Of Despondency and Depravity

Many years have passed since the most recent Tsol'teth invasion, the effects of which still reverberate through Sapience as a result of the Tsol'teth attempting once more carve their place into relevance with force. Perhaps more unsettling, if possible, has been the ease of which some groups and individuals adopted the cause of the Tsol'teth in hopes of furthering their own ambitions.

While the dust has long settled from that nearly cataclysmic conflict, and the damage has been acknowledged, at least on the surface, the efforts for many to rebulid their lives and homes are still underway. In the wake of such events the constant pursuit and efforts to rebuild have trudged ever forward. In response to such efforts depravity has blossomed at an alarming rate as the perniciousness of pride and indignation find root in even the most blood soaked soil.

All for what? A sense of dominence or superiority cast across the land like the palest of shadows? The invigorating sense of newly discovered power
