- Emily continued to watch Sonia do the work, and she nodded her head the entire while. "Remember, don't rush." The only words the said until Sonia had finished the work. Emily double checked it, gently poking the thread to ensure it was tight before a final nod was given. "Wonderful work Sonia." As she looked over towards the door she saw Agava.
- "Agava, wonderful timing! There are three more soldiers in the waiting area, each with a few minor injuries. I'd like for you to pick one of them, introduce yourself, check over their wounds, and show me how you would treat them. You don't have to worry about being in over your head, they're all minor injuries, nothing serious. So you pick whichever you feel most comfortable with."
- She looked over towards Sonia and said "Sonia just finished treating this man for numerous bite marks from a lupin in the maple groves." A smile was displayed as she waited for Agava to speak or do something.
- (TLDR, you pick the minor injury and rp treating it and what not. Dice roll for success 1=fail 2-3 success with a lot of help 4-5 success with minor help 6=success with no help needed.)
- (Emily Bell)
- The dryad approached the group in silent manner with her eyes jumping between Emily who began to explain the situation to her and the wounded soldiers of which she was being told about. She took a moment to look between remaining wounded soldiers before deciding to approach one of them and inspect their wounds form up close, starting from head and slowly trailing with her hands and eyes down to understand what exactly she was dealing with.
- "I... will try my best Emily… just need to see what I deal with..." the dryad said as she slowly inspected the wounded soldier.
- (Agava)
- Emily Bell says, "I know you will Agava, and don't worry. Aia and I are both here to help you if you have any questions. We want to guide you to sucess so whenever you are ready, feel free to begin."
- After inspecting the wounded soldier and identifying the wound which in this case ended up being a large swelling found on the right arm along with a visible scratch marks and single thorn lightly imbedded in the swollen skin.
- Remembering her previous ventures to MappleGrove Agava was able to narrow down which bush the thorn came from and proceeded to remove it carefully only to stare at the swelling with confused expression seeing that even if she knew what she was dealing with she didn't know how to get rid of the inflammation and potential poison from the thorn. With a puzzled expression she looked towards Emily as if hoping to ask her for potential advice.
- "I... might have narrowed down the issue but I am not exactly sure how to deal with properly, swelling as I presume is from the poisonous thorn bush..."
- (Agava)
- Emily watched the soldier, taking note of his various scratches and small thorns in the swollen tissue. "Alright Agava." she said before a smile formed. "You're a dryad, one in tune with nature. Drawing out the effects of a poisonous thorn is right in your wheelhouse. If you were a holy magi, you could use that to draw it out and pull it towards the magic's warmth. If you were a water magi, you'd be able to draw it out by focusing upon the water particles of the poison. As a nature magi you've more options though.
- You can utilize your magic to entice the poison toward your hand. You can focus your magic on creating a flower that will draw the poison. Or, you could take the non magical route of a mild injection of an anti-toxin. We've a large variety of them available." There was a nod of her head as she opened the drawer leading to numerous types of bottles, each specially made for dealing with a particular poison. She looked over towards Agava and then said "Which option would you like to try? The swelling is indeed caused from the body's reaction to the poison. It's causing inflammation of the surrounding skin which can be taken care of with herbs or magic"
- (Emily Bell)
- Her friend and mentors assistance and tips allowed Agava to take a quick moment to pick between few options she aws given only to nod to herself and reply to Emily while one of her own hands moved towards the swollen arm.
- "Thank you Emily... I think I know how to proceed..." The dryad said while staring at the thorn she held in the other hand to determine which plant exactly she was dealing with to understand what poison to link with before proceeding to slowly feed it with her own mana before starting to move as much of the substance towards one spot of the arm.
- Another problem came when the dryad had to extract the poison out of the body, leaving her to rustle in clear confusion before she ended up forming a needle like spike on her finger that remained close to the swollen and soon used it to puncture it to create small gap for the poison to sip through. The moment when she was sure the last drop of the poison was extracted the spike retracted, leaving nearly no trace of it ever entering the body.
- "S-So... what now? Am I done with the problem Emily or is there anything else that needs to be done?" the dryad asked, not knowing if she had to do anything more for the soldier.
- (Agava)
- Emily continued to watch Agava's work, paying close attention to her withdraw the poison. Agava had done well, especially when realizing she needed to release the poison from herself after drawing it into her.
- "Now that the poison is out, you'll need to apply some herbs, or use some magic to reduce the inflammation where the area was. After that is done place a gentle bandage while the underlying tissue recovers from being stretched due to the inflammation."
- She looked over to the soldier and then said "Once the bandage is placed, feel free to return any time to have it changed, they do get dirty rather quickly and the most important thing is keeping that area clean." A smile was given to the soldier as she patted him on the shoulder. She then waited for Agava to decide between magic or medicine. While she waited she opened a nearby drawer and withdrew a bandage for Agava to wrap around the mans swollen fleshy area.
- (Emily Bell)
- With Emily's explanation Agava managed to proceed without further complications as remembered which of the herbs that usually grew around her Grove had healing properties before allowing a stem to sprout out of her green arm on which leaves of specified herb began to grow to point where she could easily snap the stem away and gently crush it in her palm.
- She then proceeded to rest the partly crushed herb leaves across the swollen skin of her patient, ensuring that the herbs held to the skin before proceeding to grab a roll of bandage with a tendril that untangled from her hand and which she used to slowly spread the bandage around soldiers arm, ensuring that it wasn't too tightly rolled before proceeding to knot it in order to keep it from unrolling from the arm.
- Once she felt like her task was done she decided to slowly rise to her feet and look at Emily to hear her judgement regarding shoddiness and quality of the dryads work.
- (Agava)
- Emily was never one to directly talk down to her students, everyone learned and mademistakes while learning, that was part of growth and she wouldn't ever fault them for that. "You did very well Agava. I understand how overwhelming it can be. Jumping right into fixing someone when you've not done much studying. To me, it's the best way for someone to learn." She quickly checked over the bandage and sent the soldier on his way, nurses tended to the other two in the meantime. She then made her way over to Agava and patted her shoulder. "I'm proud of you Agava. After learning some of the options you could do, I saw how quickly you were able to grasp an understanding of what you needed to do. That's the trick about becoming a doctor though. There's never just one option when it comes to healing someone. You always have many choices." There was a slight nod of her head before she spokemore. "Sometimes the most difficult part isn't actually treating the patient, it's figuring out which solution is best for you and the patient. In time you'll be able to recognize the various different things you can do to help someone, and most of the time you will be able to explain those options to the patient and let them pick their own. For now, be very proud of yourself because you just helped someone. And you did it with your own two hands."

- Agava blinked on confusion while listening to Emily's prise, blushing to the prise, clearly not expecting anything for something she clearly had problems with.
- "T-Thank you Emily... I just did what I usually do when I have similar problems … though I wasn't sure if it would work similarly on someone else..."
- (Agava)
