Ben managed to get a hold of quite a few people who knew Highlight from high school.  Enough to learn he was a ward of the state, no one really knew much about his parents but the going rumor was they were drug addicts or something.   He was a very antisocial teenager, took on a lot of counter culture hobbies and fashion, and easily the dude his class would vote as “most likely to shoot up the school.”  He wasn't bullied, however, as he was quite tough and was known for taking martial arts classes outside of school.

Ben was at least smart enough not to put his real name in this article, but he implies he knows what it is.

Ben also managed to dig up Highlight's blog from high school, which was filled with bad edgy poetry and other things you'd expect out of "most likely to shoot up our school" kids.

He's got a lot of direct quotes from Night Shade's sister, and she was the one that gave Ben most the information on the Runner underground.  Ben's summary of it is actually a little less detailed than what Nick told you all earlier, but it's still enough to make it clear what he DOES.

As far as the cybernetics stuff, this chick took some sneaky pictures at some point - a picture of a shirtless Highlight (from the back),with an augmented, robotic arm and a data jack in his neck is the big one.  You can even see Madrona University's emblem in the metal on it.  She claims he's got cybernetic eyes.  And that a lot of the other chrome in him is "under the covers."

Probably the most damning thing is she leaked a lot of photos that would make it very clear where Highlight's safe house was - in a pretty family-focused area of Dahlia's suburbs.

It's hard to say where the photos came from, but Ben did have a few with Sue in them.

* Him eating with her at a family diner on her 13th birthday.  You can tell it's that cause there's a little cake on the table.  It's just the two of them around.
* Some big public event with a lot of paparazis, and he's shielding her with his coat.
* Him picking her up from high school - you think? It's more like him waiting street side with a car as she's walking out
