  1. Approaching the man he would give the wounds a bit of fire, sealing them and stopping the bleeding. "That ought to stabilize you. . ." He would wave to Namika before, gingerly, dragging Xal back to town, most specifically the first floor infirmary of the Melym tower to be tended to by medical magi or 'clerics' as their connotical terminology names them.
  2.
  3. "Careful. . . don't open his wounds, Alvyn. . ." He told himself making sure to not go over steep hills, bumpy parts of the path to danarium, or otherwise. He didn't know how or why this man was stabbed in such manners or why his eyes were REMOVED just that he needed treatment, and fast.
  4.
  5. The medics in the tower noted his condition and, disgustedly began to work the general appearance of the victim was poor, and it was a miracle he'd lasted so long.
  6.
  7. Alvyn shook his head. Who would have done this to him? he could only think of one or two things, knowing the Banishers in general demeanor to anything not 'holy' or 'Ryujin' in nature to be evil. "Are you an occultist?" he asked the victim.
  8. (Alvyn Tentis-Vondyr)
  9. Alvyn Tentis-Vondyr: <*Carrying a man with cauterized stab wounds into the tower's infirmary*>
  10. [10:02:14] Xal: ...O-...Occultist?
  11. [10:03:56] Xal: Wh-... What are you going on about?
  12. [10:03:56] Alvyn Tentis-Vondyr: Do you use dark magic?
  13. [10:03:56] Xal: ....Dark.... Magic?
  14. [10:05:39] Xal: ....What's that?
  15. [10:07:21] Alvyn Tentis-Vondyr: Magic of occult nature. .. wielding depraved energies.
  16. [10:08:12] Alvyn Tentis-Vondyr: <*The wounds are all bandaged or wrapped up, Xal would be kept on his stomach to ensure they don't reopen*>
  17. [10:08:12] Xal: I dont know what youre going on about....
  18. [10:09:04] Alvyn Tentis-Vondyr: Show me your magic.
  19. The questions, they never seemed to come to an end. It was almost as though the people taunted his oblivious nature, taunting him with their malevolent behavior towards him, taunting him with this title. He was slowly losing his patience, flairing up with a sudden arousal of rage.
  20.
  21. "I. Dont. HAVE. -ANY-
  22. MAGIC!"
  23.
  24. From his body erupted a potent cloak of violet tendrils, rotting away at the table he was lain upon. Those who were once working on him were forced back by a shockwave of force, one without a face humming with a deep rattle bass. His body seemed to repel anything and everything conceivably close, launching them for the infirmary walls, and threatening other patients. From the wading tendrils, diamond shardlets manifested to grant a cosmic imbued occultistic aura. Judging from the telekinetic manipulation, it could be assumed he had more than a single affinity under his belt. He… Likely assumed by the silence that came from his form afterwards, was also surprised at his own outburst.
  25.
  26. Here, lain a cosmic occultist with telekinetic capabilities…
  27. (Xal)
  28. Alvyn, along with the medics whom were tending to Xal, would be flung back into the walls of the cubical room, some of them being flung through into adjacent medical cubicals.
  29.
  30. Alvyn let out a low grunt. "YOu okay guys?" He called out to the medics, each of them resounding with a 'yea' or an idle groan out of being sore. ALVYN On the other hand, when attempting to use his left arm to stand up, would let out a harsh groan of pain. "Damn. . ." He called using his other arm which seeemed perfectly fine.
  31.
  32. "Don't worry. . . calm down. . . we aren't going to persecute you for occult magic. . . and any fine for the damages you did today, I'll take care of." He waved his hands. "Just calm down. . . Did the person who did this to you have a name sir?"
  33. (Alvyn Tentis-Vondyr)
  34. Alvyn Tentis-Vondyr: <*Arsa would find a hole in the wall and a medic on the ground recollecting themselves*>
  35. [10:32:57] Arsa Maliz: <*Glances over, doing a double take. Noticing Alvyn, she waves.*>
  36. Arsa Maliz: Think you can handle all of uh, whatever that is?
  37. [10:33:48] Arsa Maliz: I have to get ready for the expedition.
  38. [10:33:48] Alvyn Tentis-Vondyr: Yea. . . <*HOlding his shoulder*>
  39.
  40. (Due to complications, there was a full day of rest prior to a continuation which assumed passage up to this point.)
  41.
  42. Walking at an intensely slow pace, a figurine emerged from the Meylm Tower. He was tired, wheezing even.. Likely attempting to run prior, but from what?
  43. "..I'm... I'm not a magi... I'm NOT a magi!"
  44. He was afraid, in denial! He voice sounded off throughout all of Central Danarium, likely turning heads for some distance.
  45.
  46. Straight from intensive care, a burned entity appeared rather ecstatic, shaking out of fear. His head shot right, left - Attempting to catch a strong idea for his surroundings. To those whom paid it close attention, the entire right side of his face was charred to a point of no return, cracked enough to reveal veins of active occutltistic energies running through the damaged face.
  47.
  48. The orange lining jaggedly stretched for his right eye socket, which held no eye. Within it was merely a husk, void of flesh aside from the pink percieved through the open slits of his eyelids. It was a truely grotesque sight, however, not as strange as his revealed chest. Thick, leathered flesh riddled with occultism- Yokai flesh, seared to his body.
  49.
  50. From the look of the several impalements upon his abdomen and torso, painted with encircled scabbing, it was easy to presume that he was recently attacked. As for whom condoned to such an attack, such was unknown.
  51. "Get away....Get away!.... I SAID GET AWAY FROM ME!"
  52.
  53. He lacked eyes and thus, couldn't see a single soul... However, with the loss of his sight, his hearing naturally intensified. Within the center of the city, blaired with so many voices. all at the same time- All he could do was squirm at the pain. It clawed from within, forcing him to his knees. In such a state of anguish, his true nature began to unleash itself; Unfortunately, this release, was within the center of the village.
  54.
  55. Glacium Knights, Citizens, Magi and more happened to pass on by, some of which stopping to take notice at the fallen Xalv's dramatic scene. A steady hum rattled at the eardrums of those nearby, bass boomed, and signs of an aroused magical presence took shape. Dust and pebbles began to levitate for the skies above, carried in the potency of the affinities in use.
  56.
  57. An outline picked the man part from the surroundings he knealt upon, darkening, flickering like a constant static- A candle feeding the last of it's fuel, on the verge of dying... Or catching ahold of something... Greater! This was only the beginning, and the flair of occultistic tendrils shown just that. The stars themselves seemed to have adopted their new place upon the occultistic cloak that surrounded the magnus, giving it regenerative properties to his mana circuit, constantly leaving it in flux from his nameless star above.
  58.
  59. The memories came in at random- And as of right now, he was getting all of the bare basics at once- Just as the voice had told him on that fateful day.
  60.
  61. "Down to the most basic components..." If only he remembered...
  62.
  63. For now, the extending presence felt dreadful, intoxicating to some, and ensicking to others...
  64. (Xal)
  65. Few brave individuals took up an approach for the occultist, Glacium Knights, prepared to act in the line of duty considering it was their upmost obligation.
  66. "Stand down, Occultist. Make this easy on yourself." called out a Glacium Knight amoungst the gathering ring.
  67.
  68. "You're surrounded!" Exclaimed another...
  69.
  70. "Recede your dark magic and submit to defeat, Occultist." warned yet another knight. The warnings and threats continued onward, not quite clicking with Xalv all -too- well.
  71.
  72. As of now, there were not just three, nor four Glacium- But dozens, upon dozens, surrounding the magnus in a large ring. All of whichdrew weapons in their defense. Spears, Katanas, and battle-axes... It looked quite one-sided at this point, however the potency of the magic at use here was far more than many may've realized.
  73.
  74. "Why won't you all just leave me alone..." He groaned to himself, the incremation of bass kicked up to resemble the squeal of synth for even just a moment, before a shockwave of gravitonic force propelled outwards from his body, expelled in the shape of an outgoing ring, catching any that it could by the chestal region and propelling them into fences, other bodies unto one another, into the Melym tower, and so on.
  75.
  76. Not a single casualty had been commited, aside from a few injured men due to impact. Citizens and nearby magi whom observed, could clearly see the intensification of the occultistic presence, empowering the spells at use here. Men were beginning to recover, some of which charging for the assailant.
  77.
  78. In the blink of an eye, his body phased into a blur. Ascending upward almost violently, few seconds prior to his uprising, the cobblestone tore apart in an upward rain. The debris pelted at those relatively close by, perhaps granting those nearby with a concussion, or simply leaving them conscious. In a mean arch, he ended up descended very closeby, disappearing into the trees of Wychwood. Judging from his condition, it was doubtful he could make much distance....
  79.
  80. Considering the damage he managed to accumilate, it was more than likely that some would like to capture this unknown entity for questioning. His obvious occultist nature- was reason enough for imprisonment... Could this mean, this may've been just another mindless occultist attack?
  81. (Xal)
  82.
  83. Akrid had seen the entire event play out and was even close enough to be pelted by the cobblestone but was not hit with any big rocks tho the a man whom had been standing right next to him was callapsed and bleeding from a small gash in his forehead
  84.
  85. Akrid being relatively new to this land was beginnign to wonder if it was infested with strange people and oddities or if he had been in the right places at the right times for the past few eventful weeks...or months it was easy for him to lose track of time he honestly didn't know.
  86.
  87. He was a Sacred Knight in training and was unsure if he should get involved especially since it seemed that the Glacium were handling it... Or trying to anyways but out of pure curiousity he trailed the men who headed into the direction where the Occultist fled to more or less endulge his own curiousity of the situation
  88. (Akrid)
  89. A few broken branches here, and there- A trail carved into the soil, and finally the kneeling body of the nameless occultist, making a slow tread away from the scene. Dust powered the grasses nearby and his footprinting for a few brief amount of time making passage away from his violent landing. His breathing alongside with the quiet scenery left him a bit more soothed.
  90.
  91. He was still riled a bit, in the fighting mood thanks to the occultistic aura that radiated from his form. Although, he lacked his eyes, all he could rely on now- Was his hearing, which didn't bode well when combined with his anger or this... Battlelust.
  92.
  93. The peace settled in, but only for a short amount of time. Soon enough, he'd be forced to start seeking out his own sources of food, water, and shelter. Without the ability to see, he was entirely dependent on others when it came to hunting and cooking- Especially, for shelter… Blindness was the ultimate handicap and th- Wait..
  94. His head fired backwards, detecting something -HEARING- something.
  95.
  96. “Who’s there… Why don’t you just LEAVE ME ALONE!” He exclaimed in the direction of his harrassment.
  97.
  98.
  99. (Xal)
  100. Akrid seeing as he had been found out wasn't sure what to do or say... Or was he found out? For from his point of view there were several Glacium surroudning the area backs pressed against trees or hiding behind bushes all either ready to draw their weapons or weapons already drawn the group he had been trailing whence locating the Occultist had now split up and surrounded him trying to catch him with the element of surprise even if he was blind they still wanted to be caughtious and approach carefully not knowing what he still could be capeable of
  101.
  102. Akrid stayed silent for a few long moments and felt as if his heart would burst from his chest if it kept beating at the rate it was going he squeezed his eyes shut and hoped that it wasn't him the man had noticed but the Glacium....
  103. (Akrid)
  104. ....Silence...
  105.
  106. Danger was lurking right across the corner, fear sunk down into his very soul. It was as though the fangs of such a dark entity stabbed into his back, impaling his lungs to leave him parched for air. His own breathing felt loud now, the only thing stuck out to him now.
  107.
  108. He could've sworn he was being followed...
  109. -Rustle-
  110.
  111. His head fired off towards his left, listening intently in that direction- Practically shaking now in fear of what was going to happen next.
  112. "...W- Why won't you leave me alone... All I want... Is to be left alone! But you people keep attacking me... Keep hurting me! Keep forcing your titles unto me! I am no magi... I am no occultist! Leave. Me..." His voice deepened with an occultistic growl.
  113.
  114. Suddenly, His tone evolved into something more solemn and intimidating. "Alone..." He allowed himself to be consumed by his occultism, for once- Granting a far different effect then it did the first time he fell victim to it. Now, it's potency complete took over, allowing him to plunge into a new level of self-induced depravity, even withou a Koar to spark it.
  115.
  116. This, inevitiably brought upon the expansion of his tendrils, spreading out for the enviornment around him, sapping at lifeforce it made contact with. Grass, trees, small shrubbery and rodents- Even Lesser Yokai nearby. It was far more immense than a newly formed occultist. This... Was the rise of a dormant occultist....
  117.
  118. Forced against a 'corner', he was put on the verge of defending himself.
  119. "I know you're there... You're always there... You just want to hurt me again!"
  120. (Xal)
  121. Akrid gasped as he saw the tendrils and he began to regret giving to his own curiousity as the phrase 'Curiousity killed the cat now wormed it's way into his mind telling him that he had made a very idiotic mistake following the party in pursuet of the occultist. Now he thought was the best time to get out of there before hell broke loose and he was confident enough to try to flee.
  122.
  123. He ran as quietly as he could in the opposite direction of the occultist and attempted to flee toward the city but seeing as it was a hot day and there was a lot of dry twigs and dead leaves as soon as he made his first few steps there was a loud crunch that alerted the cultist of his position he froze for a moment but panicked and attempted a full sprint get away from the scene
  124. (Akrid)
  125. The occultist awaited for something, anything... Head slowly shifting towards the right, as though to filter out even the most insignificant of sounds...
  126. -Rustle-
  127.
  128. He shifted towards the likes of the bush, -A- Glacium Knight! However, that wasn't all! There was the crunching of leaves, through dried fall-season forestry… And…. Leaving? He didn’t pay it as much mind as the encroaching entities he could hear closing in on him. It seemed as though Akrid was the last of this occultist’s concerns. The stealthy sneak attack commited to by the Glacium had worked, so far! From all directions, they charged in. Their presence was no longer a secret, and thus- He reacted in the first way that came to mind.
  129.
  130. The boom of bass rattled at the scene, blowing away at the Knights in a single go. This wasn’t anything aside from the beginning… “GO AWAY!” He exclaimed at the top of his lungs, his voice echoing after the child that made his move. This encounter was likely under his league… However, he did do the deed in showing the Knights where to look… Could they apprehend this occultist?
