Attendees: Detective s (DS, Interviewer), John Doe (JD)
DS: Thank you for agreeing to attend, I just want you to recall
anything and everything you can about the crime scene. I won't
interrupt you, just start when you're ready.
JD: Thank you, er, I'd just finished work at the grocery store and
was walking home when I saw what I thought was trash bags piled
outside my home. When I lifted a bag to move it, it burst and I
saw the body.
DS: Keep going
JD: I just, I don't know, I froze and called the police. It was
awful.
DS: Can you describe the condition of the body
JD: Yes it was as if it had burst open, there was so much blood,
and the smell, awful. I'm sorry it was just terrible.
DS: So just to confirm, the bag was burst open and you clearly saw
the body?
JD: Yes
DS: Can you remember anything specific?
JD: No, just there was a lot of blood
DS: Can you tell me you job title again please?
JD: I'm a grocery store worker
DS: Thank you John, I will be in contact soon
