Background: She grew up in the streets of Daegu, but her parents are divorced. She lived with her mom, who was cold and harsh. That is how Somin became cold too. She knew no better until it was too late. She always loved act, and was in every play in her middle school. That continued in highschool, where she was the star every time, except once. That time, she cried until her drama teacher found her, and he told her to shape up, because he knew she was going places, and he wanted the other girl to have a chance. After that, she realized he was right. She was going to be an actor, and at his urging, made good on that statement.
Personality:
She's a cold girl. I'm not saying she doesn't care, but that's exactly what I'm saying. She just never saw the need to get worked up about things. People see her as an uncaring, selfish girl. But its just her not getting worked up. And somewhat scared of being hurt. She could care less about your problems if they're stupid worries. If you are crying from because you got a 90%, not a 100%, she won't care. But if something big happens, she's there for you.
She doesn't believe in true love or romance. Being an actress, she sees it faked, and fakes it herself so much that love is a meaningless thing that gives movies an extra kick. It could never occur in a lasting, true sense. Its all a made up concept to her. She sees people who are happy, and she guesses how long till its over. So being on this show makes her laugh. She just puts on a show to please people. After all, that's what her whole life is spent doing
Somin is very reserved. She's calm and docile, and even colder towards strangers. She needs to  have a good idea of what kind of a person you are before she feels comfortable talking to you. Its a commonly know fact that she researches actors she hasn't worked with before filming starts. She's not trying to be condescending in any way. Her anxiety would be over the roof if she didn't do that. At this point, she has files on people she'll be with a very long time. Its not her stalking. She's very smart. A huge advantage of hers is her memorization skills. She is a very very quick learner. At times, she thinks her knowledge will be enough, and slacks off of things. But if it goes haywire, she'll freak and work hard to fix it. She loves teaching people new things. She usually has entire scenes memorized after 3 read-throughs. She doesn't find this remarkable at all though. Its just part of who she is.
She also has a guilty pleasure of dad jokes. Don't ask why. Its completely unlike her normal self, but if you tell a dad joke, she's on the floor dying. She has a very weird sense of humor, and thinks Jin from BTS is a king for his dad jokes. He's her ideal celebrity type for that reason.

Soon, they're lost in the lie. But when does it stop being a lie?
