- [19:19] Leni exclaims, "Hey, Ro!"
- [19:19] Leni exclaims, "Rolo! Roly poly!"
- [19:22] "Hello."
- Taking just a moment to yawn, Ro would walk over towards Leni to just simply wave at them with a simple bored expression on his face. Walking over towards Leni, the Champion would seem to go and give them a hug, except...
- Well.
- The harder metal hand moved to just punch Valero on the chest lightly.
- "Don't lie to me again."
- Though after the simple brief little punch, a turn-
- "How's it going?"
- (Ro)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:23] Shenz would stand behind Valero confused on who this ro persone is
- (Shenz)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:23] Leni offers Ro a hug, regardless of what punishment he may or may not inflict on Valero. Not her pig, not her farm. It's probably all in good fun, right? Totally.
- "Great! We're gonna go draw some stuff and grow some things on Os' walls. Cuz it seems like fun and I asked a spirit and they said that'd be a good gift for them?"
- Just what kind of spirits is she communing with? Perhaps it's best not to ask too many questions. The druid takes several handfuls of acorns from her pockets and shows them off to the Teraphim.
- "Wanna come!?"
- (Leni)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:25] No attempt would be made to dodge the punch, Valero knew this was coming, and like the proper lunatic he was, he made no effort to even attempt to dodge it.
- The impact of the fist causes him to wince, as he slides back across the grass a bit, before slowly shaking his head.
- "Feel better?"
- The warlord snickered, before talking a few steps forward to regain his spot next to Leni, wiping some blood from his lips, revealing a wide grin. "In my defense, I only found out about the four year part when speaking with Finley, but that's besides the point."
- Shoulders would shrug, before his gaze drifted between Leni, and Ro.
- "But yeah. We're gonna go have some fun, want to tag along?"
- (Valero Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:27] A brief huff came after the question was given, and afterwards he would just smile with a single nod to come.
- "More that satisfied, yes."
- The hug was given towards Leni, and then soon after a single hum to follow while in contemplation-
- Was the Champion down to do graffiti?
- "Of course, let's go."
- (Ro)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:27] Leni asks, "Great! Known anyone else that wants to come?"
- [19:28] Leni exclaims, "More the merrier!"
- [19:28] Ro says, "Nope..."
- [19:28] Shenz says, "i think the 4 of us is enough for know miss leni"
- [19:28] Leni exclaims, "--Hey! Lon!"
- [19:28] Leni asks, "You wanna come make Os' walls less ugly!?"
- [19:28] Leni shouts over an offer to join in the vandalism to the Arch Druid. Yes. She definitely did that.
- (Leni)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:28] Leni exclaims, "It's gonna be my gift to a spirit! And it'll be fun!"
- [19:29] Aerilon just... blinks at the offer.
- (Aerilon Tsuchai)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:29] Aerilon Tsuchai says, "If... that is what it is, I suppose I must accompany this criminal endevour.."
- [19:29] Leni exclaims, "Haha, great!"
- [19:29] Leni exclaims, "We got paint and acorns and stuff!"
- [19:30] Aerilon Tsuchai says, "It is.. an unorthodox method, but I suppose it.. certainly fits with the energy you bring"
- [19:30] Shenz would also be courios about who this new persone joining us is
- (Shenz)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:31] Shenz looks at him for a bit and stops careing
- (Shenz)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:36] Leni leads the band of would-be-vandals behind her, skipping along with purpose. She knows precisely where she's going; this is something she'd scouted out in days before when considering proper tribute to her new ally.
- The canvas? One Osrona's mighty (might boring) exterior, pristine walls.
- She smiles up at it, seeing not that bland surface. No, instead she sees potential. The druid drops a hefty sack from her shoulder. Hundreds upon hundreds of acorns spill out, along with a multitude of paint cans; there's pigments of so many shades. The reveler has come ready.
- "Okay! Grab whatever you guys wanna! Let's have some fun!" she chirrups merrily.
- (Leni)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:36] Leni exclaims, "There's lots of stuff we can grow on the walls- or you can paint or draw whever you want! It'll be great!"
- [19:38] *Shenz would look at the paint*
- hm
- (Shenz)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:39] Ro takes the spray paint and walks up towards the walls with both of his hands filled with red and blue respectively. Painting with the red and spraying it, Ro would make sure to make a proper figure like portion of shadows. With the blue coming across, it would only work to mix with the wet paint and make a vibrant purple.
- The utilization of both was something that the Teraphim enjoyed, so when it all came to meet with the same exact replica of a purple bunny he smiled widely. Ro would repeat the same thing, but this time with something that was much more darker to show a 'shadow' of the bunny.
- It was a dangerous came, but it was proper and fair.
- (Ro)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:39] Shenz says, "so"
- [19:39] Well, Valero couldn't really do much in the way of growing stuff, but he could paint things(poorly).
- "I already know what I'm gonna paint."
- A nod follows, as he waltzes over towards the stack of paint cans, grabbing a green, and brow can, as well as a few brushes, before making his way over towards the wall.
- "This'll be fun!"
- With that exclamation, Valero would get to work on his painting something fancy.
- (Valero Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:42] *Shenz would pick up some paint and just chuck it at the wall*
- art my friends
- (Shenz)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:43] Led out to a rather delightfully colourful clearing, the Archdruid moves his eye from the garish stone wall, to the mismatched collection of paints and acorns with a hint of apprehension.
- Is a crime technically an act of war, when committed by heads of state?
- He gives the paint a wide berth, partially out of fear of dirtying the cape billowing ever so slightly off the ground, and partly because he wasn't entirely sure about participating.
- "This is... I would suppose, technically, within our purview for Osrona's rebuilding..."
- (Aerilon Tsuchai)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:46] "Yeah! Sure!" she chirps back to the archdruid. Of course that is definitely not at all why she's doing it. It is one parts gift to a spirit, one part desire, and a third part for the sheer heck of it. That third part is really almost indistinguishable from the second one.
- Leni takes a fistful up of those acorns and starts infusing them with mana, whispering to them, then pushing them into the ground at the base of the offending wall every few inches. As she continues, planting new ones, the others behind her steadily begin to break ground and spread up the wall.
- "Draw whatever you want! Do whatever you want! Grow somethin', paint something! Just don't be boring!"
- That's the only thing she really asks. Boredom and stagnancy here will strictly not be tolerated.
- (Leni)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:46] Leni exclaims, "Plenty of paints and seeds and flowers to work with! Don't be shy!"
- [19:46] Aerilon Tsuchai says, "Hmm.."
- [19:49] *once again Shenz would pick up a bucket of piant and chuck it at the wall*
- this is true art my friends
- (Shenz)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:53] The courier wheels off to the side, and winds up smack dab in front of the corner wall. It seemed that the druid had already rallied a set of companions to their holy work. Sneaking up from behind Leni, Armondt smirks, nods, and crouches down at her side. His hands plant onto the grass and soil underfoot, and he starts channeling his own mana into the earth.
- Slowly and steadily, cosmic-aspected nature magic pulses from the point of his touch on the ground. They run on into the vines towards the edge of the wall, and nourish them. The wild growth on the corbeled wall starts to propagate still further, and so the vines and trees start to sprout up a little bit faster, and with more verve.
- "Howdy. Sorry I missed ya assemblin' all this, but y'all seem to have it well in hand. Lemme help."
- (Armondt)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:55] "Wait... I can make it better."
- Valero would mumble in the midst of his painting, he'd drop his brush and sprint away from the walls, and over towards the paint buckets, grabbing a can of yellow, and black, before sprinting towards the wall.
- So far, he had drawn a tree, but now??? But now, things were about to get well, and truly wild.
- Which meant, he drew a smiley face on it with the yellow paint. "Oh yeah. It's all coming together now." With that, he'd take the black paint he had gathered, in order to paint around the tree, to give it a proper background.
- Though he does halt his painting once more to glance back towards Armondt, offering him a wave. With that, he'd get back to work painting! Sure it wasn't good, but he could only do so much with claw-like hands. Though it was still marginally better than his previous drawing of the pirate...
- Probably.
- (Valero Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:57] Alastor was late.
- Yet he was content. Their planned art session quickly came about and he would smile. Bringing along his own supplies he would look at the walls and plan out his next deed, he already knew what it was.
- "Sorry I'm late." Would be the only words he would say as he began working.
- Paint would be flung on the walls while him and a clone began to work on their greatest creation next. A picture of a certain Rhoynish.
- A monkey with a lute would be drawn. Outlandish figures and ugly truffs of hair would line his head. IT was something he enjoyed greatly, and he was sure to make it a doozy.
- His magnum opus.
- And when finishing he would clean his hands off, taking a few steps back to observe the mural.
- Perfection.
- "Oh... how I love doing this...."
- (Alastor Hirsch)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:59] In truth, Ro wasn't an artist. The Mistseer of Myllenoris was just trying his best to spray paint the simple bunnies that went in a trail on the boring walls of Osrona to the best of his ability. With every single bunny that was added, Ro would go and spray paint black lines to indicate movement between the bunnies.
- But it wasn't until that he was at the finishing product of having several that he would toss the evidence to the side. How juvenile. The notion of not caring about the idea of being caught was a massive one. However, that only made him enjoy the idea of trouble that much more.
- So with the utilization of the blue, green, and red cans, Ro would go about to spray paint crystals and crystal effects on the top, left, and right of the crystals. Each of them being cased in some white lightly to bring the crystal to life with ease.
- "This is brilliant."
- (Ro)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:02] Apprehensively, apparently egged on by the young Druid's very weak reinforcement, Aerilon creeps up to the wall. As the others set to work- even channeling their mana towards growing the plantlife upon the ramparts- his confidence seems to grow.
- The Archdruid takes one hand and in a single fluid motion traces it across his chest, pressing it against his heart, and then clamps his entire palm onto the wall itself.
- With a deep inhale, a single picture forms in his mind.
- Then, slowly, it begins to form on the wall itself as well.
- Vibrant blue crystals crackle and expand, pressing outwards from the stone at the behest of the man's mana, their jagged edges pressing against one another to form half-competent lines, big and small.
- There's the hint of a melancholic smile as the details fill in, both in his mind and upon the stoneworks, meshing together to form a single figure- a woman, regally dressed.
- A stylized image of Asta Hargrave, although a crude one, summoned forth from the stone.
- The smile turns to a frown as he looks upon it, but only for a moment, before his face returns to being expressionless.
- "This is... a useful exercise, I see."
- (Aerilon Tsuchai)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:05] Leni goes about her planting while the others paint and draw and doodle.
- "It's fine! C'mon and join in, guys!" she welcomes the courier and the rifleman as they arrive- fashionably late. Not that this is the sort of occasion one absolutely had to be punctual too.
- The younger of the druids marks where those drawings on the wall are and, as she whispers a name to each seed, politely asks they grow around the artwork. It's her only request of them, and they seem to oblige as they begin their choking ascent up the wall.
- Bit by bit, seed by seed, and brush-stroke by brush-stroke the wall takes on something far more colorful and less oppressive.
- Fanciful drawings of forest scenes, of frolicking rabbits, of what might be some political commentary, and an homage to a fallen leader. They are as varied as they are colorful.
- "Hey. Those all look good! I like it! Keep goin' however long you wanna!"
- She continues her nigh-sacred task. Planting, growing, encouraging those seeds with all their potential to reach for their highest along with the courier trailing behind her.
- (Leni)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:07] *Shenz just sits and wait to go home*
- (Shenz)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:10] Everything was nearly finished with his glorious painting, he just needed to add two more finishing touches, that being a moon... For some reason, and by far the most important part of the piece, two random purple crocs resting on the grass.
- Which would only take a few more moments, but it was eventually finished, and in his own opinion it was perfect.
- Even though in reality it was bit shit.
- A few steps back would be taken, as he truly took in the art, a wide grin plastered across his face, as his gaze drifted over towards the other member's drawings.
- "Good work everyone."
- (Valero Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:10] Armondt remains fairly taciturn, focused on his magical work. His fingers feel out the rest of the network of roots and vines that spread out in front of them, and he encourages each of them to continue as they do. The druid shuts his eyes, concentrates, and lets the life just flow.
- The vines spread thoroughly up betwixt the cracks and around them and just about wherever they wished, so as long as they follow Leni's polite request. Some of the roots even manage to pluck out of the ground from the acorns that the druid's planted, and they curl and twist towards the foot of the mural.
- (Armondt)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:17] Something about the situation, whether it be the displays of Druidic magic, or the level of chaotic energy involved in doing a petty crime, enthralls the generally poised Mistseer.
- His own memorial completed, he turns to Ro's section of the wall, eye focusing intensely on the rabbit shapes conjured by the mass of paint and magic. Tendrils of grass knit together into vine-like masses, following his gaze, twisting and climbing their way up the masonry to contort themselves into similar rabbit shapes.
- Each careful to avoid the claimed sections, the plant-bunnies cluster around the edges of Ro's artwork, towards the bottom of the wall, living images rooting themselves permanently into the brickwork.
- "I suppose it is said that art is the greatest method to honour the lost"
- (Aerilon Tsuchai)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:19] In Ro's eyes the additional grass was perfection in motion, and it only made the art that much better with the touch of the artist's grass.
- "Good stuff, Aerilon."
- It was good to know that they, too, remembered Kalina. No matter how many years have passed, Ro would always mourn and be dissatisfied with the life he lives without her. It was akin to a moth without a flame or a ying without a yang, and every day was just more horrible than the last.
- Maybe one day Ro will grow up, but that won't be anytime soon.
- "You know your way with paint and nature, do you Archdruid?"
- (Ro)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:20] Aerilon Tsuchai says, "I have been told I do quite the satisfactory waltz, as well"
- [20:22] All these separate pieces, though disparate in style and content, create something that is altogether greater than each alone. Much like any ecosystem, each drawing or contribution has its own something that it contributes to the party.
- Leni dumps out acorn after acorn, after acorn onto the ground, coaxing them into the soil. All the combined magics make for wonderful fuel. Several of the first ones placed in the ground have already started to curl tendrils over the top of the high up parapets.
- The druid takes a moment to stand back, to smile, and to revel. To bask, to admire, to feel. It's all part of the process and, ultimately, the gift to the spirit she'd conversed with.
- She sees the work and she is satisfied. Not just with the physical results, but with what she sees in the others who also begin to move and feel and create.
- It is good work, in her mind. Without a doubt. Whether Osrona likes it or not this section of their ugly wall has become a mural and a garden all in one.
- "Y'know. I'm really glad everyone was here! And doing this. I think it feels nice!"
- (Leni)
- ------
- [22:55] Leni skips back to admire the handiwork. And yet she is disappointed it to so swiftly cleansed away. Not only that, but there a note awaits her. She plucks it from the wall, cants her head, and scratches her scalp.
- From the druid there's a hum as she rolls up the paper and tucks it away.
- A response. A fitting one, to the city that has done little else but kill and warp those she once called friends. With lofty titles, and addiction, and war. She takes the old stick of red chalk from her pack to make a more poignant message.
- Sure it makes her get woozy and the edges of her vision warble, but the message is most important. Back onto the wall the druid scrawls her rebellious, impish reply.
- The title on the page holds no sway over her. The city might have ground her friends to pieces in its gears. It will not catch her in the same snare if she has anything to say about it. Not now, not ever.
- (Leni)
