Alegra's speech!

<GMC> Curiosity and Boris greet the noble mare to the meeting hall, and talk briefly in the language of Mexicolt when Cury brings her spanish on. Pleased at Alegra, she remains quiet, sitting behind her and leaning on her stallion as the noble gets ready to address the Cannonites. Aurora and Iron stay relatively close to her, looking from the corners of the stage.

"I see a lot of ponies today... ponies of all kind that I'm glad to know. Some of you saw me at the train station and already heard my name, but for those who haven't, I'm Alegra Goodheart, and I hope to be your friend during the week I'll be here."

"but not all can be polite greetings and laughs, my dearest" Says the noble. Her fancy scholar dress suits well he earth pony build, remarking her cute features and soft pastel colors. A tall pony in red armor joins the stage as well, remaining close to Iron Wing. "For Equestria has commited a mistake I'm here to correct... Before we can start, I want to apologize, to all of you, for the atrocity committed based on ignorance and fear, on selfish goals that have confined you to this beautiful, yet cruel region. I know my words don't and never will supply what you lack here, or what you've suffered here. Even so, it'd keep gnawing at my heart not to make it known that many of us are working hard to not only include you into the Equestrian spectrum of allies, but recognize you as your own culture, deserving of a land of their own to call home and forge your own destiny unbound of the oppresive chains we've put on you"

"It'll be a job of all of us, in charge of every single one of you as well as the ponies that bravely work at Canterlot and other towns  to ensure you, humans, cannonites, a future bright as the fire I can see in your eyes"

The pony in red armor shifts on his spot, while Iron Wing stares at Alegra in awe. "My fellow ponies, you are here to find your destiny. We don't know, for sure, what strange force put you all on this land, but is time to leave our fears aside and work together to find its purpose. Nothing happens accidentaly, those don't exist. With that I also want to accept some guilt"
Alegra looks to the floor, then to the many faces she's talking to. Her smile has been replaced for a more serious expression long ago. "If me and my colleagues had worked earlier to assist you, many tragedies could have been avoided. It's for those that fallen, that've died in sacrifice for us that we must go on, to know that we are not here in vain, in the hands of chaos. Harmony will existand prevail between humans and ponies, that's our goal and nothing will stop us from achieving it." The mare takes a small pause to lick her lips, and is handled a glass with water promptly by a unicorn. She thanks her with a nod."So please, as much I understand not all of you believe in my cause due to past violations of your rights as free creatures, I beg of you to let me try to know what motives humans, what they want and do, how they live and what they believe. In exchange you'll win more than a friend, you'll win yourselves the chance to arise on your own as a nation."

The mare drinks some water and nods at the crowd. "My activities will lead me to many of the places of this colony, which I hope you'll let me call home as well. For your attention to my request and apology, many thanks. Now, if any of you has questions, I'll gladly answers them"

 Murmuring can be heard from the crowds as many of the ponies seem to find this idea rather well to their liking.
Curiosity and some of the civilian guards she hired look pretty pleased at Alegra's words, although the creamy mare shows hints of sadness.
