- Description: Jennifer was walking with three companions early Christmas Eve, when they were accosted by the trio. Jennifer was struck in the head with a handgun as another assailant struggled with Jennifer over her purse. She was shot in the lower back as she tried to flee. “The b---- shouldn’t have bucked,” Thorpe told friends, according to testimony at trial.
