  1. [11:24]*Iroquois-Pliskin is now alone(?) in the Jebri house, laying on his belly on the couch and contemplating his life and potential death.
  2. [11:43]*Simon-Blackquill is approaching the Jebri house, so don't you worry Snake.
  3. [11:43]*Iroquois-Pliskin's motorcycle is parked outside!
  4. [11:43]*Iroquois-Pliskin is thus very obviously Here.
  5. [11:44]*Simon-Blackquill sees said motorcycle and gives it an appreciative glance before heading inside the house... this time not knocking, because obviously his friend is here.
  6. [11:45]*Iroquois-Pliskin is still on the couch, laying on his belly, arms folded and head resting on said arms. He's awake, though, head turned to the side so he can stare off at a wall. But from here, he can't see who just came in. "Who is it?"
  7. [11:49]*Simon-Blackquill doesn't say anything at first -- he figures the rattling of his chains when he walks will alert him as to his identity. Nobody else around here is shackled at the wrists, after all. He closes the door behind him and gives the knob an extra turn just so the chains could be heard, even. He steps into the living room and hovers over the couch. "If you cannot tell from the sound of my shackles, I'd be severely disappointed," he says in a bit of a teasing tone.
  8. [11:52]*Iroquois-Pliskin curses internally. Fuck. Of course it has to be Simon. He swallows up his initial reaction, an urge to be pissy about the previous night's events. Besides, he has something else to be butthurt about right now anyways. And also he's thinking about heavy shit that doesn't have room for stupid personal drama.
  9.
  10. "I guess I'm just distracted. Putting me off my game." He says, turning his head just a bit more to look up at Simon out of the corner of his eye.
  11. [11:54]*Simon-Blackquill tilts his head to look back at him. "It helps that you only just started looking at me, Pliskin-dono," he grins, reaching a hand down to run a few fingers through the man's hair. It just looks so good like this, and he knows Pliskin doesn't mind. Simon's completely oblivious to his mood right now, can you tell?
  12. [11:58]*Iroquois-Pliskin gives a growl to the fingers in his hair, but it swiftly fades away into quiet grumbling, his previous anger melting away so easily. How could he stay mad. But it can't fully distract him from what's on his mind.
  13.
  14. "Simon." He says, voice low. "You're still convinced there's no escape from your execution, right? I'm assuming there's a set date for that. Not asking what it is, just wondering. And by the way, my offer to bust you out of jail as a last resort still stands."
  15. [12:00]Iroquois-Pliskin: ((simon: sup *touches hair*
  16. snake: yeah hey so lets talk about dying ))
  17. [12:01]*Simon-Blackquill doesn't say anything for a moment -- he lets his fingers stroke through Pliskin's hair a few more times, enjoying the feel of the copper strands... when he eventually does speak, the amusement in his voice is gone, as is his usual smirk, being replaced by his usual grimace instead. "You don't want to know the date."
  18. [12:05]*Iroquois-Pliskin nods a bit against his arms. "I won't ask." He says, then, and then pauses for a few moments to just... enjoy the feeling of Simon stroking his hair. He really, really does enjoy it, and despite it being something his boyfriend loves to do, he's still not entirely used to it. Before recently, it was something he never really experienced.
  19.
  20. "I wanted to ask you, since you have experience with a part of this equation..." He starts, bringing his thoughts back in order. "Which do you think is worse: knowing you're going to die, and knowing exactly when... Or knowing you're going to die, but having no idea when, only that it could be anywhere between fifteen seconds and fifteen years, with every moment a roll of the dice? Is it better to have the preparation and knowledge but the upcoming dread, or the fear of the unknown while also having the hope that it could stay Not Yet a while longer?"
  21. [12:18]*Simon-Blackquill angles his head further and his smirk returns. "Heh. What a question to ask, indeed. The latter scenario you present to me is almost precisely the same as everyone else -- we all could die at any moment. I may step up to the gates of Hell before my anticipated execution, after all," he replies, though his words don't match his expression at all. He doesn't sound amused in the least. He sounds... sad.
  22.
  23. "............To answer your question, I feel a sort of comfort in knowing my life is drawing to a close. No longer will I have to endure everything." And on some level, despite all that's happened... he still believes that.
  24. [12:23]*Iroquois-Pliskin turns his head a bit, looking away. He doesn't want to look at Simon's face right now. Just for a minute or two. To help him keep his thoughts in line. "That's true enough, life is pretty fickle. But I mean in a sense of, being more likely to die than someone else. That the dice you roll with every breath is smaller than everyone else's. Imagine for a moment having a condition or a circumstance that will kill you, is designed to kill you, has killed other people, but its ability to kill you has been set to chance."
  25.
  26. He takes a breath- he went a little too far with that 'what if'. "You can't plan around it. You can only hope it won't interrupt. You can only hope you won't roll that number on that big yet still so distressingly small die." He nods again slowly. "I think I might prefer knowing, too. If I had a choice in the matter. But I can also appreciate the idea of having hope, holding on and pushing forward with the idea that it might still be Not Yet, and you still have time. You could be wrong, but... you won't know until it happens, right?"
  27. [12:38]*Simon-Blackquill is trying to imagine such a scenario. It seems rather specific... like David's talking about someone in particular. A friend? No. Himself? Highly likely, considering everything Simon knows about him. In fact, it would make sense. If David's supposed to be a clone of his father, of course those responsible for his 'birth' would have some way of killing him, right?
  28.
  29. "The uncertainty of death makes many fear it. The unknown is one of our primal fears as human beings -- this is why as children, we often fear the darkness. The imagination and the human mind are much more frightening than anything that could conceivably happen to us. It is with that thought in mind that I must inform you... that even if said scenario exists, the inevitability of death is not to be feared, as it will come for us all and then it will be over. The anxiety that comes with the terror of demise may cause life to come to a premature end."
  30. [12:43]*Iroquois-Pliskin gives a huff of a laugh. "It's funny that you say it's normal, a primal fear as a human to be afraid... Is it weird that it'd been a long time since I was last afraid of death? At least, for myself. On my last mission, there were so many points I could've died... but I didn't care for myself. I guess you could call it a death wish, but I didn't even care that much. I just wasn't afraid- I didn't care. I could've died then, and been alright with it for myself. I had nothing to live for, nothing I wanted. I only kept pushing myself because it was my mission and, for a while there, to protect someone else. Because it was what I had to do."
  31.
  32. He pauses for a moment, regathering his thoughts. "It's been a long time since I the last time I didn't want to die, since the last time I was anything but apathetic. Since I had a real reason to actively want to cling to life. Is that weird?"
  33. [12:52]*Simon-Blackquill doesn't find it weird at all. More than anything, Simon relates to it, but he has to keep repeating the date of his execution in his mind to reel himself back. To keep himself from getting too caught up in the life that won't be.
  34.
  35. Simon shakes his head. "No. It sounds like you've found a purpose outside of being a weapon. That is good and you need to hold onto it."
  36. [12:59]*Iroquois-Pliskin finally changes his position, and with a grunt and a bit of a wince, he rolls over to lay on his back. Hands on his stomach, he looks up at Simon, frown heavy. "Simon." He says, in that way he says Simon's name, not questioning, more of a statement, so steady and even, a word of the other's existence rather than just a name. Simon, Simon. "I've been meaning to tell you something."
  37.
  38. He takes another breath, "I didn't think to tell anyone before, because I didn't think it was important. I didn't care. It was just a fact of my life. But now I've got you, I've got friends, I've got a girl who calls me dad, I've got a man who tells me he loves me, people who care more than I do, and... You deserve to know. I know I should tell all of you sooner rather than later, and even if I'd prefer it be later, I guess it should be sooner, huh?" He gives a small half-smile, "Heh. You've probably figured it out by now, huh? You're smart like that."
  39. [13:03]*Simon-Blackquill watches David's position change and notes that the second he speaks, the tension between them rises. He stares at David's ice blue eyes, listening intently to the entire thing... noticing that he doesn't explicitly tell him 'what he's been meaning to tell' despite that supposedly being the intent of his words.
  40.
  41. ...But, of course, Simon's figured it out. To an extent. "......Death will come for you sooner than most, will it not?"
  42. [13:10]*Iroquois-Pliskin gives a small laugh at that- of course Simon figured it out. "Probably. My dice are a lot smaller than everyone else's." He says, keeping his eyes on Simon's. "I didn't kill my brother, you know. Not without lack of trying- he just kept getting back up. Resilient as hell. But he couldn't resist a virus."
  43.
  44. This is it. Telling Simon the truth. "It's called FOXDIE. At the start of my mission to Shadow Moses Island, I was given an injection full of drugs and other bullshit to keep me active and alert, and keep my blood from freezing. What they didn't tell me is that they made me the carrier of a manufactured virus, programmed to kill only very specific people. My brother was one of them. And the woman who made it, she had a grudge against me, so she secretly made me another target." Another breath, and it's weird how resistant he was to talking about it a minute ago, and now, the words won't stop coming. "it was programmed to activate quickly to kill the other targets. But she set my activation to a wild card. Every single second, I'm rolling that die, still huge but so much infinitely smaller than everyone else's. I could keep being lucky until I come to a natural death. Or I could just drop dead any second now. I have no idea, Simon."
  45. [02:26 PM] Simon-Blackquill is once again listening intently, suddenly becoming slightly concerned about the nature of the virus -- he's a carrier of it. Though only manufactured to kill specific people... people the creator of the virus designates, or people that have certain traits? Surely it'd only be the former. Again, just insurance that David's life won't get too out of control, just as Simon thought.
  46.
  47. "This virus killed your brother while you were in the middle of fighting him?" Simon asked, mostly as a distraction to let his mind process everything else. "While I wasn't exactly expecting to hear news such as this, I can't say I'm entirely surprised. A man such as yourself no doubt has many enemies."
  48. [02:32 PM] Iroquois-Pliskin nods slowly. "Sort of- It was designed to take out him, his unit, and a couple other targets, each of their genetic codes programmed in. Some of them succumbed sooner than others. He lasted the longest, and I kept beating him, and he kept getting back up. In the Metal Gear, hand to hand, in vehicles... Eventually, we were outside, and it seemed he was going to get back up and fight me again, and then he just... Died. From FOXDIE. And I'm infected too, but there's no way to know when it'll activate and fill my bloodstream with whatever that shit is that kills the victim."
  49.
  50. He takes another breath, slow, and lets it out in a sigh through his nose. "That was two years ago. I'd accepted it. I figured, I'd just keep pushing under the assumption that it'll wait at least one more day. So far that's worked out. I had things to do, and it didn't bother me too much. I haven't cared about living in a long time. I'd figured I'd already die sooner rather than later. On the battlefield, or to FOXDIE, it didn't matter."
  51. [0:35]*Simon-Blackquill nods, one hand fiddling with the thick manacle on his other wrist. He isn't even fully aware he's doing it, and the metal eventually ends up cutting into his skin from the tight friction, making him wince and realise just what he's doing to himself. Stop that.
  52.
  53. ".........I am grateful you've informed me of this, and I hope you intend to inform the others," Simon eventually says. "After you've done so, I advise you do your best to forget about it, for notifying others that you may suddenly pass is about all you can do unless FOXDIE has a cure. I suppose it does not."
  54. [0:39]*Iroquois-Pliskin nods again, frowning up at Simon. "Of course I do. You all deserve to know. And no, it doesn't have a cure, as far as I'm aware. If there is one, it's currently out of my reach or knowledge. Normally, I don't bother thinking about it, don't bother thinking about myself dying. I normally don't care, and I haven't cared in so many years, but..."
  55.
  56. But. There's a but this time, where there hadn't been before. "I mean, even with my partner in Philanthropy, sure, I'd worry if he'd be alright without me, but he's tough, and he has our colleagues to fall back on. And he's already used to the idea of me dying, that's practically how we met. But here..."
  57. [0:44]*Simon-Blackquill idly wonders if there's anyone that could be contacted to help find some sort of cure... he doubts it, but it's a thought that crosses his mind. He decides not to mention that thought. "Here, you have things worth living for. I completely understand, as I do as well. It brings out a flame in you that you never knew was there to begin with..."
  58.
  59. He sighs and presses a finger to his forehead to keep himself from fiddling with his manacles again. "In the event that FOXDIE claims you as its victim, at the very least, the ones you care about will know what happened. That's the extent of what can be done. And trust me when I say this -- knowing what takes the life of a treasured one is knowledge those in mourning would appreciate."
  60. [0:49]*Iroquois-Pliskin nods slowly. "Yeah. That's my intention in telling you guys. I thought for a bit, maybe it'd be better if no one has to think about it and dread it happening. But you all deserve to know the truth, and understand wh- if it happens."
  61.
  62. He pauses for a moment, and then continues. "It's weird to me. I almost forgot what it was like to actually care about dying, to actually want to live. But now I've got all of you, and everything's so different now." And then he gives a small smile. "I don't think I've... ever had anyone care about me like you people do. And if I did, definitely not more than one. It's... It's so weird."
  63. [1:00]*Simon-Blackquill chuckles weakly, as the fact that Simon cares so much for David is now out in the open. It's a little embarrassing. ...It helps that Simon is still rather attracted to him, too. Damn it.
  64.
  65. "...Heh. Well I'm glad we've given something so precious to you. I trust we might be able to see emotional improvement out of you yet, yes?"
  66. [1:02]*Iroquois-Pliskin's smile is a bit pained, small and lopsided, almost a half smile and he hasn't taken his eyes off Simon's face. "Heh. Maybe. I'm working on it. I-" He pauses, and then huffs out a hollow-sounding laugh, shaking his head. "I don't... I don't want to die, Simon. I didn't care before, it didn't bother me, but now it does, and I don't wanna die."
  67. [1:06]*Simon-Blackquill has to be the bearer of bad news... as if David isn't already painfully aware of it. "It will come for you FOXDIE or naught. You just need to live while you're alive, and cling to the purposes you have found to do so... and never let them go." With that, he brings his hands to his chest, and extends them, stretching his chain taut.
  68. [1:11]*Iroquois-Pliskin's fingers curl against his chest, in his shirt. "I'd... I'd be fine with this if I'd just grow old. Fuck, I'm even still kind of okay with dying on a mission- I'm a damn soldier, that's how I expect to die. But just... some shitty disease from some vengeful woman constantly playing Russian Roulette with me, that I could just drop dead any second, I don't... I don't want it, Simon, I don't want to die like this. But it's just. So likely, I don't know how I've managed to luck out for two whole years."
  69.
  70. His fists ball into the fabric of his shirt, and the smile's gone, and he's looking past Simon now, ice-blue eyes trained on the ceiling. "She said the same thing, you know. I asked her how long I had. All she could tell me was to Live. And I want to, I don't want to stop from something as stupid as this."
  71. [1:16]*Simon-Blackquill can't imagine how that must feel, but he finds himself growing more emotional over this than expected. Emotional in the direction of anger, hearing about the woman that did this... what sort of sick individual would place such a curse upon someone like that? As if David didn't have enough troubles already.
  72.
  73. "She is despicable for plaguing you with such an uncertain fate," he growls, his own gaze directing itself to the floor.
  74. [1:23]*Iroquois-Pliskin draws in a breath, slightly rattled, and he disentangles a hand from his shirt to run it through his hair instead. "I just. I don't want to die like that, Simon. A natural death, or even being shot on the battlefield, I'd be alright with that. That's shit I can handle, shit I can expect, shit I'd already come to terms with back during the last time I still cared about living." His voice is strained as he talks, and he practically chokes out what he says next, "I want to live, Simon, I don't want to die, not like this. I can hope that I can keep getting lucky, but if I don't, if I luck out, I don't- I don't want to."
  75. [1:32]*Simon-Blackquill looks down at him and frowns... his words aren't doing any good and he's going to start repeating himself if he keeps this up. Simon lowers himself and places a hand on David's own, while the other strokes along his scruffy cheek and jaw in the most soothing manner he can manage. "...I'm sorry, my friend." That's about all he knows to say at this point. Emotional comfort isn't his strongest suit, but he knows David can appreciate his company at times so he hopes this helps.
  76. [1:39]*Iroquois-Pliskin accepts this, his hand relaxing under Simon's, and he tilts his head into the touch to his face. It... works, sort of, in terms of comfort. He looks at Simon's face again, opening his mouth to say something else, but he chokes on his own voice, and can only clear his throat.
  77.
  78. Two years ago, hadn't he said he no longer had any tears to shed? If so, then why do his eyes sting like this? For just a moment, looking into Simon's eyes, his own ice blue eyes looked a bit wet, before he closes them against the burning, pulling it back in.
  79. [1:41]Iroquois-Pliskin: (( im not crying youre crying ))
  80. [1:43]*Simon-Blackquill watches David's face intently in case he does anything out of line, though he doesn't expect to. He wants to respect the man's personal space. However, he receives a good reaction, for the most part -- but for a second, Simon could swear it looked like David was about to cry -- so he lowers himself further and silently continues his strokes and touches of comfort. The other man can do as he wishes and Simon would not judge.
  81. [1:47]*Iroquois-Pliskin isn't going to cry. He reins it in, retains his control, but he came deadly close. He does have to rub a bit at his eyes with the back of the wrist of his free hand, but thankfully, no moisture leaves his eyes, and they're dry when he finally reopens them. He shouldn't cry, can't cry, won't cry. He's not supposed to. So he doesn't let himself, even if it aches in his chest from pulling it back in. He can handle it.
  82.
  83. He gives a shuddering breath, trying to keep a handle on it, on himself. "... Thanks, Simon."
  84. [1:59]*Simon-Blackquill is fine regardless of whether he cries or not. Simon would understand the need to shed tears, as he's shed many himself... and often, it feels quite nice afterward. But he won't say anything regarding it either way. "I'll always do what I can, David. That, I promise you."
  85. [2:01]*Iroquois-Pliskin huffs a breath through his nose, and tries to smile again, a bit more genuine this time. "I could say the same to you." He says, looking up into his friend's face. "I said this earlier, but my offer still stands. I've already got a jailbreak I didn't commit on my rap sheet. What's an actual jailbreak for a friend? It won't bother me."
  86. [2:10]*Simon-Blackquill isn't sure he approves, but he chuckles at the offer regardless. "I will keep your offer in mind. As my execution draws nearer, I may opt to have you break me out if only to delay it, if I need the assistance." ...The fact that he's actually considering it is somewhat remarkable, really.
  87. [2:12]*Iroquois-Pliskin chuckles as well, relaxing again. "I might end up breaking you out regardless. Not letting you just die on my watch when I actually CAN do something to stop it."
  88. [2:13]*Simon-Blackquill tilts his head and smirks. "I wouldn't suggest doing it without my say so. Aren't you trying to keep a low profile?"
  89. [2:14]*Iroquois-Pliskin shrugs a bit. "Like I said, breaking some random convict out of jail is nothing compared to the rest of my rap sheet. And besides, I don't mind. It's for a friend."
  90. [2:15]Simon-Blackquill: I'm a death row inmate approaching his date of demise. I'd say that's a bit more unlawful than, say, breaking a thief out of the clink.
  91. [2:15]Simon-Blackquill: But what do I know... I'm merely a murderer.
  92. [2:17]Iroquois-Pliskin: Honestly, Simon, that's barely a blip on the radar next to everything else. I'm a known 'terrorist' as far as the government is concerned. And they've already blamed me for a high-profile spy being broken out of federal prison, even though I had nothing to do with it. A regular murder convict is small-time.
  93. [2:18]Simon-Blackquill: For you, perhaps. The law might not see it that way is all I'm saying.
  94. [2:19]Iroquois-Pliskin: And I don't give a crap about the law.
  95. [2:19]Iroquois-Pliskin: No offense.
  96. [2:19]Simon-Blackquill: None taken, you've every reason to feel such a way.
  97. [2:20]Iroquois-Pliskin: You're my friend, Simon. That's what I care about. If the life that I have to live is limited, and I'm supposed to live it as best I can, I don't want to waste my chance to save a friend.
  98. [2:20]Simon-Blackquill: .........Fair enough.
  99. [2:21]Simon-Blackquill: 21st of December.
  100. [2:21]*Simon-Blackquill has only uttered that date to two other people. Consider yourself lucky.
  101. [2:21]*Iroquois-Pliskin pauses for a moment. "Coming up quick, huh? I'll keep it in mind." He says, before snorting dismissively. "Add that to the list of reasons I don't like the holidays."
  102. [2:23]Simon-Blackquill: I believe I implied it to be approaching soon.
  103. [2:24]Iroquois-Pliskin: Yeah, you did. Still. About twenty days.
  104. [2:25]*Iroquois-Pliskin's internal clock is already set to the countdown, ticking away. He won't forget.
  105. [2:25]Simon-Blackquill: ...Mm.
  106. [2:25]*Simon-Blackquill laughs nervously.
  107. [2:25]Simon-Blackquill: I might die...
  108. [2:25]Simon-Blackquill: Heh.
  109. [2:26]Simon-Blackquill: Heh heh.
  110. [2:27]*Iroquois-Pliskin finally moves to sit up, grunting a bit as he does, and even wincing once he's up. Ow. "Simon. If I have anything to say on the matter, you won't die."
  111. [2:28]Simon-Blackquill: I've long since accepted that I will. I will meet my end and it will all be over -- my final obligation in this life.
  112. [2:29]Iroquois-Pliskin: And what about your kid?
  113. [2:29]Simon-Blackquill: ............Raven turned out fine without a father... there is a chance Kujaku will as well.
  114. [2:30]*Simon-Blackquill doesn't mean that.
  115. [2:31]Iroquois-Pliskin: You don't really mean that, do you? The kid adores you. If not for yourself, don't you at least have an obligation to life for his sake? For his happiness, at least?
  116. [2:31]Simon-Blackquill: ......
  117. [2:31]Iroquois-Pliskin: You chose to adopt him.
  118. [2:31]Iroquois-Pliskin: You can't just abandon him now.
  119. [2:31]*Simon-Blackquill sighs and brings a hand to cover his face, feeling tears beginning to break loose, to fall down his cheeks. David's absolutely right.
  120. [2:32]Iroquois-Pliskin: When you make a choice like that, you stick with it- Mnh.
  121. [2:33]*Iroquois-Pliskin feels like he's gone a little too far, but... at least his point hit home. He turns, moving to sit a bit more upright, to reach out and cup a hand around the back of Simon's neck, in an attempt to match the gestures of comfort Simon had paid to him just a short while ago.
  122. [2:35]*Simon-Blackquill just leaves his hand where it is and allows the tears release, his body shaking with distress. He definitely has the appearance of someone sobbing, but he's totally silent, clearly used to crying like this.
  123. [2:38]*Iroquois-Pliskin doesn't say anything about the tears, instead letting his callused thumb rub against Simon's skin, above the collar of his shirt. "I promise, Simon." He says, voice low. "I'll make sure you stick around. Because I care about you, and you care about your son. Alright?"
  124. [2:47]*Simon-Blackquill nods very gently and raises a shackled hand to gently grip David's wrist, so sorely tempted to attempt a hug, but ultimately can't bring himself to. He'll get to raise Kujaku... He'll get to be there for him. "I love him..." he finally mutters.
  125. [2:51]*Iroquois-Pliskin feels the urge to move close enough to kiss Simon's forehead, but he holds that in. That'd just make things awkward- their relationship isn't like that. Not anymore, at least. No more acting on those stupid urges, they've each got someone else for that. "I know you do." He says, and though he does get up to move close to Simon, he doesn't kiss him, merely bringing their foreheads together, his brow against Simon's fringe. "That's why I brought it up."
  126. [2:54]*Simon-Blackquill slowly opens his eyes upon feeling another forehead making contact with his own, and stares right into David's own. Tears are still spilling, but at a slower rate now, gradually coming to a stop. ".........I needed that... Thank you."
  127. [2:56]*Iroquois-Pliskin lifts a hand to rub away at some of Simon's tears with his thumb and palm, ice blue eyes trained on Simon's. "You're welcome." is all he says, and probably all he needs to say.
  128. [2:58]*Simon-Blackquill twitches in response, instinctively trying to pull back, but ultimately, he doesn't. David's thumb runs right over the dark marks under Simon's eyes, and he's sure to feel that the skin seems to have a very different texture there... it's /rough/.
  129. [3:03]*Iroquois-Pliskin doesn't really like that, but he decides against asking, for now. Maybe some other time. This isn't really the appropriate time. He stops rubbing at Simon's face after another few moments, and just sighs softly through his nose. "Feel any better?"
  130. [3:05]*Simon-Blackquill closes his eyes back again as soon as David's fingers stop their touches, nodding his head gently. "It never fails to bring me at least some form of relief to let my tears fall... It's why I do it."
  131. [3:08]*Iroquois-Pliskin has a feeling Simon's trying to tell him something rather than just making a statement, and he frowns a bit. He's not sure if he appreciates the message to someone like him, but he takes it anyways. "Noted." He says quietly. "... Thanks for letting me talk to you."
  132. [3:17]*Simon-Blackquill isn't actually trying to say anything like that at all, but if that's how David chooses to interpret it, Simon won't argue. "I'd never turn down such an opportunity."
  133. [3:18]*Iroquois-Pliskin huffs out a breath, lip twitching into a brief smile, before he pulls away. "Missed talking to you like this."
  134. [3:18]Simon-Blackquill: .........As did I.
  135. [3:18]Iroquois-Pliskin: Stop acting like such a stranger, then. I'm always around.
  136. [3:19]Simon-Blackquill: Heh... my apologies.
  137. [3:19]Simon-Blackquill: I've been through quite a bit lately.
  138. [3:20]Iroquois-Pliskin: It's fine, don't worry about it. Just reminding you.
  139. [3:21]Simon-Blackquill: Well, while we're here... have you any other important pieces of information for me?
  140. [3:21]*Simon-Blackquill tilts his head and smirks.
  141. [3:22]*Iroquois-Pliskin squints a little. "Not really, was kinda considering a nap- unless you're implying something?"
  142. [3:23]Simon-Blackquill: Not at all. I was merely asking. If you'd like a chance to rest, be my guest.
  143. [3:24]Iroquois-Pliskin: Didn't really sleep well last night, honestly, and I'm exhausted. Especially after talking about that crap.
  144. [3:26]Simon-Blackquill: I imagine so. I hope sleep finds you.
  145. [3:28]*Iroquois-Pliskin straightens himself on his feet, wincing slightly. "Thanks, Simon." He says, stretching a bit. "I'll see you later."
