- These monsters were called Demons and Devils, and they could transform into all kinds of animals, such as lions, leopards, hippos, eagles, elephants, and even the dragons from the Underground Area. Transforming into animals was not threatening in and of itself. Pechka could take care of wild beasts if she had the heart to. After all, a Magical Girl’s strength, speed and resilience were far in excess of wild animals.
