+nationalparksign __ Just a quick follow-up. I think the idea of "not thinking about it" is not just funny but also significant. We are to *imagine* and not *think*.



It seems everything is designed to prevent us from thinking.



From "experts" on television articulating "competing views/points" so that the audience does not first think about it.



And all the stupid things that can only make sense if you don't think about it.



Each time you're exposed to such a thing - *and you don't think about it* - you get a little better at suppressing your thoughts.



It's also a way to hide hypocrisy. When someone behaves hypocritically the audience must notice the contradictions. But if they're not thinking then the person can get away with behaving hypocritically.



I'm saying - besides being just outright funny - there is much more to the idea of *"it makes sense if you don't think about it"*.



It should become one of our "slogans".
