(3:17:56 PM) ***Linny_Bloodsgrowl has found her way to one of the numerous parks in Sigil, little bastions of nature among towers of stone and steel.
(3:19:37 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: Taking in the smell of tree and animal feels so good, a momentary reprieve from the tang of 'modern living' in the air.
(3:20:55 PM) Ikiryo: ...and yet she smells someone else here. As well as metal and plastic. Someone who doesn't belong.
(3:22:13 PM) ***Linny_Bloodsgrowl clicks her tongue in annoyance and starts to stalk through the woods, following the abhorrent scent to its source.
(3:28:43 PM) Ikiryo: It doesn't take her long to find the figure, sitting up high in a tree. A lean, very pretty girl with long purple hair and tanned skin. She's dressed in purple and white short shorts and a matching white tank top. She's looking over an AR display and has a small drone hovering over her shoulder.
(3:32:49 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: Linny frowns, unsure what to make of what she sees in front of her. Claws extended for better purchase, she clambers up a nearby tree, putting them at nearly even footing, and waits for the girl to notice her.
(3:33:53 PM) Ikiryo: It doesn't take long. They look up, scream and fall out of the tree and hit the ground hard.
(3:36:27 PM) Ikiryo: "Oww...owww owww oww...please don't hurt me."
(3:36:28 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: Well, that's...huh. Linny peers down at the fallen girl, then back up at the drone. Grabbing it, she jumps down, bending her knees on landing like someone who hasn't been startled out of a tree. "You alright, there?"
(3:36:50 PM) ***Linny_Bloodsgrowl rolls her eyes. "You're doing a good enough job of that yourself that I don't need to help."
(3:37:22 PM) Ikiryo: Up close, the smell is a bit off...this isn't a girl. It's a guy. "Sorry for watching you with drones..."
(3:38:03 PM) Ikiryo: ...Linny gets the distinct feeling that UYTANA could bully this person succesfully.
(3:38:04 PM) ***Linny_Bloodsgrowl glances around her. "You were watching me?"
(3:38:28 PM) Ikiryo: "You are new to Sigil and I didn't want you to get in trouble...sorry, please don't bite me."
(3:39:55 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "Funny, some people ask me too." Linny tilts her head at this 'guy.' "Now tell me who you are before I really get annoyed at you."
(3:41:17 PM) Ikiryo: "M-My name is Eden, I'm a coworker of Reise!"
(3:42:38 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "Oh, why didn't you say so? Did she tell you to follow me?" She manhandles him back onto his feet, though it feels weird to call it 'manhandling.'
(3:43:42 PM) Ikiryo: He shakes his head. "No, she just told me you were in Sigil for the first time and I was worried that you'd get in trouble with the Azorius or Boros..." He shrinks back a bit from her, nervously.
(3:47:37 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "The local law?" Linny guesses, sighing as this Double Uytana backs away from her. "Look, instead of watching me, why don't you show me around?"
(3:50:26 PM) Ikiryo: He nods a few times. "R-Right. Sorry, I didn't want to intrude."
(3:54:18 PM) ***Linny_Bloodsgrowl taps her nose and smiles, trying to tone done the teeth for this little lamb. "I could smell you wherever you might have hidden in this forest. Now," she moves towards him quickly, spinning him around and slapping him on the lower back, "why don't you start the tour?~"
(4:00:21 PM) Ikiryo: He jumps. "Umm...right, w-what would you like to start with?"
(4:02:14 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "Why don't we start with this Azorius and Boros? I should know who I might get in trouble with~"
(4:02:40 PM) MaximusDos [[email protected]] entered the room.
(4:04:06 PM) MaximusPrime left the room (quit: Ping timeout).
(4:05:31 PM) Ikiryo: He nods. "Do you want to visit them? Or just hear about them? I mean, I am a police officer...I shouldn't be starting fights."
(4:07:49 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "I doubt you could if you wanted to," Linny laughs. "Why don't you tell me about them while you lead the way somewhere more fun?"
(4:09:21 PM) Ikiryo: He pouts adorably. "I'm good at my job...what do you concider fun?"
(4:12:13 PM) ***Linny_Bloodsgrowl counts off on her fingers, curling them into a fist at the end. "Drinking, eating, hunting, fighting and fucking," she grins. "Sometimes in that order. What else is best in life?"
(4:13:36 PM) Ikiryo: "I...well...I don't do much of any of those. The Rakdos are in charge of all of the above though..."
(4:17:09 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "No wonder you're so thin!" Linny slaps his thigh with the back of her hand, chuckling. "The Rakdos sound like my kind of people.  Maybe we can get you a decent meal while we're visiting? Put some meat on those bones!"
(4:19:55 PM) Ikiryo: He blushes. "The Rakdos are...well, they are one of the guilds. They used to, years ago, be the cult of a demon lord bound deep in Sigil. They still sorta are. They keep him sleeping by keeping him entertained with excess, bloodletting and murder...well, in the case of the worse members. They also run most of the fast food and wait staff around here."
(4:23:31 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "A demon lord? Well, lead the way!"
(4:24:47 PM) Ikiryo: "Umm...crud." He drags up an AR display. "They have a legal gladatorial arena a few streets away. Full contact violence as long as you don't kill the other guy and the reviews say the hot wings are really good. Is that alright?"
(4:26:04 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "I have no clue what hot wings are, but everything else you just said sounds like something I'd be into~"
(4:28:24 PM) Ikiryo: "Umm...chicken wings with sauce to make them hot and served by staff in not a lot of clothing."
(4:31:28 PM) ***Linny_Bloodsgrowl nods her head slowly. "What does the hot sauce have to do with the scantily clad servers?"
(4:32:43 PM) Ikiryo: "I'm pretty sure it doesn't. I think they just sell bird-based food so they can make breast jokes in ads and deny they were thinking anything odd."
(4:34:05 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "What's this place called?"
(4:34:21 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "...and how do they make breast jokes when they serve wings?"
(4:39:38 PM) Ikiryo: "Breast is part of the chicken. Oh, it's called 'Grill them All'" He leads on, through the streets of the city and clearly knowning his way about.
(4:41:18 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "How much do the gladiators get paid?" Linny asks as they walk.
(4:44:36 PM) Ikiryo: "Umm...I don't know. A good bit? I think it depends on how popular they are." He frowns. "And if they go for the unsanctioned red matches. I hope those havn't started up again." The place in question is very industrial, a large refurmished factory with lots of signs and poorly clothed people advertising it.
(4:47:52 PM) ***Linny_Bloodsgrowl rankles her nose at the very iron and grease smell of it, but she has to admit the waft of chicken from within is appetizing..."For some reason, I hope they have~"
(4:49:51 PM) Ikiryo: "Please don't." He sighs. "As I said, I'm a police officer. I'd need to stop it." It smells of iron and grease...but even moreso, of blood. Dried and fresh blood.
(4:52:47 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: As a worshiper of Khorne, that's a smell she's very familiar with and pleased to encounter. She smiles. "Let's go in~"
(4:56:06 PM) Ikiryo: The pair are let in...and the place inside has been heavily torn up, a massive pit taking up most of the floor and seating all about it. In the pit, a semi-clad dark eldarin is doing her best to kill a laughing ork. Blood from both of them is flowing freely.

(4:59:24 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: A grin spreads over Linny's face as she takes it all in. "I think I really could like it here.  I haven't seen an ork in years," she says to Eden. "They all got killed or exported off of Tranquility when Jophiel took over, that bastard."
(5:01:01 PM) Ikiryo: "I read the report on that...I'm sorry for what happened." Eden takes a seat, looking at the fight nervously.
(5:04:56 PM) ***Linny_Bloodsgrowl seats herself on the arm between Eden's seat and the one next to him, needing the extra height to see. "It was the first sign that none of us, the warriors who'd fought for Chaos, would be getting our due. But orks were never common on Tranquility so..." She shrugs, watching the match.

(5:08:41 PM) Ikiryo: He nods. "...I joined the police to make a difference, to help people." He sighs. "Have you ever had a really bad nightmare? One you never thought you'd wake up from?"
(5:10:20 PM) ***Linny_Bloodsgrowl looks away from the fight to nod at him. "What warrior hasn't?"
(5:13:08 PM) Ikiryo: "I had one, when I was a long younger. It came back, every single night. I was being chased by a monster through the shadows, too weak to fight it and too slow to escape it." He bites a plush lip. "It turned out that the creature was real."

(5:14:48 PM) ***Linny_Bloodsgrowl tilts her body to better face him. "What kind of monster was it? A ratking?"
(5:16:21 PM) Ikiryo: "One of the Fey. They feed on emotions, drain away parts of your very being until there is nothing left but a hollow shell they can shape as they will." He shakes his head.
(5:17:40 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "Oh, one of those wormeaters. How'd you get rid of it?"
(5:20:35 PM) Ikiryo: "I...I watched it. Paid attention to the places it chased me through in my dreams every night and kept a dream journal. Fey are smart but they are not creative. It was chasing me through copies of places it physically was. I tracked it down and...beat it to death with an old iron fire poker my grandfather had." He shivers.
(5:21:07 PM) Ikiryo: "I may not have been through what you've been through...but I know what it's like to see your life fall apart and nothing look the same afterwards. I'm sorry for what happened to you."
(5:24:38 PM) ***Linny_Bloodsgrowl regards Eden for a long moment, a shade of new-found respect on her face. "....thank you." She turns back to the match. "I'm glad your grandfather had an iron poker, and that you somehow had enough strength to swing it."
(5:25:13 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "With those noodle arms."
(5:25:31 PM) Ikiryo: "Well...believe it or not I was a pretty athletic kid at eleven." He smiles slightly.
(5:26:20 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "I don't believe it." She says, lips quirked slightly up.
(5:28:24 PM) Ikiryo: "I was...I didn't develop much past that but I was on my football team at that age." He shrugs. "It might have been the Fey's doing. Shaping me towards a form where I can't feel physically imposing or strong, so I'm always a good target for fear harvesting. I didn't exactly ask it."
(5:28:58 PM) Ikiryo: His smile grows slightly. "But after that, I wanted to help people. So I decided I wanted to be a cop..."
(5:32:41 PM) Ikiryo: There is a roar as the ork cuts down, severing the dark eldarin's arm and ending the fight. Medics quickly head out to prevent her bleeding out as they organize the next match.
(5:35:11 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "Haha!" Linny pumps her arm into the air as the fight is called. "What a swing that was!" She leans back on the armrest, looking at him again. "So, you became a cop?"
(5:36:33 PM) Ikiryo: "Despite apperances, yes. I was a data analyst, I helped solve crimes and plan attacks for the attack teams." He nods
(5:38:33 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: Linny narrows her eyes. "But that's all in the past, what do you do now?"
(5:39:47 PM) Ikiryo: "...I asked to do something physically, to actually be a field agent." He sighs. "So they stuck me undercover...with Reise."
(5:40:54 PM) ***Linny_Bloodsgrowl snorts. "In the modelling thing?"
(5:42:49 PM) Ikiryo: "...yes." He shrinks a bit. "As a girl."
(5:45:48 PM) ***Linny_Bloodsgrowl shakes her head. "We've really got to get some meat on your bones."
(5:46:53 PM) Ikiryo: "But yeah...Reise thinks her superior officer is deliberately messing with her and me."
(5:47:18 PM) Ikiryo: The next fight starts up, a heavily armoured Aasimar brawling with armoured fists against a massive lizard creature.
(5:49:57 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "You know what that thing is?"
(5:52:35 PM) ***Linny_Bloodsgrowl gestures at the lizard creature.
(5:54:01 PM) Ikiryo: He frowns. "...I think it's a Drakon. They are geneshaped creatures made from dragon DNA. Highly illegal to make."
(5:56:41 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "Should be a good fight then! And I don't doubt your superior officer is messing with you.  That's basically the whole perk of being in charge: getting to jerk around the people under you."
(5:58:57 PM) Ikiryo: "People in charge are SUPPOSED to use it to help everyone." He sighs...and blinks a few times as massive torrent of fire from the creature spews over the Aasimar. "Yeah, that's a Drakon. Not illegal to own but illegal to create."
(6:02:39 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "We have very different experiences with people in power," Linny says, watching the fight with glee. "It's not illegal to own one? That's good to know..."
(6:03:46 PM) Ikiryo: "They are sociopathic, consumed with ideas of destroying all lesser crea...I'm not turning you away from the idea."
(6:05:43 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "No, keep going," Linny waves vaguely at him. "I want to hear the other reasons I'd want to have one~"
(6:07:46 PM) Ikiryo: He looks at her...and rolls his eyes. "They were made to be bodyguards but it turned out they were all utterly insane. The minds are malformed. Not enough to stop the functioning but enough to make them all murderous monsters."
(6:09:22 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "Do you think they'd let me buy it?" She says out of the corner of her mouth, engrossed in the match.
(6:09:49 PM) Ikiryo: "I doubt it...and it would try to kill you if you did."
(6:11:29 PM) Linny_Bloodsgrowl: "It would *try.*" Now it is Linny's turn to roll her eyes. "I'm tougher than any monster or fighter in that arena."
