  1. [17:32] Yvel decided the best place he could learn to conjure and control his newly explored cloud magic was within the very place he had trained with Zeitan just years before. The ice and snow covered mountain's were the perfect place he could train and discharge his skills.
  2.
  3. While Yvel wasn't quite sure just how much power could be released by creating a natural storm he was certain having control of this power would be useful in numerous ways. He pressed together the air, Replicating the process from before using his mana to clump together moisture and create the rising air effect until he formed small clouds the size of baseballs that he could fit within his hand.
  4.
  5. Yvel would then surround it with a barrier made from his holy magic, Making sure to keep the cloud capsule close at hand, Until he was ready to unleash them. As he had been reading up on more theories using clouds and expanding his knowledge he knew that it would only take a couple thunder clouds to cause a massive storm, And with his mana infused within the clouds itself he could essentially control and direct the path of the lightning.
  6.
  7. Of course this was all mere theorizing and Yvel had to bite the bullet and test this for himself. Another reason why he chose the mountain for his training, The seclusion and unlikely chance he'd be bothered up here was highly unlikely.
  8. (Yvel Endore)
  9. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  10.
  11. [17:43] With nothing more holding him back from completing his first trial Yvel released one of the five cloud capsules he had created the mana within it started to shift and sparks of lightning could be manipulated at a distance. Yvel knew he could harness this to his advantage despite how far away mana that was his own could be sensed and used from nearly any position.
  12.
  13. It was now all he needed was the skill and the know how to spread his mana throughout the regular clouds in the sky so he could gain influence over them as well. Slowly one by one, Each cloud was transformed into clouds that contained small amounts of Yvel's mana and they eventually converted over to his control.
  14.
  15. Utilizing wind magic Yvel could position and move the clouds into one massive one, Moving them from within and using his mana to stich them into a single massive thundercloud. It was difficult learning to manage and maintain mana from a distance like this and it took Yvel quite the bit of cognitive mana control to be able to not only think of but move and sustain so many different objects.
  16.
  17. What Adalyn said turned out to be immensely true, It would take someone with an enormous amount of mana reserves to have complete control of the sky and at most Yvel could only manipulate about 5 or 7 clouds all at once. To turn the entire sky black and infuse his mana into it would need some working to do. Luckily however Yvel was a mage who focused more on his spirit rather than his over all speed.
  18.
  19. "Next is going to be the hardest part..."
  20.
  21. Yvel warned himself, He placed the staff between his hands, Infusing holy mana into the staff to create a barrier around himself to guard against the soon to come disaster.
  22. (Yvel Endore)
  23. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  24.
  25. [17:51] One by one Yvel would generate wind within the clouds and eventually they'd build up more pressure more kinetic energy was disbursed and lightning began to form, Yvel would remember the utilization of his lightning body technique, and slowly start to form his mana clouds into Thunderclouds all Yvel had to do was start the process and once it began...the rumbling of Thunder began.
  26.
  27. Yvel could feel just how off the charges the scale of it was getting a direct blast from lightning this powerful would leave some seriously scalding damage...and would it would take some immense practice to control and direct how he wanted.
  28.
  29. "I won't be able to control something as powerful as Natural lightning based only on my senses. I have to use something more discernable. Something that can't be avoided or misguided..." Yvel had an idea of exactly what he could use. His holy magic had opened him up to feelings of others.
  30.
  31. Not only the good ones but the morenegative ones as well. Its what made Yvel so much more open to others and his knack for positivity reigned for helping those in need. "I'll reverse the charge to attack people By casting a sphere created of lightning magic I'll be able to instantly sense people who enter that domain and it'll strike them...It won't be as direct as I'd like it to be but...Natural lightning can't be tamed so easily it can only discern so much."
  32.
  33. Despite this Yvel knew it would be something he could control in the future, He'd have to warn his allies to avoid getting near him when he used this technique or at the very least shield them with his barriers." Very well lets give it my all..." Yvel moved towards an area surrounded by a few trees, They would be his targets for today.
  34. (Yvel Endore)
  35. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  36.
  37. [18:01] As the cloud of lightning churned and flashed above him Yvel began to slowly invoke his control and begin by positively charging the things he identified as targets. Casting an invisible net of lightning mana that rebalanced anyone's natural charge something that not many magi despite their abilities could revoke easily.
  38.
  39. And as soon as Yvel had placed the positive charge into the tree it began, The resounding boom of the thunder shook the sky and the ground the snow covered mountain echoed and reverberated the immense sound only matched by the instantons blasts of lightning first one, then two, then uncountable surges and strikes of lightning.
  40.
  41. Yvel had manage to create a lightning spell that not only fixated on any target charged positively by Yvel's mana but also struck it down until it was reduced to mere ashes. Of course Yvel could dial down the power a bit, if he was using this ability indoors, however, using it in this manner it was quite clear that he would have to adjust and mitigate doing this much harm to not only an enemy but the surrounding area.
  42.
  43. Burns remained from the lightning, as it licked the ground. The tree was a smoldering pile of charcoal. Yvel had managed to create an immensely powerful spell yet there were he knew he'd have to dial back the power. But of how he could do that he was unsure.
  44.
  45. Natural lightning he was generating wasn't necessarily something he could control like the lightning he produced from his mana. And once the sparks had charged the clouds full of lightning all he could do was tell it where to and what to shoot at.
  46.
  47. Yvel would have to come up with some other tactic to secure the clouds he wanted to use and somehow reduce their power into something he could adjust...
  48. (Yvel Endore)
  49. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  50.
  51. [18:11] After a brain storming session Yvel had come to something he had wanted to try...If he could infuse lightninging into a cloud why could he not infuse the Holy Attribute into a cloud? Yvel thought about it and pondered wondering if it was possible and the answer would be determined by his own tenacity..
  52.
  53. First Yvel recreated the same process to create his mana clouds, Next he would begin using symbolic magic to transform the mana within the cloud into holy magic...Something he didn't think was possible but as he did. The cloud began golden something that he had never expected from his experiments.
  54.
  55. Yvel shaped the golden clouds, And they were far less volatile than the lightning ones. He could not only create expand them into barriers but he could use his healing magic within them as well...Yvel had nearly discovered a unique way of utilizing all three of his elements into something more marvelous than before.
  56.
  57. "While it takes some time to cast like this I think the applications of turning my mana into cloud like objects would be even more beneficial. I have to continue to train until I can do this by habit."
  58.
  59. And so Yvel went back to the basics. Of all his schools of study, Recreating wind magic Flurries, Producing strong currents of lightning, while also increasing the amount of positive energy he could manifest.
  60.
  61. Then he poured his time into perfecting the cloud casting method, While it was something he figured would make him not only stand out but recognizable within the mass majority of Knights. Over all Yvel had did what he wanted. And become proficient in a new technique and comprised all of his skills into making something that not only would be a signature move but a skill unqiue to himself.
  62. (Yvel Endore)
  63. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  64.
  65. [18:19] And despite how powerful the natural lightning was Yvel could use the golden clouds to filter and repress the lightning into more manageable doses. Shaving off a considerable amount of fire power unless he needed it. The golden clouds filled with holy magic seemed to be far easier to control and even now as Yvel gained more skill in producing clouds he noticed more and more were attaching around him.
  66.
  67. Yvel could expand and contrast them far greater than his original method of thinking of his mana like slime or gel now they were wafting clouds that could be manipulated, expanded, contracted, small or large and in any shape imaginable. It was truly a discovery Yvel was proud to have invented.
  68.
  69. The small clouds of lightning magic he could create were also extremely powerful, He could discharge blasts of lightning from them with ease and his technique's seem to fire more sharply when produced from the mana clouds. "I've gotten the first few steps down, now I just need to focus on perfecting this skill as best I can...If so I'll be able to do so much more with my abilities."
  70.
  71. Yvel was confident he could do it he was becoming more proficient in using lightning and more knowledgeable in ways to use and produce his mana, The young Knight left it at that for now, Having found a successful albeit it dangerous method of turning the sky into a weapon he could use.
