This deck is bant midrange shell featuring every relevant on-color tutor and the Teshar loop, along with a bunch of Creature Cast/ETB payoffs. Big RIP this week. Control seems like an AWFUL matchup, and though I came close to comboing off MouseRa in Game 2 of our match, he hoofed me into the dirt the turn before I could do it.



Round 1 - Esper Control (GoblinMatron) - 0-2

Game 1: Stuck on 3 lands for multiple turns. Eventually drew out of it, but too slow to beat a control deck.

Game 2: Wraths R Us. LOOONG game but I ran out of gas, and they ultimately resolved multiple good planeswalkers.



I also super punted by attacking Teferi instead of Narset and then using Chulane to Deputy Teferi, effectively drawing them a card.



Round 2 - Esper Control (grumpykroc) - 0-2

Game 1: Kept a hand with no green mana. Mega punished. Whiffed on incubation, then got my Brazen Borrower countered and scooped shortly after with a hand full of green cards.



Game 2: Durdled around not really developing a boardstate through their removal, before finally losing to Golos + Field.



Round 3 - Mono Green Stompy (MouseRa) - 0-2

Game 1: Stomp Stomp Stomp. Fast start, strong finish (Rhonas). Never stood a chance.



Game 2: Little less stomped. I had early removal to slow him down and built up a board. Shifting Ceratops into Great Henge into End-Raze Forerunners (aka Big Pig) wins games, though. I had 2/3 pieces assembled for Teshar with a way to dig for the last, but unfortunately it was too slow.
