Rebels bands, whose leaders each pretend to be Spartacus, striking all over the region confuse the Romans. One of two columns with mainly women and children thus escapes, the other is captured and bloodily made into examples, crucified along the Via Appia. Once Crassus realizes the truth about Tiberius, Kore suffers the same fate. Spartacus cunningly prepared the battle field he chose to oppose Crassus's legions in a desperate last battle, with Gannicus in commanded of a mounted reserve to pincer the Roman infantry. Nevertheless, the last true gladiators fall one by one, so Crassus and Caesar triumph, only to be forced politically to allow Pompey, who actually arrived to late, to take the main credit, so as to forge the triumvirate which will take over Rome.
Spartacus and his outnumbered rebels make one last attempt to win freedom in an epic final battle against the Romans led by Marcus Crassus.
I've seen finales of shows such as Burn Notice and White Collar, shows I thought would hold no rival when it comes to finishing. Yet although the entire show does not compare, the finale is the best I have ever experienced. The speech. The blood. The battles. The heroic death. Beyond what I could have pictured. Earlier mentioned shows' finales were exceptional because of how the characters were able to live life to their fullest beyond what we expected. Despite Spartacus dying, his legacy lives on beyond these other characters, if nothing else for the hope he inspires to strive for something greater than yourself. The climax where the credits included every character that held meaning in the show put this over the top, only seeking to remind viewers of all the great hero has lost and all that he has gained. Although Spartacus is somewhat of a guilty pleasure, I am proud to say that this finale is the embodiment of real life only wishing it could achieve such glory. This is how you end a show. Absolutely masterful.
Finale Spartacus &#39;Victory&#39; S03E10 <br/><br/>Spoiler Alert<br/><br/>Mannnnn that was an Epic Finale, Fight scenes were top notch, they outdone themselves in every department the costumes,the visual effects, the acting, the war, to me the only thing was lacking from its previous season was one on one combat, but now they have a bigger cast and characters and they have to give screen time to everyone so that can be overlooked. Some of you would not like all the Blood, Gore and Nudity and criticized the show in the past, but according to historians it was like this back then and production team tried to depict that story. <br/><br/>The finale was moving yet it was full of adrenaline , it is how one final chapter of a story should be made or written somehow it bring backs the memory of LOTR final battle.The production team stayed on the course and didn&#39;t tried to bent the history, So most of them had to die and it was justified. But I feel sadden and angry both at the same time, when they crucified Gannicus, or when they beheaded Crixus in the previous episode, or when Saxa left the world, but the most moving scene was when the Spear infiltrated Spartacus from behind yet with his trembling feet he tried to grasp the only souvenir he has of his late wife, and he left the world in the end,,,,,,yet the ones who lives paid full tribute and respect to their savior &#39;the bringer of the rain&#39; &#39;Almighty Spartacus&#39; by making his tomb with serpent shield on the top. Manu Bennett was awesome so as Liam McIntyre and Dustin Clare and rest of the cast in their respected role. It will not disappoint you....
