  11. Rules & Guidelines-
  12.
  13. Can you please link the rules and tell us what you think is good or bad about them. -
  14. Rules & Guidelines can be found HERE. I like NoPixel's rules, they create a very solid foundation for a great RP experience. If you had no idea what RP is, you would gain a pretty decent understanding just from reading the Rules & Guidelines here. I don't really see anything bad about the rules.
  15.
  16. What is your definition of roleplay?
  17. Speaking and acting out a character that you are portraying. Staying IN character and keeping complete immersion within the context of the world your character exists. While roleplaying your character can only learn and act on what they actually experience within their relm of existence. You are embracing an identity other than your own, and living through that persona as if it were real life.
  18.
  19. What type of characters have you roleplayed before?
  20. I have always RP'd as gangsters/mobsters, usually of Italian or Hispanic descent (those are my best accents). When I RP as a police officer or EMS I use a character from the southwestern US. In Arma 3 Life I RP'd as an Italian mobster for over 1k hours.
  21.
  22. What type of characters do you intend to roleplay?
  23. I intent to play a character named Jimmy Biscuit. Jimmy is a 20 year old Italian american with a mobster for a father and a mother he never knew. Jimmy grew up in the southern Bronx on top of a Pizza Parlor. His dad was an Italian mobster in charge of the districts gambling sector. There was always a game of high stakes poker going on in the back room of the parlor. Jimmy was only 5 years old when he was playing with poker chips and he didn't even understand what was going on. His dad was always running these poker games. When Jimmy turned 13, he finally started realizing what was going on in his house, he saw how much money these guys were bringing in and out of that poker room. Jimmy became obsessed with poker, but he knew his father could never find out. Jimmy started stealing poker books from the city library and began learning everything he could about the game. He then started bringing his deck of cards to school, playing the older students at lunch and recces for food and test answers. After a few years Jimmy started highschool, he continued playing poker but his father had grown very suspicious at this point. One night when Jimmy was 17 his dad came bursting into his bedroom " Jimmy, get your ass downstairs!! ". Jimmy thought he forgot to lock up the Pizza Shop again and was going to get a beating, but to his surprise, Jimmy's dad invited him to the basement to play in a poker game with some of his dad's friends. Jimmy's dad even gave him $1k to buy into the poker game. He thought, now is the time to impress his father and finally win his respect. Jimmy played that game of poker for nearly 48 hours straight, by the end of it, he had busted out all 5 other players and sat there with a whooping $38,000. Jimmy's dad walked up to him, scooped the cash into his hat and said " Haha son, you thought it is that easy, I knew you were always up to something you lying little shit ! You're out of here ! I'm sending you to your uncles ! ". Jimmy didn't know if he was more hurt, or pissed, but either way, he is broken. Now Jimmy is set to fly to Los Santos to stay with his uncle Frank. He is completely broke, but motivated to make the connections he needs to get back on his feet, get back on his game, and actually make his father proud this time.

  32. Situational Questions-
  33. Please answer all of these questions in character - using the information you have provided above.
  34. What are your plans for your first day in Los Santos?
  35. On my first day in LS I plan on just exploring and meeting people. I want to see what the big city has to offer. I come from New York so I am no beginner when it comes to the city life. I will begin by finding a legal job, acquire enough money to get myself on my feet. I would see if I can makes some new friends to show me around, maybe see if they can point me in the right direction for some bigger business opportunities.
  36. The cops have pulled you over in a case of mistaken identity. What do you do?
  37. In the unfortunate event that I am mistaken for someone else the police are looking for, I would comply with the officers to ensure they are aware of my real identity. I would want to know what caused the mistake in identity so I could avoid that for a little while after. If the police think I am someone else, I'm pretty sure they will know who they are talking to after I show them my ID. As long as they didn't pull me over while I'm riding dirty, I don't see any issues arising from this scenario except just a little wasted time from an honest misunderstanding.
  38. You are robbing a store. Inside the store is the owner and a civilian. Both individuals are begging you not to rob or hurt them. How would you roleplay this situation and what actions would you take?
  39. If I was actively robbing a store I would have the owner at gunpoint and would tell the civilian to get out of the area immediately. I might check the civilians pockets to ensure they don't have a weapon or a cell phone to call the police. I would continue to hold the owner at gunpoint as I demand the money, as long as the owner complies, no one gets hurt. I see no reason for robbing the civilian of their money unless they are acting hostile or disrespectful to me. After the owner has finished giving me all the cash, I will tell him to have a nice day and ride out, he has a family to go home to, I just care about the money.
  40. A stranger comes up to you and says he needs another person for a “big job” in town. How do you react and what do you do?
  41. A stranger with a " Big Job " sounds a little sketchy to me. Coming from a stranger, I am happy to hear about the job if it is legal. If the job is something illegal, I'm going to have to pass. Helping a complete stranger with an illegal " Big Job " is way too dangerous for me to want to participate. Now, if this job is a legal job, I would definitely like to hear more, as this stranger might actually be recruiting for a company. It also all matters on the context of the situation. How did he approach me? What was he wearing (mask/suit/homeless)? Where were we when he approached me? So many different variables to the situation that might make me more or less inclined to get into a deeper conversation about this mans job he needs another person for.
  42. You are repairing your car and someone pulls up behind you with their gun drawn. They tell you to drop you stuff and handover your keys. What would you say and do in this situation?
  43. I'm pretty shit out of luck in this situation. I have to comply with this guy because he has a gun pointed at me. I could swallow my pride and try to plead with the robber and maybe I will get lucky if he shows some mercy. I would put my hands up and drop my stuff, give him the keys and ask if he'd like me to finish repairing the car also. Even if I was armed with a pistol, I couldn't do anything as I was caught with my pants down and the robber would have taken it from me as I'm being held up. Once they leave I would run to the nearest police station/hospital/phone shop and alert the authorities that my car has been stolen and give the best description of the robber that I can. If I am a member of a mob or gang, maybe I would avoid the police route, and notify my fellow members that my car has been stolen and give them the description of the robber.
  44. You have been involved in a crime with a group of known individuals; the officer offers you less time if you give up information on your group members; what would you do / how would you react?
  45. It depends on the group of individuals. If it is an established group, with power, that I respect/fear, I will always keep my mouth shut. No amount of prison time can be worse than what a gang/mob will do to me if I get caught snitching on them. If the group is just some random Joe's I met down on Del Perro Pier 30 minutes ago, with no power, that I do not fear or respect, then I will most likely begin giving up information to lessen my time. I would never snitch on someone I respect though.
  46. You’ve found what looks like a random car in the street with a load of drugs inside. What do you do and why?
  47. As much as I'd dream about taking those drugs and how much money I could make from selling them, I would never go near that. Once I saw there is a load of drugs in a vehicle like that, I'd notify the police straight away. I would never risk touching those drugs, they could belong to a hostile gang or even be a police setup. I'm definitely minding my own business in this situation but I still need to report it as that is pretty dangerous to be just sitting in the street.
  48. It’s just another day for you as a tow truck driver. You roll up to a job, only to see the person who called you, is holding an EMS hostage. The driver seems erratic and volatile. What do you do?
  49. I would comply with the guy so he does not hurt me or the EMS. If I can, without putting anyone in danger, I would immediately notify the police.
  50. Most likely this guy is seriously wanted by the law, and is using me to repair his getaway vehicle. It kinda sucks for me that I have to help this crazy dude repair his car, but I would never want an innocent hostage to get hurt. If I could avoid the situation all together, call the cops and let them take care of it, that would always be my first course of action. I'm just a tow truck driver for bobs sake, I don't get paid enough to be a hostage negotiator.
  51. You’ve gotten yourself into a situation – you owe a gang $5000 which you must pay back within a few hours. What could be a legal way to get this money in a pinch?
  52. Hopefully I have a decent paying job that I can go work and earn the $5k back. If that's not the case, I would ask my closest friends, let them know that I am in a real pinch and I will pay them back ASAP with interest. If none of my friends could spot me the money, I guess I need to liquidate some of my assets, maybe I have a car or bike to sell even a house. If there is a banker in town, I would be open to getting an emergency personal loan with a high interest rate.
  53. You've been selling drugs on another gangs turf and they find you. How would your character react to this and deal with the situation?
  54. I would obviously know I am stepping where I shouldn't be, so my first reaction would be to play dumb. I tell them I don't know what drugs and I didn't mean to be on their turf. If I can't get away with that, it might escalate into me fighting for my life and probably getting robbed, beat up or even killed by them. A situation like that could easily turn into a fight or flight scenario ending in a shootout or car chase. Most of the time, it's not looking too good form me.

  57. Disclaimers-
  58.
  59. Do you understand acting "salty", "breaking character" or acting "immature" even when someone appears to have broken rules around you is punishable?
  60. Yes. I will always conduct myself in a professional, respectful manner. I have ran into plenty of situations where another player breaks character, goes ooc, gets salty, gets toxic etc. I always just keep my recording going and my mouth shut.
  61.
  62. Do you understand not following the rules may result in a permanent ban in one report?
  63. Yes. I plan to always follow the rules to the best of my ability.
  64.
  65. Do you stream, use youtube or other social media? If so, can you tell us about it? Also, do you have any clips or video of you roleplaying elsewhere?
  66. In 2013 I streamed Arma 3 RP, I no longer have access to that Twitch account. I currently RP on another GTA V server but do not stream.
  67. I do however plan on streaming on Twitch again if I get accepted into NoPixel.
  68.
  69. You’re a sloth and you run into a frog. What do you do?
  70. Impossible because sloths can't run. If I was a sloth and I came across a frog I'd probably go on about my day and leave it alone.
