  1. Covet: -When they pulled up to the restaurant, it wasn't overly busy but there was a decent crowd of people, inside. There was a man playing on the piano, tickling the ivories as it were. The sound filtering out to the street. The Limo stopped in front of the doors, and the driver hopped out to open their door for them. Eli climbed out and nodded at the driver, re-buttoning his suit, before he leaned over to hold his hand out for Bliss.- We're here, My Dear. -he told her with his charming smile-
  2. Tsaaq: “Ooo I haven’t been here yet.” She said as she stepped out of the limo and took his hand. “Have you?” Bliss asked him and gave the driver a nod yet again. “Thank you very much.” She said to him and went back to walking towards the restaurant with Eli.
  3. Covet: I have not, but I heard that it's had great reviews, and it seemed like the perfect classy place to bring one of the classiest women to. -he told her, trading her hand over to his other, so he could place the now free one around her waist, before opening the door for her, as they went in.
  4. Tsaaq: She waved her free hand at him. "Aw Eli stop, you're too sweet." She murmured and stepped on the carpet in front of the doors of the resturant carefully in her heels. Her gaze rose to the doors and she looked to Eli. "Such a gentleman!" Bliss said with a faux gasp. She grinned and walked through the open door. "So you've read reviews? That means that this place is fairly immaculate I presume?"
  5. Covet: -Eli nodded at her as he walked in behind her- Very reputable, clean and classy. Polished glasses and floors and a clean and friendly staff. -He told her chiming off some of the reviews that he read. He walked up to the counter and looked to the guy standing there.- Reservation for two, should be under Maverick and Cohen. // -The guy gave them a greasy smile, and looked down the list. when he talked it was a very thick long island accent, somehow making him even more of a tool.- Naht a prablem, Right this way, I've gat your table right ova here. -he led them over to a table for two near the piano, where there was in fact a bottle of champagne already on ice waiting for them.- Your Serva Jessica, will be here soon. -The guy told them then made his way back to the host desk.- // -Eli followed the guy, and pulled out a chair for Bliss, before he sat down himself, unbuttoning his jacket again before sitting down across from her, looking up at the guy- Thanks. -he looked around and nodded his head- I'm impressed so far.
  6. Tsaaq: Bliss eyed the placed and a smile formed on her lips. "This place is so lovely." She said as she followed the man deeper into the place. When they reached their table and she tilted her head at Eli as he pulled out her chair. "You didn't have to do that." Bliss said softly and took her seat, carefully sliding it in then crossed one leg over the other. "But thank you." She told Eli then nodded at the male. "And thank you." She took a long look at the silverware and nodded. "At Castanga I used to have to clean my instruments before eating, so I am too."
  7. Covet: If I didn't do it, I would feel very improper. -He said with a chuckle.- Yeah, well that place was also built in a hole. Why would you want so many stairs? -he asked as he reached for the champagne, looking it over- I wish I knew more about these things, I don't really know what makes a good Champagne. Would you like some my dear? -he asked her-
  8. Tsaaq: "Usually I don't allow men to pull chairs out for me but you get a pass because you're just being sweet." She said with a smile. "I don't know, for aesthetic I suppose." Bliss shook her head and laughed a bit. She took the napkin from her place setting and unfolded it into her lap. "Yes, just a teensy bit seems fine." Bliss answered. "Well it depends on the type of grapes it's made with, how dry it is, it's surprisingly scientific. That's what my grandmother taught me." She shrugged a little.
  9. Covet: Sound interesting, I wonder how much that job would make, Champagne Specialist. -He said pondering for a moment, then put the bottle in his lap to twist off the cage for the cork so that he could pop open the bottle. When he applied pressure on the cork it shot across the room and hit a wineglass at another table, sending the contents across the top of the table. Eli's mouth dropped and he held his hand up, sinking his head down- Sorry! -he looked at Bliss and gave a sheepish smile- Did I mention I know nothing about champagne, including the safety of it?
  10. Tsaaq: Her mouth hung open as she ducked down then turned to look at the people at the other table. "Oh dear." She whispered. Bliss covered her mouth and turned back to Eli. "It's alright." She said with a reassuring smile. "Next time we let the waiter or waitress pour for us, they have a level of expertise in handling champagne corks." Bliss giggled.
  11. Covet: -He laughed out lightly, nodding his head, at her- Yeah, that's a great idea. -He looked over at the other table he'd just flooded, seeing a staff member cleaning up the mess, he then looked down when he felt something wet on his lap. The over flow from the champagne all over, he lifted up the bottle and tucked his leg under the table with another nervous laugh. He tipped a little bit into her glass, and then a similar amount into his as well, before placing the bottle back into the ice bin.// -Jessica came up to the table with the cute couple all spiffied up. She gave them both a smile and cleared her throat- Welcome to Bistro, My name is Jessica, I'll be your waitress this evening. Our special tonight is the 6 oz tenderloin steak, with white cheddar scalloped potatoes and asparagus sauteed in a garlic butter sauce. What can I get for you lovely folks this evening? -she gave what looked like an exhausted smile, hiding the fact that she was into the final stretch of her double shift week. For the overtime she reminded herself, as she looked between the two people at the table.-
  12. Tsaaq: Bliss took a small dainty sip from her glass and placed it on the table once more. "Tastes like sec champagne." She said to him with a nod. "Good evening Jessica." She said sweetly then she listened closely to the woman. Bliss' eyes wandered down to the menu and she bit her lip while attempting to read it as fast as she could. "The special sounds very good, actually." She trailed off. "Do you know what you want?" Bliss asked Eli, not wanting to order if he wasn't ready.
  13. Covet: -He started to ask what sec champagne was, but then was interupted by the waitress- Oh, Uh. I think I'll have theeeeeeeeee hmmmmmm, I'll have the grilled chicken pene pasta in the white wine cream sauce, with the Garlic butter asparagus. -he finally rattled off to the waitress.// -she wrote down their orders and gave them a polite smile- I'll get those right in, and bring by a bread basket for you. -She walked off into the kitchen leaving them to eachother- // -Eli looked over to Bliss and grabbed his glass tipping it back and sipping from it.- What is sec champagne and how does it differ from other champagne?
  14. Tsaaq: "Wonderful choice, darling." She said to Eli. Bliss closed her menu and nodded at the waitress. "Marvelous. Thank you so much." She said to Jessica and brought her glass of champagne to her lips once again. "Well sec means that it's sweet. If it was demi-sec that would mean it's a dessert champagne. If the champagne was dry it would be brut." Bliss began to explain. "It's a bunch of knowledge about nothing honestly. It's just expensive carbonized wine at it's core." She shrugged. "All of the hoity toity 'sophisticated' things my grandmother taught me seems so useless." She made air quotes with her free hand. Bliss put her glass down then put her hands in her lap.
  15. Covet: -He smiled and listened to her, enjoying the conversation, regardless of how "useless" she thought it was.- They might be useless for everyday application, but that knowledge proved useful for our conversation. You taught me something new today. Who knows, maybe we'll be on a trivia show in the future and will be asked a question about champagne, and we'll win a million dollars. -he told her very animatedly, with his charming smile. // -Jessica came back out with a couple of glasses of water and a basket of bread for them both, setting it down at their table giving them a smile before checking on some other guests. -
  16. Tsaaq: Bliss shrugged her shoulders slightly and laughed a bit. "Well I suppose that's true." She replied. "Be sure to remember that for whenever you decide to go on Jeapordy." Her eyes lifted as Jessice set down the water and the basket of bread. "Thank you!" She said to her. Her gaze drifted to Eli and she smirked. "So this was your big surprise for my birthday?" Bliss inquired with a raise of her brow.
  17. Covet: I am an elephant, I shall never forget. -he told her trying to sound posh, and failing because you're dumb Eli.- Thank you -he said to the waitress as she walked by dropping off things for them. Hearing her question he gave her a slight nod- Yes, a fancy night out on the down, candle lit dinnner, piano playing. -he told her putting his hand across the table palm up- Something special for turning another decade, and being on this planet so that I could meet you. -he told her.-
  18. Tsaaq: She laughed and shook her head at him while smiling. Her head to look back at the pianist and tilted her head. "It is very lovely. Thank you for all this." Bliss told him with a nod. "You're so amazing." Bliss said dreamily and placed her arm on the table and tried to put her hand in Eli's. She cleared her throat and inched her chair a little closer to the table awkwardly because she couldn't reach. "There we go." Bliss whispered and finally put her hand in his.
  19. Covet: -He chuckled and scooted closer himself so that it wasn't a strain for her.- You are very welcome My Dear, I'm glad you think so. It means I'm doing something right. -he took another sip from his glass and set it back down, looking over at her.- I may have also gotten you another small token. Something to remind you that with each year that you grow older, you grow wiser, smarter and even more beautiful then the last. -He pulled out the long box from his pocket and slid it over to her.- Happy Birthday, Bliss.
  20. Tsaaq: "Are you kidding? You're immaculate as far as I'm concerned. Truthfully I'm usually over a guy by now. I'm really happy that I'm not over you. That just means this is something special." Bliss smirked at him then looked down at the box. "More presents? Eli you give me too many nice things." She laughed a bit. "What is it?" Bliss tilted her head and took the long box. She furrowed her brows as she pulled the box open.
  21. Covet: - He couldn't help the color rising up his cheeks as she spoke about things being special- I'm really glad you haven't gotten over me. I'd be crushed. So I really hope we can make this something special. -He chuckled and shrugged- Just something so you never forget how the world sees you, exactly how you are. [Check your inbox :D]
  22. Covet: [distracted with Andy...sorry...XD]
  23. Tsaaq: ((What the hell man lol.))
  24. Tsaaq: ((AWWW))
  25. Covet: [XD]
  26. Tsaaq: She gasped as she looked at the bracelet and the brought her gaze to his face. "Oh my gosh! This is so lovely." Bliss said with a smile. "I'll put it on now." She mumured as she fiddled with the jewlery and put it on her wrist. She sighed a little and stared at the new gift. "You're a beautiful person too, you know that?" She said to him. "And I'm glad to know such a great person like you. Thank you." Bliss reached over to put try and put her hand on his again.
  27. Covet: Thank you my dear. It looks perfect. -He took her hand in his, and at that moment Jessica came back up to their table to drop their food off.// Here you are. Sorry for the wait, I noticed you two having a moment and I didn't want to interupt. -she said apologetically and set their food down in front of each of them.- Enjoy and I'll be back to check on you guys in just a few. // -Eli looked up away from Bliss's face as their food was sat down in front of them. He felt dumb because he'd almost forgotten about it.- Oh hey look food. -he chuckled and leaned back grabbing his untensil.- Bon Apeitit -he told her in very poorly accented french.-
  28. Tsaaq: "Oh it's quite alright! Thank you so much." Bliss waved her hand at the woman after she retracted it from Eli's. "Merci." She said to Eli with a laugh. She picked up her fork and started on her mashed potatoes. "You're getting tres bien at French mon petit ami." Bliss said after swallowing her food and dabbing the corners of her lips with her napkin before going to put more on her fork.
  29. Covet: -Eli chuckled and shook his head- You flatter me, but I know it's horrible. I don't know any other languages, nothing that's actually useful. Hebrew really doesn't have purpose outside of church, and jewish things. But it's great if you really want to confuse people -he told her taking a bit of his chiken and pasta. He held his napkin in his hand, occasionally wiping his mouth when needed.- This isn't half bad. Rich, but still light. How's yours? -he asked her.-
  30. Tsaaq: Bliss dabbed her face with her napkin once again and laughed. "It's not useless. You can use it when you don't want to interact with people." She said with a shrug. "And French isn't that hard at all, I've heard way worse." Bliss took her fork and knife and cut into the corner of her steak and placed it in her mouth. "It's pretty delicious. I don't really eat steak but the textures are good." She answered as she covered her mouth. "I think I like this place."
  31. Covet: I like it too. It's a great atmosphere, decent service, great food. I'll definitely come again. -he said taking another couple of bites, before wiping his mouth again, then sipped from his water.- Everything about tonight has been great, I admit I was concerned it wasn't going to live up to the hype, and It would have killed the night, but It's been wonderful.
  32. Tsaaq: "I always have a good time with you." She smiled between picking at her meal. "Tonight wasn't over the top or anything. It was honest and enjoyable." Bliss reached from her champagne glass and sipped whatever was left. "Sometimes simplicity is a fantastic thing." She put her glass down and looked down at what was left on her plate. "I think I'm going to need a to go box, I can't finish all this right now." Bliss laughed.
  33. Covet: I agree. Leftovers for breakfast. -he chuckled went to stand up- I'll go ahead and get us paid for and get some boxes for us. -he said getting up and heading over to the desk. He pulled his wallet out of his back pocket and pulled out his card to hand over to the guy at the hostess desk. He ran it and gave their server a good 40% tip for being so kind to them, and giving them their space. He let the guy know they'd need a couple of togo boxes, and went to sit back down.-
  34. Tsaaq: She nodded at him and tapped the napkin over her lips one more time then placed her napkin on the table since she was done eating. "Okay I'll wait here." She said to Eli and watched him from the table. "Are you sure you don't want me to pay half or something?" Bliss asked him and reached for one of the to-go boxes.
  35. Covet: No, I don't want you pay for half, This was part of your Birthday present. You just needed to enjoy yourself tonight. -he told her and smiled as Jessica set down their togo boxes for them-// Thank you for coming in, we hope you come again. -she told them before walking off to bus one of her other tables.- // -Eli went about putting his food into the togo box. -
  36. Tsaaq: "Fine fine." She said and began putting her food in her box. "Thank you for being such a joy. Have a good night!" Bliss told her and sealed her box up. "I can't even help with the tip?" She asked with a whisper and a laugh.
  37. Covet: I already took care of it -he told her- Forty percent even. -He said with a smile to Bliss- All you needed to do tonight was enjoy yourself. -He got up from the table and pushed his chair in, he held his box in one hand and his arm out for her- Shall we take a ride standing out of the moon roof of the limo while we drive back to the OCH, like some crazy cliche romance movie?
  38. Tsaaq: She stood up from the table took her box with him. "Next time you won't get able to get away with this. You're lucky it's my birthday." Bliss smiled at him. She took his arm and leaned against him for a moment as they walked. "Only if it's like one of those romance movies that's funny but not obnoxiously funny like most romantic comedies." She said as she walked with him.
  39. Covet: I will happily walk away with my win this time. -he said walking with her back outside where the driver was waiting across the street for them, ever so patiently.- No, no, it will be one of those Indie romance films that becomes critically aclaimed and adored by cult film fanatics. -he told her, leaning in to press a kiss to her forehead as they crossed the street.- We'll be heading back to the OCH, but drive slow we're going to stargaze and catch the breeze on the way home-
  40. Tsaaq: "Oh good." She sighed with relief. Bliss giggled and went to playfully kiss his cheek once he got into the limo with him. She crossed one leg over the other as Eli gave the driver the directions. Bliss waited on the car to move so she could go stick her head out through the limo sun roof and hopefully not fall out or anything of the sort.
  41. Covet: -Once the vehicle started moving he got up and poked his head out the roof and held his hands up for her to join him, and they rode like this to the house and did house things, because I'm tired and now my head is starting to hurt from this smoke x.x -
  42. Tsaaq: ((It's okay it's bed times.))
  43. Covet: [Yes...x.x and it's going to suck....I'm going to have to use alergy pills to not be miserable...x.x I hate benedryl]
  44. Tsaaq: ((D: At least that stuff makes you sleepy x.x))
