- (First Attempt/Log)
- Sun Kon wasn't quite at the level these new saiyans were at yet but he wasn't mad at it, he had never been the prideful type like most Elites were. He was actually happy to see that so many of the low-borns were the ones who were the strongest now, a funny fate if you ask him as most of the low-class were used as meat shields to ensure the survival of the Royals.
- "Hehe. To think we'd come to a point in time where I'm being trained by warriors of low-class. It makes me happy because this only proves what I've said for so long...that no matter what you were born into, Elite is a title you earn and it would seem that I need to earn my status back."
- Slipping off his weighted wrist bands and powering up, he'd look over to his opponent and smirk.
- "And I'll work as hard as I need too. Let's do this, Arata."
- He'd begin channeling the energies of the world around, drawing from the natural elements around him. The grass, the water, the soil, the tree's and the very air they breath.
- He harnessed it all in exchange for internal power and got into a fighting stance.
- However after defeat he would realize that he hadn't fully understand what was necessary to fully draw upon the elements of the Earth as yet, so instead of bolstering himself with the natural energies of the world he used his own energy and ended burning himself out too quickly. But this loss against Arata wasn't to be stressed about, it was merely the first step on his journey to mastering and understanding how to control the natural energy around him and harness it for power just as he learned during his nomadic life and during his time spent with the Saiyans of the Savage clan who seem to have a natural grasp due to living most their lives in the wilderness and thus becoming naturally attuned to it.
- It would be much harder than he thought but he'd figure it out eventually.
- (Second Attempt/Log)
- Sun Kon was impressed, it would seem that all this time Arata was holding back yet another technique but this was alot different from anything else he has seen. This wasn't something that the average warrior could come up with on the fly, the sheer amount of Ki control it required to amplify ones power that high wasn't to overlooked.
- A bright red aura would burst and ripple around Arata's body as he exploded with power.
- "Wow..That was impressive. I never knew you had such a technique under your sleeve."
- He'd begin thinking back to his own technique that he had been working on. Something that required just as much Ki control as Arata's Kaioken but the energy he needed to control was not just energy from within but energy from the world itself.
- His years of nomadic travelling allowed him to get a peep into what was required and his time amongst the savages, learning their ways and becoming nature reliant just as they were. They taught him that the tree's, the grass, the sand, the earth around him on a whole was his to control but he just needed to realize that.
- It was only now that he realized they meant the energy within it all.
- Focusing his mind, he'd take a deep breath in and exhale slowly. Blocking out everything in his surroundings but the natural elements of the earth and then pull from the energy around him and bend it into his own.
- "How about we have a match while your like that? I think it'll help me alot."
- And just like before, Kon had lost but he had discovered something very important about the difference between that technique and what he was attempting to accomplish. He was going about this the wrong way, Arata's Kaioken was about taking energy that was already in him and making it explode to pump him up with power but what Sun was doing was drawing from power around him, from life itself and storing it within himself. Arata's move was easier because he already have an abundance of the energy needed, which is own. Sun didn't have the world's energy in him naturally so there was not much to draw from with his technique, that was why when he attempted to draw in energy to himself from nature? It doesn't last for more than a minute. He needed more time, this wasn't a move that he could just do spontaneously. He needed to meditate and focus in amassing a large amount of nature energy then and only then would he be able to pull it off.
- (Third Attempt/Finale)
- The young male flew far away to find a nice and quiet spot, a place where he could meditate with little to no distraction. The only thing he wanted around him was nature itself to draw from, he'd close his eyes and begin focusing on his surroundings.
- The sound of the waves, the grass blowing in the wind, the sound of rocks from the cliffside falling into the water, the animals, the very bugs in the ground he felt it all and could visualize it all in his mind.
- How? During his time spent with the Savages, he had grown far closer to nature than ever before. It was the reason Savages senses were more sharp than the average saiyan, it was also why they were able to hear more, smell more and even use their surroundings to their advantage in battle.
- They had mastered the use of nature and taught him too to become one with the world around him. It was their deep connection to saiyan instincts and natural roots that allowed them to use the Oozaru form with greater efficiency. Sun sought to do the same but differently, they were drawing from within. Just like he observed with Arata's technique too, the Kaioken technique was drawing from an energy that exist already within himself.
- They were only using power from what's internal but Kon was drawing from something external. He was pulling from a source far far far more powerful and with a much larger source of energy than any mortal being can hold.
- He was drawing from the world itself and every single bit of life that it had. He was pulling from the nature energy around him. He draw the natural energy of every single organism on earth and stored it within himself. His technique required an outer source so in a sense it was less convenient because he'd need to meditate for a while to amass enough energy for usage.
- But it was also far more powerful than any other technique due to the nature of it. He'd have a source of power outside of his own to add to his own existing power, a large source at that.
- However as poweful as this technique was in theory, it had drawbacks. Sun could not draw in too much of it because his body was nowhere as large as the earth itself therefore he couldn't possibly imagine to host the natural energy from everything on earth with himself. He'd explode.
- So this was a risk, he had to draw in just enough to make use of it in battle but not too much or else he'd die trying to perfect this technique.
- Days would past, weeks without anyone seeing him or hearing from. Even if they looked for him, they wouldn't find him but eventually after meditation non-stop, without moving even an inch in that same spot for weeks he managed to amass enough natural energy that he was able to achieve a entirely different dimension power, allowing him to do things that he wasn't normally able too.
- His eyes opened and suddenly his ears were clearer, he felt as if he could hear his friends talking even from miles away, he could smell an abundance of things and could spot the smallest details such an ant climbing a blade of grass. His senses were heightened and he himself felt...enlightened by the experience.
- Sun felt a lot stronger too, not from a numbers point of view but he knew something changed.
