- "When will this start?"
- "In about a week… I'm a little strapped for time so this is all quite last minute."
- A week? "I'll be away-"
- "On your mission, yeah I know," the man didn't elaborate on how he knew, maybe from Cinder? "Don't worry about it, Neo will find you if she has to. It'll probably start while you're on that mission, I'd hope so anyway… just keep in mind that I'm going to be off the grid for a while. You won't be able to come to me for advice."

- "I've got our mission details. We're heading to… Misenwood." Pyrrha looked on in concern as her leader paused. Ren had never been the most talkative of people, in fact it felt like the leadership position was more a burden to him than anything else, but she'd still never seen him lost for words. He shook his head a second later, however. "I also have who our escort is… it's Professor Arc."

- "Oh wow, it's going to be so cool learning from a pro," Nora broke the silent before it could become any more uncomfortable, hopping on two feet as they made their way towards the Bullheads.

- "I hear it's a common condition." Jaune didn't know whether to cry in happiness or slam his head into the ground as the young leader held his shoulders, allowing him to empty his stomach onto the forest floor. The hated Bullhead was already pulling away, and if he had his way it would stay far away, indeed. "There's nothing to be ashamed of."
- The fact that you felt you needed to add that says otherwise.
- God damned motion sickness… officially the ultimate reputation killer, whatever situation you were in. He'd honestly forgotten all about it. At least for the six seconds it took for the Bullhead to take off, upon which his stomach had helpfully reminded him.

- "Misenwood's not unusual, as far as border towns go. It hasn't been around as long as some, little over a hundred years or so, but it certainly has been one of the more successful. Many end with massacres, some don't even get off the ground – but this place is pretty quiet. The town itself lays in the middle of the forest Misen which it takes its name from. Some say that protects them from the Grimm, but I reckon it has more to do with the tall walls and relative proximity to Vale."

- "Fine, just keep an eye out and if anything happens…" Jaune pushed open the door to their room.
- "-if anything happens?" Ren prompted.
- A clock on a nearby wall ticked away.
- "Jaune? Professor Arc?"
- "Ah," he coughed, "yeah- uh… if anything happens then call me. Okay got to go, bye!" The scroll flicked off, quickly vanishing as he tucked it into his pocket. Jaune considered the situation with a quick sigh, running one hand through his hair. "Tell me you're an optical illusion."
- She didn't tell him anything. Not that she could. But she did bounce an empty bottle of beer off his head, grinning delightedly and clapping when it hit.
- A trickle of booze dribbled down his nose.
- "How many people did I kill in a past life to deserve this? Did I create the Grimm or something?" Jaune's coat came off with a sigh, shrugged out onto a nearby chair as he carefully made his way over to stand beside the girl. She was barefoot, having kicked her long boots off at the edge of the bed, but she'd certainly made herself comfortable.
- She lounged back with a contented sigh, draping her arms in the sheets above her head. It was an undeniably attractive sight, especially with how her tight pants hung on her hips. On the other hand it was Neo, and he knew her well enough to replace the word sexy with terrifying.
