that he was pretty well beat up.

[15:11] Chi Crow asks, "Woah!! What's that black thingy!!?"
[15:11] Dee floated closer to look at the sigil!

[15:13] Jericho says, "Ah... Right."
[15:13] Jericho says, "Let's get to the clinic."
[15:13] Tia Dorcha asks, "Who here would like to join the new adventure club?"
[15:13] Ektu Eidu says, "-No. ."
[15:14] Arturo says, "Hm-"
[15:14] Chi Crow exclaims, "Beat you to it! Ha!"
[15:14] Roland showed off the sigil, and it emanated a steady stream of darkness.

[15:14] Dee says, "Zoomer."
[15:14] Roland says, "I see things..."
[15:14] Ektu Eidu asks, "-Jericho, s'this an appropriate time ta' snag that o' medical expertise or must I flee?"
[15:14] Roland says, "...That aren't supposed to be there."
[15:14] Chi Crow says, "I only have one arm... to use."
[15:14] Ektu came here on pure instinct. To learn. What a BASTARD.

[15:14] Chi Crow says, "I am the storm and the wind. Of course I zoom! Like lightning. Hehe."

[15:15] Ektu Eidu says, "-I do hope. I'm enhancin' that'a my studies."

"Claw marks are on his body, but they aren't too severe at the moment. A certain sigil can be seen on his back though, it's radiating a metaphysical aura. Roland would hear some noises around, as if something is watching him, a being not human in the slightest. But, with proper medical attention and rest, all of these things would go away, as if they never existed in the first place."

[15:16] Dee got a good look at it now. It wasn't like the one she'd been blasted with but it was pretty close. "Mhm." She just shook her head and reached into her satchel, retrieving a pen and not-pad to start taking notes.

"I'm going to take some notes. Since, this looks to be the best method of medical learning. Hey, uh guy, what did the person who marked you look like?" After all it probably wasn't the same person she'd fought but who knew!

[15:17] Roland says, "He... Was tall, with black hair, and pale... And a soldier from Achyon.."
[15:17] Dee says, "Man... That describes like all of them."
[15:17] Ektu Eidu asks, ".. Tssssk-- did he get that'a the jump on you?"
[15:18] Roland says, "Yeahhh..."
[15:19] Roland says, "...Sssh! These noises are loud.."
[15:19] Regalus kept a close eye on Jericho's motions and watched closely between him and the injured stranger, taking mental notes of what he does. Speaking of stranger...

"What's your name? I don't believe I got it."

[15:20] Roland says, "Roland.."
[15:20] Jericho would move with the others to the infirmary. "Alright... So uh, we'll need bandages for the cuts, I've some cleaner already on me, but if someone would grab a cloth and water."

He'd ask of those there.

"We'll need someone to disinfect the wounds, and then someone for bandaging. I'll be keeping an eye on you both as needed."

[15:20] Regalus went and got some bandages.

[15:20] Ektu Eidu exclaims, "-I nominate myself fo' that o' the disinfectin' duty!"
[15:20] Ektu also, politely, tottles to fetch that of both cloth and water! A return is made with haste.

[15:21] Regalus handed the bandages to Jericho.

[15:21] Ears flicked when the guy mentioned about Achyon. So the guy was pale with black hair and tall? There was few people like that in the city but Chi was going to keep his nose at this one. His tail wagging rather slowly. It was weird though. They only attacked people that didn't pay or.. well from what he was told, were enemies or something.

"I'm just gonna watch. I can only use one arm right now anyways."

[15:23] Jericho says, "Ah, go ahead Regalus, we'll want the wound wrapped firmly, but not such that they'd be constricting."
[15:25] Jericho says, "And of course, after they've been disinfected."
[15:25] She'd have to leave the mystery of who'd actually done the deed for later. After all it was interesting to know that others were marking alchemical sigils on their foes as a sign of conquest. What was the point of it though?

The cuts were to be handled with an appropriate mixture of cleansing the area and applying stout bandaging. "Do you clean and then apply the disinfectant?" She felt that it was pointless to apply disinfectant immediately upon a wound when you could clean it first with water.

Though, she didn't jump to assist there was more than enough in the room to handle the minor aspects of the operation. She was here to observe and question! Though, she let out a slight sight it'd been easy for Augsut or Chaska to cleanse her wounds with their water magic. She'd have to rely on her herbal remedies because somehow she doubted her toxins could 'heal' really.

"To many hands stirring the pot isbad. So, I will observe Regalus and Ektu's works."

[15:25] "Very well," Regalus put the bandages near the wound but didn't wrap it, only holding it at the ready.

"Yes, disinfecting first," Regalus said, remembering the books he had read at the library.

[15:26] It is troubling, the nature of such an injury; it is not alone, accompanied by the remnants of something more than mere wounding - but! From the innards of a medical kit, all-purpose in the name of a quick fix, antiseptic ointment is produced,

"-Say, s'there a particular way'a disinfectin' you hold as a preference, Jericho?"

Claws marks are noted - a meticulous eye searches thoroughly, and freshly washed hands are utilized to aide in application; it is applied swiftly, but not in a manner that dare disrupt the patient..!

[15:27] Ektu Eidu says, "-Oh, drats, yes."
[15:28] Ektu does wipe away any miscellaneous residue. He is no monster. .

[15:31] Regalus takes note of Ektu's motions, memorizing them and mimicking them in his head. He waits for Jericho's orders...

[15:34] For preferences? "Long as the wound is cleaned, and occasionally it depends on the wound. You don't want ice cold water for burns, for example." He answerred, before moving forwards, hand glowing brightly.

And tapping on Roland's back in a few seperate spots. All focussed around the sigil. Threads of light forming between where he tapped and his hand.

"Now uh, this isn't really much for showing with your eyes. Although, if you are able, you might notice I'm using these threads for channelling my mana in a more direct and focussed area around the sigil." He started.

Before the threads would begin to glow a yellow red in particular.

Cosmic energies slowly purging the malicious mana, reducing most the extent.

"I use cosmic often for treating the more magical afflictions. But I'd reccommend generic neutral mana for doing so for a beginner. Even if you are a cosmic user."

[15:37] Was watching them this whole time trying to take everything in. Could his magic even do healing at all? All he had was lightning and wind. For all he knew so far his magic only harms things or completely destroys it, just like a raging storm.

"Hmm... B..But what can lightning and wind do?"

[15:38] Regalus nodded, taking in what Jericho had said. Even if the wound is physically clean as clean can be, foreign magic too must be wiped away. Especially those that may have caused the affliction to begin with.

"Can any magical energy be used to heal so long as one has skill or only certain ones?" Regalus asked.

[15:39] It is observed; the threads that fend off the affliction, the residual magic that resides - combatting that of the sigil, trying to purge that of it's malice! Nifty; truly, utterly!

"-Ay'. Neutral mana, don't start blastin' 'em wit' my affinity. I 'ave that down," he notes, jotting meticulously-- pursing his lips, ".. d-.. definitely.."

An accursed memory resurfaces.

[15:45] Scritch, scratch, scritch, the sounds of her pen making little marks upon the paper echoed softly as she glanced between her notpad and the medical workings going on before her. It wasn't all that complex to her really in a lot of ways the human body was just an alchemical experiment.

If you add an ingredient it would cause an effect. If you took an ingredient away something new might cause. However, it was clear the best way to handle things was to add and give. Which was the big different with Alcehmy. Once something went in it was a part of the potion. Not so here, not so!

Cleansing of the area left the wounds more clearly visible. Something about that was a little unsettling as fi the roughness of them was more natural. The way the disinfectant bubbled and fizzled on the wounds made her squint. What was this but poison for the bacteria that ate away at the wounds?

Maybe, could she mimic that with her Athanor Corpis? A thought jotted down into her notes for later testing. She'd have to find a test subject but that shouldn't be to hard. She blinked and glanced back up. So, he flushed out the foreign mana present in magical afflictions using his celestial energy? Now that made a lot of sense to her after all what magic could truly withstand the raw power of a star?

"Understood, instructions for the future have been noted Professor." She found it funny as she spoke. Here she'd thought for a year that Jericho was just a lazy cat! Guess you couldn't judge a book by the cover or first meetings at the least.

[15:49] With that much done, he looked to the others, as they asked. The mental effects abated for the large part. "Alright, yes. Neutral mana until you are skilled with it. Only then would I say branch into using more advanced techniques."

Although, as he listenned a few. "I am aware Tempest has some means of healing the user. I'm certain should you know what you're doing. You could use most any form of magic to heal others. But the question is sometimes, should you? It's not, for example, always best to burn a wound closed."
