#INeedERA because burning bras hasn't brought gender equality.

#INeedERA because women STILL don't have equal protection in our constitution.

#INeedERA because women have fought long and hard for us to have gender equality.

#INeedERA because how we treat women is a barometer of a nation's success.

#INeedERA because misogyny & sexism is running rampant in our society today.

#INeedERA because women are discriminated by their gender everyday - from catcalling to the wage gap.

#INeedERA because in order to make progress against systemic gender-based violence, we must end gender discrimination.

#INeedERA because women's health issues are politicized and men's aren't.

#INeedERA because we are shocked with idea of 9 women SCOTUS justices, but not the idea of 9 men.

#INeedERA because laws prohibiting discrimination against women shouldn't be subject to the whims of Congress.

#INeedERA because equal should mean equal.... and yet it doesn't when it comes to human rights.

#INeedERA because it's 2017.

#INeedERA because our constitution says "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal", not women.

#INeedERA because one would think in the 21st century #EqualPay would be the standard, but it's not.

#INeedERA because women deserve equal constitutional rights.

#INeedERA because we've been fighting for 45 years to ratify the ERA.

#INeedERA because women in every state should be free from discrimination...
