  1. Seriously? I thought ratings were decent during the last few episodes (even if they aired a few months ago). Assuming this is from CN’s (or the official schedule’s) Twitter, I would take these "cancelled" claims with a grain of salt. Wouldn't we at least wait for something more substantiated? I'm not saying it's impossible the show is "complete" (which could mean a number of things), but I think we can afford to ask/wait for a little more proof. "Cancelled" means a show doesn't even finish the current season (unless the remaining episodes were already complete; and sometimes, not even then). Technically it would be more accurate to say it won’t be renewed. However, neither Ian nor the crew are acting in any way like it’s the last of the show; we just got new episode previews 2 months ago. There is no indication that it’s cancelled. And no shit nobody’s watching it because there haven’t been new episodes and of CN’s screwed up scheduling (which is MONTHS in advance).

  3. Another thing you have to consider are NDAs, annoying as they are. Any unaired production discussion is already disclosed in an NDA by default. It’s not uncommon for a series or creator to be radio silent about new episodes until very late before the network does something with it- that often results in EXTREMELY long stretches with next to no information (Steven Universe is a good example of this). And when active and talkative people are forced into silence, it's damn noticeable. Also, it'd be more expensive to halt production until they get confirmation of okay ratings and just delays the next season. The only bit of news was a new batch of episodes and the studios making separate spaces for each show to be worked on. Remember, Friday night is considered the death slot for most syndicated TV shows; a Sunday slot is concerning, some shows do all right depending on when they’re aired.

  6. It’s viewership has been slipping since late 2017; kids’ preferences are changing and tuning out. Not because its popular, but it gets ratings because its ALL THATS ON. There’s also been nothing about a 6th season since the post-movie teaser, which did worse than LEGO Movie 2 and fucking Isle of Dogs despite opening in more theaters. Yes, season 5 came completely out of left field, but who knows what’s gonna happen?

  8. If Ok K.O. really is “complete”, I predict that it will be an Uncle Grandpa situation: finished, but CN has a lot of episodes left to air. Not cancelled, but with it's numbers, there is a good chance it won't be renewed once the run is finished.
