  1. Uther's Guide to Joker Poker
  2.
  3. If you want to get a lot of tokens, Joker Poker is the best way to go about it.
  4. Bet Strategy - If you have...
  5. 300-500 tokens - 10 token bets
  6. 501-2000 tokens - 50 token bets
  7. 2000+ tokens - 100 token bets
  8.
  9. Good cards to hold:
  10. 1) Pairs
  11. 2) 3-4 cards towards a decent hand (Straight/Flush/Straight Flush/Royal Flush)
  12. (Don't hold onto 3-4 cards out of a "fill-in-the-hole" regular straight, but do try for "fill-in-the-hole" straight flushes/royal flushes!)
  13. 3) Jokers, no matter what.
  14. 4) As obvious, if dealt a good hand that will pay off, hold it! (It should auto-hold for you.)
  15.
  16. Advanced Poker Strategies:
  17. If you're dealt 2 jokers and the best hand you can come up with is a 3 of a kind:
  18. 1) If one of the 3 cards is a face card, hold it and the 2 jokers and try for a royal flush.
  19. 2) If one of the 3 cards isn't a face card, hold the 2 jokers and draw the other 3.
  20.
  21. * If you're dealt 1 joker and the other 4 cards don't make anything decent, hold the joker and draw the other 4 cards.
  22. * If you're dealt 5 cards of absolute crap. No pairs, 3-4 cards towards a decent 5 card hand, no jokers. Throw em all away!
  23. * If you get dealt 2 jokers, and 3 cards that give you a straight:
  24. (Example: Joker / Joker / 4 Shields / 6 Shields / 5 Swords)
  25. Obviously, this is a guaranteed win straight that pays 1:4.
  26. What I would do is: Hold the Jokers, the 4 and 6 of shields and draw the 5.
  27. Why? 11 possible cards out of 47 to get a better paying hand!
  28. Draw a 2, 3, 5, 7 or 8 of shields = Straight Flush 45:1 (5 possible cards out of 47)
  29. Draw a 4 or 6 of Swords/Slimes/Moons = 4 of a kind 18:1 (6 possible cards out of 47)
  30. Draw a 5 of Moons/Slimes = Straight 4:1 (2 possible cards out of 47.)
  31. Draw anything else: 3 of a Kind 2:1
