  1. Black Knight is a unit that I have loved using ever since he came out. Recently I had an extra bold fighter fodder and decided to see what I could do with this heavily armored man. Turns out you can abuse Black Luna in ways that shouldn't be allowed.

  3. Weapon: Brave Sword. We'll get back to why this is used instead of Alondite in a moment.

  5. Assist: Rally Def/Res. He's paired with an enemy phase built Amelia as this build is exclusively player phase.

  7. Special: Black Luna. Who thought this skill was ok? -80% to both defensive stats is ridiculous. It may as well say 100% reduction. When BK was released skills like bold fighter didn't exist, so Black Luna could pretty much only ever be activated once. I think you can see where this is going.

  9. A slot: Fury 3. Would be Fury 4 but I'm poor. The general boost to stats helps in most situations. The Atk boost is nice to help offset brave sword. The Spd boost again to help offset brave sword, but BK's decent speed actually helps prevent the opponent from doubling. The extra defense takes him to 41 Def, high enough to take minimal damage from most physical sources. The extra Res pretty much saves his life against dragons.

  11. B slot: Bold Fighter. This, along with bold fighter and the seal are what makes this build. Quickened pulse brings Black Luna to 2 charge. On attack, brave sword allows for two attacks. The first hit charges Black Luna (thanks to Bold Fighter) and the second hit activates Black Luna. As long as the opponent can counter, this brings Black Luna back to 2 charge. Second round, same thing. Two Black Luna activations in a single combat takes out pretty much any unit in the game. (The only thing that breaks this is any skill that inflicts guard, but even then BK gets one Black Luna off.)

  13. C slot: Ward Armor. Used to support enemy phase armored units on team.

  15. Seal: Quickened Pulse. Enables the double Black Luna attack from turn one.
